THE KAULITZ TWINS FROM TOKYO HOTEL ARE BACK – WITH NEW HAIR

Seems like AGES since we’ve seen Bill Kaulitz and his brother Tom from the pop rock German band Tokyo Hotel. The twin brothers – who have very opposite styles – appeared as judges on a German TV talent show similar to American Idol this season. They also have another album coming out this year. Bill And Tom turned up at Bootsy Bellows nightclub this weekend. Since the last time we saw him, Bill has cultivated a blonde pompadour in place of his black Mohawk, and gotten a skeletal bone tattoo on his hand. Tom got rid of his dreads.

Birdman Michael Keaton

FORMER BATMAN MICHAEL KEATON FLIES AGAIN!

New Yorkers must have done a double take at the sight of Michael Keaton floating around the city. Actually he looks slightly nervous as he is lifted on wires in the theater district. Keaton, who once played Batman, is starring with Edward Norton and Emma Stone in the comedy “Birdman,” as an actor famous for playing a superhero who is struggling to put together a Broadway play.

It’s obvious that Jennifer Lopez didn’t spend Memorial Day in Los Angeles. Behind the Candelabra Calvin Klein Liberace Nick Gruber Plastic Surgery Scott Thorson

OBSESSION: WHAT LIBERACE HAD IN COMMON WITH CALVIN KLEIN!

While watching the delicious HBO movie “Behind the Candelabra” we were struck by the similarities between Liberace’s relationship with Scott Thorson, and Calvin Klein’s relationship with Nick Gruber. It’s the SAME story without the mink and rhinestones! Not long ago, Nick was shopping around a book about their time together and we managed to learn many of the details. Both Nick and Scott grew up in foster homes and were young and naïve when they met their celebrity boyfriends-to-be. Both Liberace and Calvin showered gifts upon their lovers- jewelry, designer clothing, and cars. (Which they eventually took BACK.) Liberace and Calvin both talked about “adopting” their boyfriends and they both had large and sometimes unusual, sex appetites. Both urged their lovers to take diet pills and had plastic surgery with them. Both young men eventually felt “trapped” like birds in a gilded cage, and turned to drugs. Drug use got both boyfriends kicked out and left stranded. Nick, who also claims to be bisexual, ALMOST followed in Scott’s footsteps and published his book, but last we heard he and Calvin were back together and on vacation.

JADEN SMITH WANTS TO GO NIGHTCLUBBING WITH SELENA GOMEZ- BUT HE’S ONLY 14!

Jaden Smith, 14, left all his zany colorful clothes back at the hotel and dressed himself up like an older man to go out with Selena Gomez, 20, in London.(Don’t know WHAT’S going on with her hair!) The confident pair, along with bodyguards, attempted to enter the Boujis club but alas! They were turned away at the door. Apparently fourteen year olds, no matter how conservatively dressed they are, simply aren’t allowed into bars in London.

ROMAN POLANSKI HAS A REAL PROBLEM WITH WOMEN

As if Roman Polanski weren’t revolting enough – he is now in Cannes declaring that equality for women is “purely idiotic.” He goes on to say that the birth control pill “masculinizes women and chases away romance.”(THIS from a man who admitted to having unlawful sex with a 13 year old minor!) Like some old curmudgeon he smugly implies that men won’t open doors or buy flowers for women who are equal. As if equal pay and rights have ANYTHING to do with romance or manners! Batman Behind the Candelabra Liberace Los Angeles

BACK IN TV HISTORY, LIBERACE ATTEMPTED TO OUTSMART BATMAN!

Here’s something to whet your appetite for the Liberace HBO movie “Behind the Candelabra” premiering this weekend. Our brainy friend Chris Nichols, who writes the Ask Chris column (among other things) for Los Angeles Magazine, sent us this hilarious campy 1966 episode of Batman in which Liberace plays twin piano playing villains, and one seems to be a LOT straighter than the other. You’ll also see a trio of gorgeous girl criminals who look very familiar (is the brunette Edy Williams?) Let us know if you figure out who they are…

It’s definitely ON. Johnny Depp and his Rum Diary costar Amber Heard were seen last month at a Rolling Stones concert and this week they had dinner with two of the Stones! Johnny, 49, and Amber, 27, and Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood dined together at Ago restaurant in West Hollywood. There has been much speculation about whether Johnny and Amber are, indeed, a couple, but it looks like they are.

Dr Robert Gerner Engaged Janice Dickinson

THIS IS THE MAN DESTINED TO SAVE JANICE DICKINSON FROM FINANCIAL DISASTER

Janice, 58, became engaged to ten years older Dr Robert Gerner in January, and recently declared bankruptcy to prepare for the marriage. (presumably she doesn’t want her husband to assume all her debts.) The lucky guy is Dr Robert Gerner, an established pharmacologist who is described as very talented, but also fast and loose with his prescription pad. According to his mentally troubled patients, he charges $185 in cash for quick twenty minute sessions and sends them home with a fistful of prescriptions. Adderall and sleeping pills are a common combination. Interesting historical fact: Gerner was one of the docs investigated in the overdose death of Jerry Bruckheimer’s former partner, producer Don Simpson, who perished with 21 drugs in his system in 1996. Janice says it was love at first sight for her and Gerner. We wonder what being married to Janice will do for his career.
