THEIR KIDS BROUGHT BEN AND JEN TOGETHER FOR LUNCH

 Ben Affleck’s son Samuel  and Jennifer Lopez shared a huge hug in front of the Beverly Hills Hotel this weekend.  Loyal readers shouldn’t be surprised that Jennifer  had lunch with Ben Affleck and four of their combined five kids yesterday at the hotel. As we’ve been reporting, Ben and Jen’s children have formed a strong bond similar to The Brady Bunch. My inside source reveals it was the KIDS who arranged the joint lunch with Ben and Jen, as they are still hoping that the estranged couple can work out their differences and stay together. My source also reveals that you can expect to see more of Ben and John hanging out in the near future – all thanks to THE KIDS!

If you don’t believe Hollywood is a very small place, your opinion might change after you read this item. Jennifer Lopez has been looking for a house to buy since she filed for divorce from Ben Affleck. She often brings her mother along (above) to look at homes with her. It so happens, one of the houses she’s interested in belongs to one of Ben’s ex-girlfriends, Gwyneth Paltrow! The Goop founder is selling her $30 million Brentwood estate since she moved to Montecito. And get this… Gwyneth’s house is just a few steps away from the home Ben is now renting. As we told you, Hollywood is a small place – so if J.Lo buys Gwen’s house, she’ll be neighbors with Ben.

BEN AFFLECK IS FED UP WITH NEGATIVE PUBLICITY

Jennifer Lopez’s seemingly friendly split from Ben Affleck just might NOT be as amicable as they first tried to spin out. Over the last few days, various stories have been leaked to twist the narrative in Jen’s favor, including reports that it was Ben’s idea to do the Netflix documentary on their romance, another about his mercurial mood swings, and most recently, a report that Ben hasn’t seen Jen’s twins since the split. According to my source, Ben is getting fed up with the negative press and asked Jen to instruct her PR people to cool it. He doesn’t want to start releasing negative stories about HER, but if the stories about him continue, he might change his mind…

By the time you read this, Robert F Kennedy Jr. may have already ended his laughable presidential campaign and endorsed Donald Trump. However, we heard that it just might be too much for his wife, actress Cheryl Hines. While Cheryl stood by her man during his never gonna win campaign, she isn’t a fan of Trump and realizes her standing in Hollywood will be jeopardized if her husband endorses him. According to my source, there’s only so much Cheryl can stomach, and she’s been pleading with her husband NOT to endorse Trump. If he does though, my source predicts their marriage will suffer.

Jennifer Lopez made the news with her surprise filing for divorce, catching Ben Affleck and the rest of the world off guard. Their marriage is now seemingly kaput, but Jennifer still plans on buying a house with enough bedrooms for her twins and Ben’s three kids. The children have formed quite the bond with one insider is comparing it to the Brady Bunch. We hear that Jen intends to keep that family unit together even once she’s officially divorced from Ben.

Speaking of Jennifer Lopez, we also heard that IF the marital house that she shared with Ben Affleck sells before she buys a new place, she has an open invitation to stay with Ben’s other ex-wife, Jennifer Garner! The Jens became friends over the past few years (we can only IMAGINE them gossiping about how challenging it was to be married to Ben) and as we all now know their kids are all very close. Jen G. has more than enough room for J.Lo and the twins so don’t be surprised if they wind up as temporary roomies.

Of course the biggest news was the Democratic National Convention, with Vice President Kamala Harris accepting her party’s nomination for President! (We couldn’t be more DELIGHTED at the prospect of her in the White House), but politics aside, we just heard that while she didn’t endorse her at the convention, Taylor Swift is gearing up for a big splashy endorsement video and social media blitz. Taylor and her handlers were livid that Donald Trump posted something on his faltering truth social that claimed Taylor had endorsed him. The AI generated post was the final straw for Taylor and now she’s getting ready to go big for Kamala.

