We actually felt bad for Rob Kardashian this weekend. He’s been suffering from depression and possibly other problems, but he dutifully pulled himself together and flew all the way to Paris for his sister’s wedding. But before any of the festivities started, he turned around and flew back to LA! It’s rumored that he was immediately disgusted by the vulgar display of wealth and arrogance involved in the wedding preparations. He bailed on the entire weekend and flew home alone. If that’s really how he felt, Rob just became our favorite Kardashian!

It has been suggested that Jessica Simpson warned her father Joe NOT to bring any of his young male companions to her wedding. (Photos surfaced of Joe and a young man on the beach in Miami looking chummy.) The truth is, Joe wouldn’t THINK of doing that and Jessica knows it. But a huge problem remains. Jessica’s mother Tina cannot STAND to be in the same room with her former husband, and Jessica is clearly torn. She’s always been close to her dad AND mother and she wants them both at her wedding. What’s a girl to do?

Kristin Cavallari, 26, of “The Hills” still has some clothing lines but she pretty much gave up her acting career when she moved to Chicago to live with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. She gave birth to their cute little boy Camden eight months ago but still no wedding. After a few postponements, we doubted it would ever happen, but Kristin says the wedding is definitely this summer, but NOT on their son’s birthday August 8.

ENGAGED AGAIN: HUGH HEFNER’S FRIENDS ARE WORRIED

Hugh Hefner’s friends were appalled when he allowed his 26 year old runaway bride Crystal Harris move back into the Playboy mansion earlier this year. They felt she had really humiliated him by jilting him before their highly publicized June 2011 wedding, and he was behaving like a fool. Since he announced plans to reschedule the wedding for New Year’s Eve, they want Hef, 86, to have his head examined! Hefner’s pals feel that after Crystal dumped Hugh, she wised up to the fact that her young boyfriends wouldn’t spoil her like Hef did, and ultimately opted for the money. We’re hoping there were a lot of legal documents drawn up to make sure Crystal doesn’t take advantage of her aging husband.

Who in their right mind would kick Taylor Swift out of their wedding reception? Do the Kennedys have NO manners? Mother of the bride Victoria Gifford Kennedy INVITED Taylor’s boyfriend Conor Kennedy to the wedding and the teenager failed to RSVP until the last minute. So he avoided the sit down dinner and just showed up for the reception later. HE was responsible for Taylor Swift being there and HE should have been asked to leave. We think the Kennedys are awfully snobbish and rude to make such a big deal out of asking Taylor to leave. She’s a sweet polite girl – NOT some drugged up rock star! They were lucky to have her there! We side with Taylor, not this ill-mannered Kennedy family.

Rick Salomon’s friends are saying that he made “A MILLION DOLLARS” from his wedding to Pamela Anderson. Apparently he brokered a deal with a deep pockets magazine for exclusive rights to the event. (We’re guessing OK is the mag, but the wedding story should be on the stands tomorrow.) The magazine provided everything – refreshments, flowers, hair and makeup for the whole wedding party plus wardrobe, hair coloring, and every other detail. Pam gave all the kids – her sons with Tommy Lee, and Rick’s little girls with E.G Daily– iPods as wedding gifts.

We’re a little worried about our favorite singer Amy Winehouse – rumor has it she’s getting married in a hurry. The Sun reports that Amy and her fiancee Blake Fielder-Civil just flew to Miami with six friends to have a secret wedding. Everyone was banned from bringing their cell phones to keep it quiet. The cat popped out of the bag when Blake was photographed having his tux altered in a hurry. We’re not happy about the fact that Blake cheated on Amy when they dated the first time around and then they broke up. Now that she’s got a big hit with “Rehab” he’s in love with her again. This marriage is happening too fast. Couldn’t Kelly Osbourne – or SOMEBODY- have talked some sense into Amy?

Mark Wahlberg is feeling the heat. Just when he thought his life was perfect there’s a wrench in the works. He and his longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham and their two children Ella, 3, and Michael,1, have been living together in the big house he bought in Beverly Hills – in unmarried bliss. Rhea loves the house but it turns out she’s not happy – she wants a wedding ring. Mark is content the way things are. Rhea has talked about moving out with the kids and even dropped a few hints about “palimony” if Mark doesn’t want to get married. Wahlberg is squirming under the pressure and he’s particularly annoyed because many of his friends are saying “Rhea’s right – you SHOULD get married!”
