LEA MICHELE HAS NEVER HEARD OF GRIEVING IN PRIVATE

Ten months after the fact, Lea Michele is STILL using her deceased boyfriend Cory Monteith to stimulate publicity for herself as the grieving girlfriend. It was last July that Cory died of a heroin overdose and his girlfriend Michele has been boo-hooing and doing interviews on their relationship nonstop ever since. Just in case people forgot about her for ten minutes, Lea posted a photo of herself and Cory together online today as a tribute to what would have been his birthday. Enough already!

Drugs Eating Disorder Peaches Geldof

PEACHES GELDOF DIDN’T STARVE HERSELF TO DEATH

Peaches Geldof’s family obviously WISHES that she succumbed to “extreme dieting” as opposed to drugs and that’s why the theory is being floated around. When a 25 year old mother dies of drug abuse, it implies that she didn’t think about her children or husband. Or didn’t care enough to give up drugs. As tragic as Peaches death is, it’s also selfish. If she dieted herself to death, it would seem like it almost wasn’t her fault. Sadly, Peaches was another undereducated and overindulged celebrity kid with little direction in life – except to have a good time. Drugs are the most likely reason for her early death. And the children will suffer.

Christopher Jones Drugs Thanks for the Memories Wild in the Streets

CHRISTOPHER JONES REALLY WAS WILD IN THE STREETS

We’ll never forget our last glimpse of Christopher Jones. After the release of “Wild in the Streets” the James Dean lookalike became wildly popular. The rebellious teen movie connected with the mods and hippies of the late 60’s. He was a legend until, as they say, he “succumbed to the drug culture of Sunset Strip.” We had a shop on Sunset in the early 70’s and customers frequently reported seeing a dazed Jones lurking around the neighborhood in dirty clothes reportedly sleeping on porches or stairwells. One day we saw him drugged up in filthy jeans, barefoot, with a bottle of baby oil in his back pocket. We feared he’d have a short life. Imagine our surprise when his death at age 72 was reported this weekend. At least he managed to pull himself out of that episode and have a life. Hopefully, it was a good one. Doubt Drugs Philip Seymour Hoffman Thanks for the Memories

WE’LL NEVER FORGET PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN BECAUSE OF “DOUBT”

SO sad that Oscar winner Philip Seymour Hoffman died of an apparent heroin overdose. He was certainly one of the finest actors of our time. But his public persona and attitude toward the press was often negative and he seemed angry without reason. He chose his roles carefully and we will never forget his movie ”Doubt.” It should be required viewing – especially for people who think they know it all and are stubborn about their opinions. Hoffman was brilliant as a priest (above) accused of being too friendly with a young boy. Things are not always as they seem. This touching and important movie changed the way we judge things forever. For that, we have to thank Hoffman, at least in part. Sadly, Philip is survived by his three young children and a longtime companion Mimi O’Donnell.

Arrested Drugs Justin Bieber Lil' Za Raid

THE POLICE RAID AT JUSTIN BIEBER’S HOUSE WAS NOT A TOTAL LOSS

At first we were outraged by the raid on Justin Bieber’s home because he is accused of throwing eggs at a neighbor’s house. Eleven patrol cars full of deputies presented a warrant and conducted a felony search at 8AM at Justin’s house in Calabasas, while he was held in the garage. Yes, it seemed like a frivolous use of law enforcement resources. Were they looking for empty egg cartons? Happily, the raid was NOT in vain – they arrested one of Justin’s loser buddies named “Lil’ Za” (above) for felony drug possession. So all’s well that ends well.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN IS FEELING SORRY FOR HERSELF

Khloe Kardashian wants the world to know how much she is suffering due to her husband Lamar Odom’s drug problems and recent DUI, not to mention their shaky marriage. She’s feeling sorry for herself and announced dramatically on Twitter, “As much as I wish I were made of steel …I’m not.” She went on to assure her fans that her husbands troubles won’t break her, although they’re coming close to it. In the middle of all this self-pity she took time to post a glamour shot of herself on Instagram, looking suitably melancholy, proving that when you’re a Kardashian, any time is a good time for self-promotion.

Wow! Even WE were taken by surprise by the news that Lamar Odom not only cheated on his wife Khloe Kardashian, but he’s a secret crack addict! It’s almost too dramatic to be true. TMZ claims crack cocaine is Lamar’s weakness and that he’s disappeared and may be on a binge right now. Radaronline insists Lamar’s problem is Hillbilly Heroin (oxycontin) and prescription drugs. And all this time we thought it was the Kardashians driving him nuts. How this sensational news affects Kris’s talk show renewal remains to be seen.

NICK STAHL’S WIFE ROSE HAS HAD ENOUGH AND WANTS A DIVORCE

“Terminator 3” star Nick Stahl, 33, has been in and out of jail and rehab for the past few years- his last arrest was June 28. He was found in a Hollywood motel room doing meth with several other people at 5 AM. This happened days after he walked out of rehab. Nick is separated from his wife Rose and their little daughter. Rose has been hoping he’ll clean up but she’s also fearful of what he might be doing to get money for drugs. She’s not giving up on him, but now she’s filing for divorce. Drugs Lawsuit Paris Jackson Suicide

DID THE JACKSON TRIAL CAUSE PARIS TO ATTEMPT SUICIDE?

The Jackson family was WARNED it would open up a big can of worms if they proceeded with their lawsuit against AEG Live, charging that the company’s negligence caused Michael Jackson’s death. Many negative things about Michael’s life – his drug addiction and child molestations charges, in particular – would be brought up and examined. NOT a good thing for his surviving children. But the Jackson family was determined to make AEG PAY for Michael’s death. An AEG executive described the lawsuit as “extortion.” Certainly Paris and her brothers were shocked to learn that their beloved father was a raging drug addict. Who knows what their school friends have been whispering. Paris, 15, has grown up without a mother – until recently when she sought a friendship with her birth mother, Debbie Rowe. This greed inspired trial could easily have contributed to Paris’s despair.

EDWARD FURLONG HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS

It’s sad to remember how promising Edward Furlong’s career once was- he was an appealing actor in 1998 when he starred in American History X. Alcoholism and drug addiction – not to mention smoking 3 packs a day – ravaged his once good looks. That and problems with the law and his marriage have sidelined his career and the movies he does go straight to DVD. Now 35, Edward was photographed leaving The Rainbow on Sunset Strip with a woman who looks like his estranged wife Rachael. She also resembles the late Jeff Conaway’s girlfriend.