Finally, President Joe Biden was the hero who saved democracy by abandoning his campaign and handing the reigns over to Kamala. Biden hightailed it out of the DNC hours after his riveting speech, and headed to Montecito, California for a vacation. We heard though that it wasn’t all rest and relaxation. Loyal readers will remember WE TOLD YA that Biden planned on relocating to California once his Presidency was over, and during his time in Montecito he privately toured a few available homes. According to our source, a Democratic billionaire donor is planning to buy the property and let Biden and Jill have the exclusive rights to it until they both pass away.

DUNKIN’ DONUTS MOURNS THE SPLIT OF BEN AND JEN

Casualties are common in divorces and Jennifer Lopez’s split from Ben Affleck is no different. Although Jen and Ben have vowed to keep it friendly specifically for the sake of their kids (who have formed bonds) the unexpected victim in this divorce is Dunkin Donuts! Ben and Jen’s 2024 Super Bowl commercial for the donut chain was a HUGE success and the company quickly green-lit a follow up spot for the 2025 game. Keep in mind, these commercials can be complicated productions and filmed months and months in advance. The then happily married couple were set to make MILLIONS for another 60-second spot but the plans were scrapped days after J.Lo officially filed for divorced. My source says the Dunkin executives were closely following the state of the marriage and were rooting for a reconciliation since they had big plans for the follow up ad campaign and marketing blitz. Now they’re not even sure if they want to proceed with Ben alone, since it just seems depressing to some of them.

The biggest news of the week was Kamala Harris choosing Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her vice presidential running mate. We couldn’t wait to share this interesting tidbit. As part of her selection process Kamala challenged each of her potential running mates to a game of Scrabble (she’s a pro at it and very competitive ) and she was most impressed with Tim’s vocabulary (he is a former teacher, after all). While that wasn’t the sole factor in decision making, my Washington D.C. source says it certainly didn’t hurt Tim’s chances of landing the coveted spot.

Blake Shelton made news with his upcoming Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace and here’s what we know. Blake’s better half, Gwen Stefani is not only planning to stay with him in Vegas when he performs, she’s going to be making unannounced appearances with him on stage. Gwen is no stranger to Las Vegas residencys -she completed one herself at Planet Hollywood. Her unpaid and unannounced appearances with Blake are a way to not only support him, but according to my source, keep an EYE on him as well. There’s no trouble in paradise and Gwen intends to keep it that way, as she’s seen what happens in Vegas with those sexy showgirls.

Megan Fox recently made headlines when she appeared pregnant in her boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly’s music video for his song, Lonely Road. According to my source, this could soon be a case of art imitating life. I hear that Megan has been confiding to pals that she and MGK are actively trying to have a baby. For what it’s worth Megan has stopped drinking and was recently seen looking at high-end cribs at a furniture store in Los Angeles. Stay tuned – as we expect a pregnancy announcement soon.

Ben Affleck made news when it was revealed he purchased a house all by himself close to the neighborhood he lived in with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. While Garner has moved on and is actually hoping Ben works things out with his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez, we just heard that she has AGREED to help Ben furnish the entire house. According to my source, Ben needs everything from towels to mattresses, TVs to artwork, and he is completely overwhelmed by the idea of furnishing a house. He can’t ask J.Lo to do it, so he reached out to Garner and she reluctantly agreed to help decorate the pad. Don’t read more into this though, as my source insists she wouldn’t take him back if he was the last man on earth, but HE IS the father of her children so she felt obliged to help.

And finally it wouldn’t be a week without another crazy Donald Trump story. 78-year old Donald really went off his rocker this past week when he questioned whether Kamala Harris was actually black, (we know he’s a loony tune but this was even weird for him). We just heard that his daughter Ivanka, who’s desperately trying to distance herself from her father, reached out and scolded him for the misstep. According to my inside source, Ivanka BEGGED her father to keep race out of this election. As my source put it, Ivanka knows she can’t control her dad, but she’s just trying to limit his craziness to protect her own image.

