ENGAGED AGAIN: HUGH HEFNER’S FRIENDS ARE WORRIED

Hugh Hefner’s friends were appalled when he allowed his 26 year old runaway bride Crystal Harris move back into the Playboy mansion earlier this year. They felt she had really humiliated him by jilting him before their highly publicized June 2011 wedding, and he was behaving like a fool. Since he announced plans to reschedule the wedding for New Year’s Eve, they want Hef, 86, to have his head examined! Hefner’s pals feel that after Crystal dumped Hugh, she wised up to the fact that her young boyfriends wouldn’t spoil her like Hef did, and ultimately opted for the money. We’re hoping there were a lot of legal documents drawn up to make sure Crystal doesn’t take advantage of her aging husband.

Jessica Biel, 30, finally succeeded in tying the knot with Justin Timberlake ,31, because she gave in to his mother Lynn Harless and let HER call the shots. Jessica would have been happy with a small romantic wedding, but Justin’s mom Lynn had bigger ideas. It’s common knowledge that Justin is a HUGE mama’s boy and his mother successfully runs his world – she’s his co-manager, deals with his finances, runs his media company, and is chairwoman of his charity. Justin probably would have married Cameron Diaz a few years back but his mother disapproved of the 9 year age difference. Jessica and Justin had their problems but she hung in there and was always nice to Lynn. The Italian wedding is rumored to have cost over 6 million dollars and it was Lynn’s decision whether to sell the rights to a magazine. (Above left, Lynn was Justin’s date to the Oscars last year)

Blake Lively Paparazzi People Ryan Reynolds Weddings

BLAKE LIVELY AND RYAN REYNOLDS: PEOPLE MAGAZINE WAS NOT INVITED TO OUR WEDDING!

When Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively secretly married in South Carolina a few weeks ago we were very impressed that they pulled off the event without alerting press or press or photographers. It appeared that they actually planned and PAID FOR their own private wedding instead of selling out to a magazine. Truly romantic. That same week, we were disillusioned to see People magazine’s wedding cover bellow ”People Was There!” implying THEY were invited. It turns out they WEREN’T. People exaggerated the way “Life & Style” or “In Touch” usually does. According to Page Six, Blake’s reps said there was a sneaky photographer on a boat snapping pics, but the couple never sold their pictures to any weekly and certainly didn’t invite anyone from People to the wedding.

Who in their right mind would kick Taylor Swift out of their wedding reception? Do the Kennedys have NO manners? Mother of the bride Victoria Gifford Kennedy INVITED Taylor’s boyfriend Conor Kennedy to the wedding and the teenager failed to RSVP until the last minute. So he avoided the sit down dinner and just showed up for the reception later. HE was responsible for Taylor Swift being there and HE should have been asked to leave. We think the Kennedys are awfully snobbish and rude to make such a big deal out of asking Taylor to leave. She’s a sweet polite girl – NOT some drugged up rock star! They were lucky to have her there! We side with Taylor, not this ill-mannered Kennedy family.

Hold everything!! Justin Timberlake has been located, and he’s in the middle of saying “I do!” A source just told us that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are getting married in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as we write this! They pulled a fast one on everybody! They are in the middle of their ceremony at a very fancy private estate and members of the wedding party are staying at the Four Seasons Hotel there. Jessica lied in a recent interview when she was asked about the upcoming nuptials and insisted “We haven’t planned a thing!”
UPDATE: last night turned out to be the rehearsal dinner and the wedding is actually today!

Chevy Chase Dan Aykroyd Daughter Saturday Night Live Weddings

DAN AYKROYD IS THE MINISTER AT CHEVY CHASE FAMILY WEDDING

We were surprised to hear that Saturday Night Live alumni Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase are still SO friendly that Dan performed the marriage ceremony for Chevy’s daughter Cydney’s wedding this week. (Remember, Chevy left SNL after the first season to become a MOVIE STAR, and there were some hard feelings.) Who knew Aykroyd was an ordained minister? He posted this photo on Facebook which shows him cracking up the wedding party – that’s Chevy in the front row. Dan is active in the alcohol business, and he was in the news last year when 21,000 bottles of his expensive CHV vodka in their distinctive skull shaped glass bottles were hijacked. This was Dan’s tongue in cheek statement:
“My partners and I are sorry to lose this much vodka to theft and do not condone criminal activity in any fashion, but we are happy that some consumers will be afforded the opportunity of tasting it at significantly lower than retail price,”

The Baldwin clan is gathering in Manhattan this weekend for Alec’s marriage to Hilaria Thomas. This includes his 16 year old daughter Ireland and her new mystery boyfriend. Ireland, her cousin Kaia, and her unidentified beau cooled off with gelato in Greenwich Village Friday. The boyfriend didn’t tell his name but he did reveal that they met at an Easter party and for him “It was love at first sight.”

They’re planning their wedding at the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence, Kansas, close to where Jason grew up. Jason, 36, loves his home town – he attended Kansas University and besides being a huge Jayhawks fan, he has lots of friends there. In fact, he frequently incorporated references to Kansas in his SNL skits. No word on the menu yet – Olivia, 28, is a vegan.

Whether Kim Kardashian will return her wedding gifts has become a burning issue in Hollywood. According to etiquette experts, the marriage was very short and the gifts should absolutely be returned, along with a personal note from the bride. Kim had registered for $172,000 worth of place settings, crystal etc. But we’re thinking that ever-practical Kris Jenner might have already returned the gifts to stores for cold hard cash! If that’s the case, Kim could always donate the value of each gift to charity and inform all the disgruntled guests who gave them. 400 wedding attendees will be waiting to see what happens. We wonder if the Vera Wang wedding dress will be auctioned off on eBay….
