Bruce Willis Demi Moore Documentary Emma Heming

BRUCE WILLIS DOCUMENTARY IS IN THE WORKS

It’s no secret that Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma Heming and his ex-wife Demi Moore have always been close, growing even closer since Bruce was diagnosed with a form of dementia. They’re now taking their friendship to the next level and are teaming up to produce a documentary on Bruce’s life. It will cover everything from his time on Moonlighting (above) to his more recent health struggles. A friend describes the project as a love letter to Bruce and while no deal has been signed yet, it will likely appear on a streaming service once completed.

SEAN PENN : MY OSCAR WILL INSPIRE YOU

At first glance this photo of Sean Penn and Volodymyr Zelenskiy looked like a macho man contest. Sean is filming a documentary about the Russian invasion and he has flown to Ukraine three times while working on it. In the photo Sean looks pleased as punch while he’s handing Zelenskiy one of his Oscars and telling him to bring it back to Malibu after he wins the war. Zelenskiy looks a little puzzled by the odd gesture and the photo op, but he indulged the actor.

COREY FELDMAN’S “TRUTH” ABOUT CHARLIE SHEEN WAS OVERLOOKED

Corey Feldman and his wife of five years, Courtney, dined at celebrity hangout Craig’s this week and we almost forgot how short he is. Former child star Corey claims to be 5’5” and his wife is 5’10”. For years Corey refused to name names when talking about child molesters in Hollywood. He finally released a documentary, My Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys that DID, but it was in 2020 during the Covid pandemic and few people saw it. Corey famously accused Charlie Sheen of raping his pal Corey Haim when they filmed the movie Lucas in 1986. Charlie was 19 and Corey was 13. Of course Charlie denied it, and shockingly, nothing came of the revelation. Just when we thought Fran Lebowitz’s Pretend It’s A City was as good as it gets on HBO, they announced they are planning a documentary on Paul Reubens life story! The man behind the beloved Pee Wee Herman. Who didn’t love Pee Wee’s movies and Pee Wee’s Playhouse on TV from ’86 to ’90? SOME people might not know that Paul Reubens has also had a movie career under his own name. Of course we want to see what Paul was like as a kid growing up and find out how he developed the Pee Wee character. Paul is equally excited about this project, although he says “I love HBO but I’m not going to marry them!”

The new documentary Framing Britney Spears has opened up a whole new discussion about her conservatorship. Britneys father Jamie, while acting as her conservator, controlled every inch of her life – he managed her career, finances, personal life and purchases. At 39, she had to ask his permission to buy an expensive pair of shoes. After earning ALL that money! It all boils down to THE BOYFRIEND – Jamie is very wary of her smoothly handsome boyfriend Sam Asghari, 27. Iranian born Sam is VERY ambitious and advertises his good looks and physical talents lavishly on social media. Compare his posts with Britney’s and you see his level of sophistication. Knowing Britney’s vulnerability when it comes to men (she invited a photographer in to live with her a few years ago, and HE ran her life and was accused of giving her drugs) her father is highly suspicious of Sam’s motives. It’s clear that Jamie doesn’t want Sam running Britney’s life and Sam is not happy. Sam says about Jamie: “I have no respect for anyone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles in our way!” Is Jamie not allowing Britney to MARRY Sam? Crock of Gold Documentary Johnny Depp Shane MacGowan The Pogues

JOHNNY DEPP SUPPORTS HIS ERRANT FRIENDS

Nice to hear that Johnny Depp is now a producer – he worked with documentary filmmaker Julien Temple on Crock of Gold: A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan. Fans of punk may recall Shane was led singer of The Pogues, most famous for “Fairytale of New York.” Johnny has always been drawn to overindulgent irresponsible characters like MacGowan, who is notorious for his struggles with heroin addiction and alcoholism. At one time, he was even kicked out of his own band for behaving badly. But his music is wonderful- incredibly touching and sensitive, loaded with Irish melancholy. Johnny appeared at the San Sebastian Film Festival to promote the documentary and said he enjoyed the scarcity of “Hollywood types” at the event.

AARON HERNANDEZ: AN AMERICAN TRAGEDY

To be honest, we’ve never been particularly interested in football players – that is – until we saw this photo of NFL star Aaron Hernandez in court a year or so ago. He was found guilty of murdering a guy who dated his girlfriend’s sister and sentenced to life without parole. He was drop-dead handsome with the kind of life one DREAMS about – how could this have happened? And NOW a few days after being acquitted of two more murders, he committed suicide in his isolated cell! It’s devastating, and a TV docuseries is already in the works by the Discovery ID producers.
