We find the fact that Rihanna appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia unsettling to say the least. The often scantily clad singer insisted on dressing in accordance with the customs of the country. Does that mean she RESPECTS the customs of a country that DENIES equal rights for women? Has Rihanna LOST HER MIND? Saudi women are covered from head to toe and need permission from a “male guardian” to open a bank account or visit a doctor. Driving is out of the question. They even have separate entrances for men and women in their own homes! Actually Saudi crimes against women are too numerous to mention – Rihanna should be ashamed of herself for “respecting” these diabolical “customs.”

“Edge of Tomorrow” may have fizzled in the USA, but Japanese fans are still crazy for Tom Cruise. He’s promoting the movie, and seemed very touched by the warm reception he got there. Tom DOES look a little different. His smile isn’t as flashy, his face is a bit rounder and his hair isn’t so black. He actually looks more like a normal person than a superhero movie star.

He’s been cast in the new TV series “Navy Street.” It’s described as a gritty family drama about a family that owns a martial arts gym in Venice Califormia. Nick plays the youngest son. He has successfully put his Disney boy-band reputation behind him. He’s almost scary looking now. Maybe this is why the Jonas Brothers split up.

We may never know if Macaulay Culkin was really battling drug addiction last year like certain tabloids claimed because he was looking scrawny. Frankly, we doubt it. But he has regained his sense of humor since joining the band ”Pizza Underground.” It’s a tribute band for The Velvet >Underground and they switch the original band’s lyrics around so that drug references are turned into pizza references. Example: Lou Reed’s “A Perfect Day” became “A Pizza Day.” The group WAS booed off the stage in the UK, but New York finds them more amusing. Mac posted this funny photo of himself wearing a t -shirt with a photo of Ryan Gosling wearing a photo of Macaulay on his shirt.

That mug shot of Stockton gang-banger Jeremy Meeks is not a fluke – other pictures of him (above) are just as flattering. Sandy Banks wrote about the Meeks mug shot phenomenon in the LA Times today. She had trouble understanding how Meeks’ soulful eyes, strong jaw, and pouty lips could spark such ardor among SO many women of all ages. Sandy consulted a psychology professor who pointed out that Meeks face is EXACTLY what turns women on – we’re hard-wired by evolution to perceive these features as handsome. Men have always put their main focus on physical attractiveness of females, now women are acknowledging that good looking men are more appealing to them! We’d love to see career criminal Jeremy profit from all this attention and turn his life around. Maybe Tom Ford will bail him out and turn him into a fashion model.
