Justin Bieber is frantic to escape his dopey teen idol popstar image, so he’s trying to get close to young rappers like Lil’ Twist and Lil’ Za and dressing in the same baggy pants they do. Of course, he has to lure them with promises of driving his Ferrari (they’ve both been ticketed while behind the wheel) and appears to get high with them. (Blunts and cough syrup have turned up in photos of the guys together.) Justin wants a cooler hip hop image. The rappers enjoy Justin’s generosity and maybe they access some of his groupies, but are they real friends?

Bobby Brown has always been wrongly blamed for introducing Whitney Houston to drugs and his denials have finally been validated. Whitney fans blamed Bobby for her drug-ravaged voice and declining career and eventual death. Finally, Whitney’s older brother Michael has confessed that HE was actually the one who introduced Whitney to drugs and eventually crack cocaine, in the 80’s and she took to it like a duck to water. When Bobby came along, Whitney was delighted to find someone willing to join her in partying with drugs so they had a lot in common. But Whitney was no innocent child before she met Bobby – she was an experienced drug abuser. And it’s about time Bobby was cleared of those accusations.

SHERYL CROWE KNEW WHAT LANCE ARMSTRONG WAS DOING

OF COURSE Sheryl Crowe knew about Lance Armstrong’s illicit drug-taking. She was with him for nearly three years during which he prepared for and participated in two Tours. There’s no way she didn’t catch on to his tricks. No matter how secretive he was, she could not have avoided figuring it all out. Whether they discussed it is another matter. Their split and canceled engagement when she got cancer was not pretty, with just about everyone siding with Sheryl. We’re betting that when federal agents interviewed her about his drug use in 2011 that she told the truth. At least we hope she did.

We hope the arrogant Lance Armstrong doesn’t think he’s doing some wonderful thing by finally confessing to Oprah that he doped when he won those seven Tour de France titles, that have since been taken away. Years of outright lying and belittling and threatening people around him – and maybe even blackmailing- are not easily erased. The only reason he’s talking now is because he MIGHT lift his lifetime ban from sports. In order to do that, he’ll have to reveal HOW he got around the tests and WHO helped him. That means he’ll probably lose the few friends he has left. We look forward to seeing him squirm.

SNOOP DOGG MAKES PISTACHIO NUTS SEEM ILLEGAL

So far, Snoop Dogg’s (or is it Lion?) ad for Paramount Farms pistachios has been the most controversial and successful. Censors were so outraged by his drug-implied ad (he pours pistachios out of a pill bottle and calls it “habitual”) that it was banned by the networks. Snoop’s “Get crackin”” ad is limited to cable and online. Being banned is probably the best thing that could happen – his ads are more successful than the ones done by Snooki, The Village People, and Homer Simpson for the same pistachio campaign.

CAMERON DOUGLAS GOT ROUGHED UP IN PRISON

Michael Douglas will not be gratified to hear that his son Cameron, 34, was beaten up while serving his ten year stretch in prison for dealing crystal meth and smuggling drugs into jail. According to the NY Post, word got out that he testified against his drug suppliers and they taught him a jailhouse lesson. Cameron ended up with a broken leg. Also alarming is the fact that in order to fit in better with his cellmates. Cameron has been getting gangster style jailhouse tattoos. He’s been working as a weekend orderly in a housing unit, earning $1.65 a month.

Charlie Sheen had better take a closer look at his drug dealers and call girls. It appears that one of them is leaking detailed information to RadarOnline about his drug and call girl habits. It’s not at all surprising if Charlie has lapsed back into his old bad habits – cocaine, crack, call girls, and obsessive porn-watching. Not to mention throwing money around. His series, Anger Management, has been on hiatus and that’s when Charlie usually goes off the rails. Of course there’s always a chance that Charlie really DOES have an ear infection…

Kate Moss, 38, did an awful lot of complaining in her interview with Vanity Fair. She made it sound like being a supermodel is a huge headache and the job is almost unbearable. Considering she’s a petite 5’7” and managed to make it to the top of the modeling biz, one would think she’d be surprised and delighted. She seems to remember the physically trying times but not the enormous paychecks and perks. She also dismisses her party reputation and insists she really didn’t have all that much fun. When Kate was with Johnny Depp they seemed to be really in love (and got engaged) but she brought out a temperamental side to him and he trashed a NY hotel room. It was out of character for him. It seemed to be a passionate, drug fueled romance. Kate doesn’t say WHY she left Johnny but admits she cried over him for six years. She really doesn’t seem like a happy girl – and she SHOULD be. What a life she’s had!

Farrah Fawcett’s drug addicted son Redmond, 27, just out of court ordered rehab for approximately the dozenth time and he’s free to go back home – wherever that is. Hopefully it’s nowhere near his father Ryan O’Neal who has been mixed up in his drug escapades in the past. While Redmond was locked up he managed to do a good deed by paying $100,000 for his half-sister Tatum’s rehab. Redmond doesn’t have his mother’s trademark smile – his abused looking teeth more closely resemble those of Charlie Sheen. Drugs.

Russell Brand noticed an apparently homeless and shirtless man in the alley behind his yoga class, and stopped to give him a bottle of water. He introduced himself to the guy who seemed to be high as a kite on SOMETHING and had been rolling around in a dirty parking space. They had a chat and Russell talked the man into putting his shirt on and accompanying him to an AA meeting. The guy got into Russell’s Range Rover and they drove off.
