HILARY DUFF: WATCH OUT FOR YOUR FRIENDS!

Is Hilary Duff allowing herself to be pulled into Scientology? Since splitting with her husband of 3 years, Mike Comrie, Hilary has been spending a lot of time with Alanna Masterson – she and her brother Danny are lifelong Scientologists. (Alanna and Danny’s father has left the church and thinks they are in way too deep and wasting their money.) When Hilary was hanging with Alanna at Coachella, she was seen with a small temporary tattoo on her arm that resembled Scientology symbols. Scientologists prefer the company of OTHER Scientologists and try to recruit anybody who’s not one. Hopefully, Hilary, 26, is too smart to be drawn in the questionable organization.

AMATEUR PHOTOSHOPPERS ASSAULT MARIAH CAREY

We’ve seen some artistic photo-shopping and we’ve seen some cheezy photo-shopping and this has to be the cheeziest EVER! Sometimes, even celebrities are not in ideal shape to be modeling skimpy lingerie. Mariah Carey has not been looking her slimmest for the past few months – in fact a trench coat seems to be her best friend. It happens to all of us. This magazine called Wonderland wanted Mariah on the cover in underwear and their determination is admirable. But they cut her out like a paper doll to pare off any excess heft. And it looks it.

KIM KARDASHIAN: DENIM IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!

Let’s face it, some people just shouldn’t wear jeans. Especially skin tight jeans. Kim Kardashian is in Paris, of all places, wearing this denim outfit and her body seems to be screaming “Let Me OUT!!!” She sure looks uncomfortable (will she be able to sit down and eat lunch or will that zipper explode?) Maybe she bought the wrong size- or maybe Kim is one of those people who just shouldn’t wear jeans…

WHERE DO “KEN” AND “BARBIE” GET THEIR MONEY FROM?

Obviously we don’t watch enough daytime TV because this guy is a regular. We’ve seen women trying to be real life Barbie dolls, but there’s only one guy we know of who wants to look like a Ken doll. Justin Jedica from New York, has spent $100,000 on surgical procedures to achieve the perfect Ken look. He started with five nose jobs and lip enhancement and moved on to abdominal implants, and silicone implants in his pecs, biceps, triceps, buttocks, and calves. Imagine all that fake stuff floating around in his body! He started his quest at 19 and he’s now in his thirties and has no intention of stopping. Justin says his surgery is an extension of his creativity. What we want to know is where do these people get all this MONEY? And who takes care of them when they’re recovering? How do they maintain this lifestyle?

TAYLOR SWIFT LOOKS READY FOR THE CATWALK

Taylor Swift is still shopping in New York and it looks like she’s buying all the right things. Every day she leaves her apartment dressed in another totally different, but adorable outfit. She does have a stylist for special events, but we judge celebrities on how they dress themselves when they’re not working. Taylor has a creative imagination and she knows what looks good on her. She’s becoming a fashion icon.

HEY RIHANNA, WHAT HAPPENED TO DRAKE?

No complaints about Rihanna appearing on a Vogue cover – in two dazzling versions! But what WE want to know is: What’s going on with Drake? For awhile it looked like Rihanna and Drake were evolving into a bigtime romance. They spent quality time together in Europe but haven’t been seen together lately. We do think Drake would be an ideal partner for Rihanna – he’s got talent, looks, brains, and better manners than most of the guys she sees.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND AND HIS KINKY BOOTS

Sure, he LOOKS dapper, but Kiefer Sutherland suffers from “old boot syndrome.” The actor is nicely dressed for a stroll in New York wearing a dark coat and jaunty blue scarf, but when you look at his feet, it’s another story. Colin Farrell is another actor with the same idiosyncratic condition. Both guys have a favorite old pair of broken-in boots they simply cannot part with. Colin’s are his “lucky boots’ and he’s superstitious. Kiefer’s are comfortable and the heel height is just right. They both enjoy the fact that their boots are beat up and distressed looking. New and shiny is simply not as cool. We don’t know of any women with this disorder.

MICHAEL DOUGLAS AND CATHERINE ZETA-JONES HOLD HANDS WHEN YOU’RE NOT LOOKING, TOO

It’s a good sign that Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are still holding hands, even if it is on the red carpet at the Chaplin Award Gala in New York. They spent a lot of time thinking about their marriage and it’s likely that Michael is determined to make it work, if Catherine is willing. Michael has more to lose if they split, (the kids, for one thing) so he’s probably acting like the perfect husband these days. Insiders say they really ARE getting along now. Together they are a powerful celebrity couple – apart, not so much.

Jonah Hill works out like a madman in the gym, but afterward he goes out and treats himself! He’s pictured here tucking into a jumbo frozen yogurt dessert while his friend enjoys a regular size treat. Jonah lost 40 pounds on a sushi diet before he appeared in Moneyball with Brad Pitt, and says when he’s thinner he’s “taken more seriously as an actor.” Sweets appear to be his downfall.

HEY BIG SPENDER! MARIAH CAREY TRAVELS IN STYLE

Frankly, we were impressed to hear that Mariah Carey reserved the ENTIRE first class cabin on a British Airways flight to the Cannes Film Festival next month. (Cost: $118,000) Apparently Nick Cannon, the twins, nannies, bodyguards, assistants, and MAYBE hairdressers, stylists, makeup artists etc will be along for the ride. The British First Class cabins seem to offer a LOT of privacy with all those separate pods that turn into beds. What fun to have a whole group of friends together in one cabin for the trip! Mariah knows how to LIVE! Nick Cannon will never be able to give this up.
