KATY PERRY IS YUKKING IT UP WITH FRIENDS IN HAWAII – NO HUSBAND IN SIGHT

What IS going on between Katy Perry and Russell Brand? First she says she wants to take time off this year to try and have a baby, and now she’s celebrating the holidays WITHOUT her husband! US magazine says Katy and Russell had a nasty spat and she cancelled plans to bring her family to London on a private jet to celebrate with Russell’s relatives. After the argument, Katy took off for Hawaii with friends while Russell stayed alone in the UK. Insiders say Katy doesn’t like Russell’s attitude toward her religious family and he’s not fond of her friends. Celebrating Christmas apart IS a big thing. (Above, Katy in hat on the beach)

KENDALL AND KYLIE JENNER GOT DOGS FOR CHRISTMAS – AMONG OTHER THINGS.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner (ages 14 and 16) got Chocolate Lab puppies for Christmas and we have mixed feelings. Impulsively giving puppies as Christmas gifts is never a great idea – a dog takes a lot of thought and preparation. Hopefully the pups appearance was not just to liven up the TV show. Of course, if the Kardashians had set a good example and RESCUED dogs from the pound it would have been more socially responsible than purchasing a designer breed. Kim has already tweeted a photo (above) and the names of the sleepy male and female pups – Louis and Vuitton – and for some reason that makes us gag.

Tori Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott took a Christmas shopping break to get an energy boost – in the form of a whole bunch of coffee and edibles at Starbucks. Christmas is a big deal at Tori’s house – she has three kids to please (Hattie was born in October) along with a menagerie of animals. Tori has cats, dogs, bunnies, goats, a chicken, and a pig. Despite the crowd, Tori says another baby is a strong possibility.

We cannot allow the Kardashian Christmas card to pass by without comment. Have you ever seen a colder, icier, more somber family greeting? Could they take themselves MORE seriously? It’s a blue Christmas for this family in spite of the fact that they ALL look exceedingly slim. Naturally that brings up the subject of photoshopping. WHO do you think had the most retouching done?
