THE KARDASHIANS BELIEVE THE WORLD REVOLVES AROUND THEM

Kim Kardashian and her family just don’t seem to care about making a good impression on her bridegroom Kris Humphries’ family. Not only was the Humphries family barely seen in the Kardashian wedding extravaganza show, but the Kardashians failed to arrange wedding transportation for the groom’s family. According to our pal and fellow gossip CJ at the Star Tribune, Kim was heard whining about Kris’s “hickish” Minnesota hometown and she snidely criticized the decor at Kris’s Minnetonka home – which HIS MOTHER had decorated. And Khloe, of all people, compared Kris to Frankenstein. Why the Kardashians have so little regard for the Humphries is not known, but it doesn’t bode well for this marriage – Kris is very close to his family.

RYAN O’NEAL: “IT’S OPRAH’S FAULT THAT TATUM AND I DON’T SPEAK!”

How funny is it that Ryan “pass the buck” O’Neal blames Oprah for widening the rift in his family. Ryan, 70, and his estranged daughter Tatum, 47, filmed eight episodes of their reality show all about their attempts to reconcile after ten years of estrangement for the Oprah Winfrey Network. We have to give Tatum a lot of credit for even attempting to get along with her impossible father. The series featured therapy sessions including father and daughter but after it wrapped they were no longer speaking at all. Ryan blames not his own history as a monstrous father, but Oprah’s prying series. We think Tatum is better off without him.

FAMILY VACATION FOR MADONNA AND BRAHIM ZAIBAT

Madonna is bending over backwards to please the family of her young boyfriend Brahim Zaibat,24. She’s determined to win over Brahim’s mother Patricia Vidal, 45, who is eight years younger than Madonna is. Madonna made a huge mistake awhile back when she insisted that Brahim attend Kabbalah meetings with her. Since he and his family are Muslim, he refused, and a problem developed but Madonna got over it. She invited Brahim’s mother and five of his cousins for a week’s vacation at the ultra-posh Hotel Du Cap in the South of France. Suites there start at around three thousand dollars a night. Everything was on Madonna and the two families got to know each other and lived it up like millionaires before Madonna moved on to the Venice Film Festival. Needless to say, she won them over.

JASON PRIESTLEY IS STILL IN THE 90210 ZIP CODE

If we had walked right into Jason Priestley (the original Beverly Hills 90210) and his family at the Farmer’s Market Sunday, we don’t think we would have recognized him. A little facial hair and a baseball cap was all he needed. As you may recall, Jason survived a nearly fatal car racing accident in which he was driving 182 MPH. After many surgeries his looks are restored and besides acting he owns a car racing team. Above, Jason is with his wife Naomi, and his children Ava, 4, and Dashiell, 2, who are obviously delighted with their balloons.

The Presleys have ARRIVED in London! Several generations of Priscilla Presley’s family decided to take a European vacation together. Priscilla, 66, brought her mother Anna, 85, along with Lisa Marie, 43, and her kids Ben, 19, and model Riley, 21. Mysterious aspiring musician Ben is the one we rarely see, and he definitely has some Presley characteristics.

Halle Berry’s problems with men started early, when she recalls her father as a violent alcoholic who beat her mother. Jerome Berry left the family in Cleveland when Halle was four. Halle had half siblings from her father’s previous marriage, but eventually lost touch with them and Jerome’s other relatives. Halle refused to visit her father, a hospital porter, when he lay dying from Parkinson’s disease a few years ago. Now her half sister Renee Berry says that Halle has been totally estranged from the black side of her family for YEARS, in spite of their attempts to contact her. Odd, for a woman who considers herself and her baby black.

CARRIE FISHER’S “WISHFUL DRINKING” ON HBO – WORTH STAYING HOME FOR

For decades we’ve been writing gossip about Carrie Fisher, who gained fame playing Star Wars Princess Leia, and before that we remember READING gossip about her parents Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher and the Elizabeth Taylor love triangle. Carrie married a musician, Paul Simon, and an agent, Bryan Lourd, who decided he was gay. All the while Carrie was battling substance abuse and manic depression. She says she still gets a refined version of electroshock therapy on a regular basis to keep herself sane! Her life story and cast of characters is fascinating and hilarious. Debbie Reynolds’ daughter turned out to be a smart and funny writer and her latest book Wishful Drinking has evolved into a one-woman show. And what a show it is. World of Wonder did a brilliant job of producing a documentary on Carrie’s show for HBO that airs this Sunday, December 12. Don’t miss it – it’s the next best thing to seeing her in person and you’ll love the way she has fun with all her family dramas. Carrie Fisher may be damaged goods, but she is indeed, a treasure.
