THIS is how Lady Gaga walked out of a business meeting in New York! We are NOT kidding! She managed to walk down the bumpy sidewalk unaided in those 12 inch platform shoes and she didn’t even wobble. Usually when we see her wearing this risky footwear she’s holding the arm of at least one man at some glamorous event. Can you imagine what would happen if she attempted to walk her two dogs wearing these shoes? This woman is not adverse to taking chances…

MARIAH CAREY AND HER HAZARDOUS HIGH HEELS

We are eternally amused by Mariah Carey’s fixation for wearing dangerously high heels. Fueled by her never-ending desire to appear taller, Mariah is forced to hire a man who’s most important job is making sure that wobbly Mariah doesn’t stumble or fall in public. Mariah took her boyfriend Brian Tanaka and her kids Moroccan and Monroe to LA’s Tao restaurant, but the man she’s holding onto is not Brian – it’s her hired helper. Occasionally he lets go of her and she stands still and strikes a pose for paparazzi, but she grabs him again before taking a step alone. When Mariah is seated inside the restaurant next to Brian, the guy makes himself scarce.

Designer Givenchy High Heels Kanye West Off-White Yeezy

IS KANYE WEST STILL A FASHION DESIGNER?

Kanye West oozes self confidence when it comes to his “artistic talents,” but we haven’t seen any new fashion collections lately. Kanye’s monochromatic collections a few years ago were met with considerable interest and admiration, although they had more than a passing resemblance to the designs of Givenchy’s Riccardo Tischi and Off White’s Virgil Abloh. Maybe those “comparisons” discouraged Kanye, because for the past few years he’s been concentrating on Adidas sneakers. We WERE surprised to see Kanye’s label on a collection of high heels (?) – they looked a LOT like what Kim Kardashian already has in her closet. Meanwhile, self-proclaimed designer Kanye is only seen in hoodies and baggy sweats these days – whatever the weather or the occasion. (Above, Kanye arrived for a party at Craig’s restaurant)

LADY GAGA WANTS YOU TO KNOW SHE’S BACK IN ACTION

When it comes to wearing sky-high platform heels, Lady Gaga leaves everyone else in the dust. Especially Mariah Carey, who needs TWO men – one on each side to hold her up – when she wears much lower heels. (Gaga had that tall guy just in case she lost her balance, but she never did.) For the past week Gaga has been a paparazzi magnet in New York by dressing to kill every day when she leaves for the recording studio. Fans are delighted. She’s been under the radar for months due to her fibromyalgia problems and spending time with her new fiancée, agent Christian Carino. Apparently Gaga realized she’s been out of the public eye for too long – hence the fashion show.

SALMA HAYEK IS NOT AFRAID OF HEIGHTS

Mariah Carey could learn a thing or two from Salma Hayek. Salma turned up dressed to kill for the Giambattista Valli fashion presentation in Paris – she’s obliged to look fabulous because she married into a fashion empire. We can’t take our eyes off her SHOES – the highest heels we’ve seen since Lady Gaga. To her credit, 5’2” Salma can actually walk unassisted in these stilettos – Mariah needs two men to hold her up. She did sit down at the earliest opportunity, however.

Mariah Carey is accustomed to having Nick Cannon to lean on when she’s trying not to fall down in her absurdly high heels but she had to get someone else for this Christmas visit to Aspen. Mariah looks really pretty – but what world is she living in? She went to visit her godmother Joan Boyce’s jewelry store in Aspen wearing a long black gown and high heels. Did she forget about the snow?

Mariah Carey tweeted this hospital photo to garner some sympathy from fans after she dislocated her shoulder while filming a video. What she DOESN’T want you to know is exactly what happened. She wasn’t doing some sort of stunt or complicated dance step – she simply fell off her ridiculously high heels! When she’s in public wearing her platform stilettos Mariah always has a man on either side of her to keep her from falling. In the video she actually had to stand alone without help – she lost her balance and succumbed to the height of her heels and took a nasty fall. Embarrassing and painful.

Madonna HATES to admit she needs help with anything, but she had no choice when she wore her highest heels to run errands in the meatpacking district of New York. She was teetering dangerously on the cobblestone and uneven sidewalks and had to hold onto both guys and cars to get around.

It takes three men to get Mariah Carey down the stairs safely in her high heels. Nick Cannon, who’s holding up the rear, hosted an event to raise money for Project Canvas, a creative arts program that Nick and Mariah founded to “nurture optimism among youths.” Besides the Cannons, celebrities including Ellen DeGeneres, Mr Brainwash, and Cee Lo Green, designed sneakers that were auctioned off to raise money. Nick wore his sneakers but Mariah refused.
