HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW

Another whirlwind political week with the news that President Joe Biden was ending his campaign and all but anointed his successor, Vice President Kamala Harris. We are hearing that Hollywood was starting to abandon Joe after that scathing op-ed by George Clooney, but is now gearing up for the biggest star studded fundraiser EVER, to boost Kamala’s financial war chest. The details are still being sorted out, but according to my source it’s going to rival with Academy Awards with A-listers willing to contribute a minimum of $100,000 for an invite. We will share more details as we hear them.

Speaking of Joe Biden, now that he’s bowing out of the race and set to retire in January once his presidency is over, we just heard he’s planning a major change. Although Joe has called Delaware his home for most of his life, he wants to be closer to his California based son Hunter, so he’s already working with a top LA based realtor looking at suitable homes in the LA area. My source says that he wants to be on or near a beach and security is one of the concerns so he’s looking at gated waterfront properties from Orange County up through Santa Barbara.

Jennifer Aniston made headlines after she took to social media in a heartfelt post about women who can’t bear children after misogynistic comments from vice presidential candidate JD Vance recently resurfaced. Just heard from a well placed source that Jen, who usually stays away from the nastiness of politics, is now going all in for Kamala Harris and will soon appear alongside her at a political rally focusing on women’s reproductive rights.

Speaking of JD Vance, there are some rumblings that Donald Trump regrets listing to his son, Don Junior, who was pushing for Vance to be selected as the running mate. Our spot-on political source reports that there’s a plan being talked about to have Vance bow out of the campaign and claim a personal family matter is the reason. My source insists that Trump completely regrets choosing Vance, but if he decides not to replace him, you can expect to hear a lot less of JD on the campaign trial. As my source put it, Trump didn’t trust his instincts and was swayed by his son and now has serious second thoughts.

Enough politics -back to entertainment. Celine Dion made headlines for two things – performing at the Olympics and signing up for a residency at Resorts World in Las Vegas. What DIDN’T come out though, is what we just heard. She’s also recording a new album which will drop around the same time she kicks off her residency in Sin City.

And finally, as we exclusively reported, Leah Remini finally sold her Studio City, California home and we just heard she’s now looking for a new home in the LA Valley, but wants one in a guard gated community. Our source explains that Leah is still be hounded by her former pals in Scientology so that’s why she’s hypersensitive to make sure her new home has ample armed security guards.

Tom Cruise is moving from city to city promoting Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning at premiers and he is always surrounded by what looks like dozens of burly security guys. Tom likes to chat with fans so he needs to be WATCHED. Are they Scientologists guarding him? Certainly the “church” would have a LOT to lose if something happened to Tom. Last year, Tom started getting serious threats after he fired a disgruntled stunt producer from the set. The angry guy sued Tom, director Christopher McQuarrie, and Paramount, and started a rumor that Tom’s films are financed by Russian oligarchs. Judging by the number of guards around him, Tom is still worried about SOMETHING…

According to a real estate insider, that’s one of the main reasons they’ve yet to purchase their new dream house. “She wants gates and security, but Ben prefers low-key luxury.”

My Fifteen Days with Kanye Security

MY 15 DAYS WITH KANYE

It had to happen. In January a documentary is set to be released called “My Fifteen Days with Kanye.” A former security guard of Kanye and Kim is talking about the time he spent with them, and it sounds quite entertaining. The 15 days include time spent at NY Fashion Week, The Met Gala, and the Waldorf Astoria. Steve Stanulis, (top photo) a nice looking guy who previously worked for 8 years as an NYPD cop by day and a Chippendales dancer at night, was hired by Kanye as a security guard in May, 2020. He says he witnessed “strange behavior” such as Kanye having a tantrum when someone wore a print shirt near him, yelling “prints are distracting to me artistically!” He got the shirt guy fired. Steve says he never saw any affection between Kim and Kanye. After two weeks and many observations, Steve was fired when Kanye accused him of flirting with Kim. In their big interview with Oprah, we were surprised when Prince Harry and Meghan talked about how upsetting it was that the Royals had cut off their security, and now they had to pay for their own. In fact, Harry added that they had never thought about making deals with Netflix and Spotify until they realized how much they would have to pay for their own security. Chris Gardner at The Hollywood Reporter researched exactly what the cost might be for the runaway royals, and we were SHOCKED. It could easily be 10 million dollars a year, depending on their lifestyle! That’s what Facebook pays to protect Mark Zuckerberg and his family – of course they probably get a lot more threats. But Oprah’s interview stirred up plenty of divisive opinions about Harry and Meghan, so they probably DO need expensive protection.

CHER: DO ACTIONS STILL SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS?

Cher is on her Here We Go Again tour in London, but she’s keeping tabs on the US news. She offered to pay legal expenses for the Wisconsin school district security guard who was fired under outrageous circumstances. The black guard repeated the n-word when asking a student to stop calling him the same slur! The school touts the fact that they have a “zero tolerance policy” and the guard was terminated. Negative publicity inspired the school board to “review their policy,” but this entire n-word situation is getting out of hand…

This photo of Elizabeth Hurley (red dress) leaving Annabel’s legendary club in London caught our eye, not because of the lamp in her hand (a gift from the club manager perhaps?) but the DOORMEN leading her out. We have never seen security guards, bouncers, doormen – whatever you want to call them – dressed in anything but tight, black clothing to show off their muscles. These delightful flowery print suits are a revelation. No matter how fierce their faces are, the clothing is amusing. Leave it to the Brits to find humor in doorman apparel. Remember, some famous guys have been bouncers in NY – Dolph Lundgren at Limelight, and Vin Diesel at The Tunnel.

The flashy boxing champ was seen arriving at The Staples Center for a Lakers game with one of his fleet of jumbo bodyguards. His biggest guard is 7’1” and over 400 pounds – not sure if this is that one. Floyd is 5’8” and 150 pounds. Floyd needs his security guards because he often carries around a million dollars IN CASH. After all, he’s the highest paid athlete in the world and worth 340 million. He loves to shop and buys so many shoes he often wears them only once and leaves them for hotel staffers. When he flies in his private jet, his security guys fly in a separate private jet so they won’t take up too much space.

We used to see a lot of him, but lately a Kanye West sighting is a rare thing. The National Enquirer insists that Kanye has taken to wearing a bullet proof vest when he leaves home because he feels like a target. He HAS increased security since Kim was robbed but he is staying out of the limelight. This weekend he launched his new Adidas Yeezy collection which attracted quite a crowd of shoppers – but no Kanye. One thing for sure – Kim is NOT wearing a bullet proof vest….