In what could be a plot twist from The Brady Bunch, estranged couple Jennifer Lopez, and Ben Affleck seem to be headed for divorce, but their children are SCHEMING to save the marriage. The one bright spot from Jen and Ben’s union has been their blended family, because the kids have formed an unbreakable bond. To their credit, both Jen and Ben have done their best to keep the kids together, but with divorce appearing inevitable, the kids are working together behind the scenes to see how they can save the troubled marriage. One of the biggest problems is their parents lifestyle differences, Ben is low-key, private, and frugal, while Jen loves the limelight and likes to be seen looking good and spends a LOT of money. Although most reports say a divorce is an inevitable, don’t count Ben and Jen out yet, if their kids have anything to do with it.

JEN AND BEN CELEBRATE THEIR ANNIVERSARY

Just because they’re living apart, didn’t mean that Ben Affleck didn’t do something extra special for his estranged wife, Jennifer Lopez. The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary (already?) on July 16 and according to my source, although they didn’t spend the day together, Ben did make sure to send Jennifer an anniversary gift – and QUITE a gift it was. As we previously reported, the couple are trying to figure out their future, and although they’re selling their Beverly Hills home, they’re not ready to throw in the towel on their marriage just yet. Ben’s not known for extravagant gift giving, but he splurged on massive vintage emerald ring for Jen which he tucked in the pocket of a cotton robe. Why a cotton robe? Cotton is the traditional gift for the 2nd anniversary, that’s why.

Travis Kelce blabbed on his weekly podcast that it was HIS idea to join girlfriend Taylor Swift onstage during one of her recent European concerts, but we just heard what he DIDN’T reveal. Travis also came up with the idea of appearing in one of Taylor’s upcoming music videos for her latest album and my source says that some of it has already been filmed. Unlike most of Taylor’s last lovers (who’ve preferred to keep things on the down low) Travis loves the spotlight and enjoys having their romance out in the open.

Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on July 4 with an Instagram post but I’m hearing that the couple ( who many predicted wouldn’t last) also have a secret Independence Day tradition where they renew their wedding vows to one another in private. The notoriously private couple stunned their friends and family 22 years ago when they got married during a July 4 celebration and Julia confided to a pal that they’ve repeated their wedding vow tradition almost every year (a few times they were apart working so they did it on a different date).

Desperate to save his faltering presidential campaign, Joe Biden is on an interview tour as we exclusively reported. Now we are hearing that in addition to the tour, Biden is prepared to take a cognitive test and release the results regardless of how they turn out. My political source says that at this point the president is willing to try almost anything to prove to the American people that he’s capable of being president and not mentally challenged.

On the other hand we are also hearing that his presumptive Republican challenger Donald Trump is TERRIFIED that Biden will be replaced and he’ll have to run against someone younger. My source says that Donald thoroughly enjoys painting Biden as old and feeble, but he’s worried he will be the one looking frail against a younger Democratic candidate. Get this: He’s even started using his wife Melania’s skin serum and emulsion that she orders from a top plastic surgeon every month. Donald is suddenly taking his appearance seriously. In addition to the fancy potions he’s also updating his wardrobe in hopes of appearing younger than 78!

Finally, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made headlines for spending the holiday weekend on different coasts, but still wearing their wedding rings! For a couple seemingly on the verge of divorce, it’s odd that their rings are back on. Here’s what we know. Their marriage is rife with problems, including their different lifestyles (she loves the limelight and loves to live large, while he’s private and parsimonious). The only things they seem to have in common is incredible sexual chemistry and a true love and respect for one another. So for now, they’re not throwing in the towel, but are hoping to work out some sort of arrangement to stay married but live apart. As for the rings, we heard it was a calculated move to show the public they’re still working on their union.

Not only are Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck trying to unload the Beverly Hills mansion they purchased last year for $60 million (their asking price is $65 million) but my real estate source revealed that J.Lo is also hoping to sell ALL of the furnishings. Superstitious Jennifer is telling pals that her marriage to Ben was PERFECT until they bought that house and now she doesn’t want ANY reminders of it after it sells. Jen and Ben’s marital future remains shaky at best, but if they do wind up reconciling, Jen wants to be sure NOTHING from that house winds up in their new place.
