Dick Van Patten, the patriarch of the 80’s series “Eight is Enough” showed up at the premier of “Farrah’s Story” with a big bandage on his head. He admitted he’d had cancerous tissue removed. For a fair skinned blue eyed person, he’s given himself a LOT of skin damage over the years. Farrah’s best friend Alana Stewart, who produced the documentary, was also at the premier and Ryan O’Neal was there also, lapping up attention, as usual.

Leave it to The National Enquirer to discover Jacqueline Kennedy’s aunt and cousin living in squalor in a dilapidated house on Long Island on 1971. Jackie helped them patch up the house and the documentary “Grey >Gardens” made eccentrics “Big Edie” Bouvier Beale and “Little Edie” Bouvier Beale famous. Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange are starring in the HBO version debuting Saturday and they made a point of looking really good at the New York premier because they look so bad in the movie.

Hundreds of teens- mostly lovesick girls- camped out in sleeping bags and folding chairs as they gleefully waved to passing traffic. Many carry signs expressing their feelings for Pattison. THE WOMEN: NOT A MAN IN SIGHT

Much of the amazing cast of the updated version of “The Women” showed up at the premier located, ironically, at Mann’s theater in Hollywood. From left are Jada Pinkett, Annette Bening, Debra Messing, Meg Ryan, Eva Mendes, and Debi Mazar. A superb collection of acting talent. There’s not a single man in this cast and we can hardly wait to see how they pull that off. Not even a cab driver or doorman?
