Tom Cruise roared out of a party at Chateau Marmont on his motorcycle last night with a mystery woman holding on tight! Judging by her outfit, she arrived with him also. All we know is she has long brown wavy hair, baby blue nails, and a sexy leather jacket. Can anyone out there ID her?

Hot on the heels of the successful ”Behind the Candelabra” Liberace story, we hear that a musical fantasy version of Elton John’s life called “Rocketman” is in the works. Historically however, life stories with the approval of the central figure are never as hot and juicy as those written by someone like Scott Thorson. Elton would like to see sexy actor Tom Hardy play him or perhaps Justin Timberlake. We think Adam Lambert might be the perfect choice. After Elton’s gone, maybe David Furnish will write a tell-all book and THAT’S the movie we’d like to see!

This is the day for 80’s pop star stories. George Michael, who has a history of passing out in cars and DUIs is no longer allowed to drive. Does that keep him safe? No way. According to The Daily Mail, he was just hospitalized after FALLING OUT of the passenger side of a car going 70 mph on a highway in London! George’s friend who was driving, nonchalantly explained that the door was ajar and George was trying to close it properly when he fell out! Luckily, horrified drivers behind him swerved around George, who was lying on the road with a bloody face. He was airlifted to a hospital with a head injury but is said to be recovering nicely.
Cher appeared at LAX dressed in a black leather jacket, hat, and boots. She was closely followed by her 36 year old son Elijah Allman, and his girlfriend. The last we heard Elijah was living part time in Germany, involved in art and music. His life remains something of a mystery since his band Deadsy split up.

For some 80’s nostalgic reason, we never get tired of looking at photos of Billy Idol. So nice to see he’s still got THAT HAIR! He started his US summer tour at The Pearl in Las Vegas Memorial Day weekend, and appears in New York on Friday. Ever since we read about Katy Perry’s new gated compound in Richard Mineards’ column in the Montecito Journal, we’ve been puzzled by her property choice. “California Gurl” Katy bought the 4 acre property on Mulholland Drive from Aileen Getty for 11.5 million dollars. The land has TWO very different houses. One is a 3000 square foot mid-century modern home with walls of glass, and the other house is quite the opposite- a 3900 sq ft Spanish style house. The huge property has two pools and two guest houses. The question is: Which house will Katy live in? And who will occupy the other one? Hmmmm…
It looks like there was never much doubt about Beyonce having star potential- the picture on the left shows the singer when she was just 13, in eighth grade at Welch Middle School. Already a knockout. And just a year later she straightened her hair for her freshman year at Houston School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Unfortunately, she dropped out of school soon after and never graduated because her career took off. (Unfortunately for her education, that is.)
