We’ve all heard the story that Whitney Houston was buried wearing $800,000 worth of jewelry and certainly we wondered WHY her family would do such a thing – AND let the information leak out. Nightmarish visions of grave robbers couldn’t help but dance in our heads. According to recent rumors, the family has decided it’s not practical to have 24 hr guards protecting Whitney’s grave, so they plan to encase her casket in cement to discourage vandals. All this sounds like a good case for cremation, to us.

Don’t believe a word of this. First of all we have our doubts about Michael’s sexual proclivities – his crushes on women were usually platonic. And this crackpot Fiddes is also claiming to be Blanket’s sperm donor. Nothing adds up. In 1991, Whitney was hot and heavy with Bobby Brown and married him a year later. And in 1991, Matt Fiddes was 12 years old! It turns out he only did a little security work for Michael when he visited England in the 2000’s. We rest our case.

According to Deadline.com, Tyler Perry offered her a recurring role on his TBS comedy series “For Better Or Worse.” Bobbi has been hoping for an acting career and this is her big break. It might inspire her to get her life together. At the very least, it will keep her busy and distracted and maybe out of trouble. We’re thinking Tyler will make sure that someone on the set keeps an eye on her – he seems like a great guy.

We certainly weren’t surprised to hear that Bobby Brown was arrested for a probable DUI at 12:20 PM today in Reseda, California. Readers may recall, we had an encounter with Bobby in a Beverly Hills elevator around a month ago and at 12:30 in the afternoon he REEKED of alcohol. (He was in a very good mood also) Not a lot of celebrities drink that early in the day but Bobby and Whitney both had a serious drinking problem that took a back seat to drug abuse. Driving drunk AND talking on the phone is a lethal combination and we’re glad he’s off the road.

She’s in a highly vulnerable and lonely state now and it wouldn’t be difficult to take advantage of her.

Rihanna has heard all the speculation about WHO should star in the Whitney Houston story ( Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Halle Berry etc) and she’s taking steps to buy the rights of Whitney’s life for herself. She is already negotiating with Bobbi Kristina’s people and Whitney’s mom Cissy Houston because she wants to seal the deal before anyone else does. But is she really the right person to play Whitney? She has limited acting experience and this will be a dramatic role. And who will be cast to play Bobby Brown? Not Chris Brown, we hope.

The Whitney Houston death photo scandal stirred up by the National Enquirer appears to be winding down. In spite of a call for a boycott, the issue sold very well for the tabloid, so they had no regrets. The people who run the funeral home denied involvement and pointed out that the cell phone photo was taken during a viewing, not the actual funeral. The strangest turn of all came when Whitney’s family asked the POLICE to investigate and find out who took the picture. As if the police could or would make such an effort! A private detective MIGHT nail the culprit who sold the photo, but maybe the family doesn’t REALLY want to know at this point. Accusing a relative or friend of Whitney would only prolong the sadness.
