KIM KARDASHIAN: WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO TO THE WEDDING GIFTS?

Whether Kim Kardashian will return her wedding gifts has become a burning issue in Hollywood. According to etiquette experts, the marriage was very short and the gifts should absolutely be returned, along with a personal note from the bride. Kim had registered for $172,000 worth of place settings, crystal etc. But we’re thinking that ever-practical Kris Jenner might have already returned the gifts to stores for cold hard cash! If that’s the case, Kim could always donate the value of each gift to charity and inform all the disgruntled guests who gave them. 400 wedding attendees will be waiting to see what happens. We wonder if the Vera Wang wedding dress will be auctioned off on eBay….

Kris Jenner recently started selling her fashion collection on QVC and she’s already earned a reputation as a diva. Among other things, she simply CANNOT allow the QVC staffers to blow dry her hair for the show. Despite the fact that the hair and makeup people have served many celebrity guests before Kris, she won’t let anyone touch her hair except her private hairdresser Alex Rodan. QVC has to pay Alex $1500 a day to travel with Kris.

NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY ABOUT THE KARDASHIAN WEDDING

A little bird told us that Kris Humphries’ family back in his hometown of Minneapolis are NOT happy about the upcoming Kardashian wedding. (The “little bird” is CJ, columnist for the Star-Tribune in Minneapolis.) CJ says that Kris’s family has been completely left out of all wedding preparations, although they were eager to be involved. Kris‘s dad, who used to do all his son’s business deals, is already irked since Kris Jenner took over managing the ball player. Now even Kris himself is unhappy because he cannot select his own groomsmen – instead of his buddies, the Kardashians want their own men in the ceremony. Even if Kris has second thoughts, we think he’s too scared of steamroller Kris Jenner to back out….

We love this 50’s vintage Fruit of the Loom ad from Life magazine. This old brand is making a big comeback in Hollywood – forget Calvin Klein. Brad Pitt, Rob Pattinson, and Zac Efron have all been photographed with their Fruit of the Loom labels peeking out above their jeans. So it makes sense that Kris Jenner, who is now managing her daughter’s fiancee Kris Humphries, would try to land a deal with this company and make Humphries spokesmodel for the label. She’s determined to make it happen and wants to see his face on every package of underwear sold.

Kim Kardashian’s fiancee Kris Humphries is described by his own publicist as an “NBA star and philanthropist.” Our gossip colleague CJ at the Star Tribune assumed that indicated that their wedding might become a fund-raising charity event. Since the nuptials will be paid for along with a handsome profit, one might have hoped the well-to-do bride and groom would invite guests to donate to a chosen charity instead of wasting money on gaudy wedding gifts they don’t need. But according to CJ, “The lovebirds have already shown us who they are by needing a 20.5 carat diamond ring to convey their love.” Hence, the registration at Geary’s in Beverly Hills for $172,000 worth of “newlywed necessities” like $6000 vases or a $375.00 candy jar. (Sounds like Kris Jenner’s work to us.) In summation, Kris and Kim COULD have shown themselves in a flattering light and helped tornado victims or whatever – but they chose to stock up on Lalique ashtrays instead.

DID KIM KARDASHIAN BUY HER OWN TWO MILLION DOLLAR ENGAGEMENT RING?

Kris Humphries has brought us back to the days when women like Elizabeth Taylor and Zsa Zsa Gabor judged their men by the size of the diamonds they received from them. Men liked the show off their wealth to impress acquisitive women who “sold out” to the highest bidder. She wants the world to know what she’s worth!

According to MediaTakeOut, Kendall and Snoop Dogg’s 16 year old son Corde Broadus, (also a model) struck up a conversation at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. We’re guessing Kris Jenner has schooled him in the art of cashing in. NBA star Kris has had the best year of his career and strangely, some credit this to his association with Kim “Midas” Kardashian. Kris’s new publicist is touting him as more than a great basketball player – he’s an “entrepreneur” and a “philanthropist.” Our esteemed colleague CJ at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis where Kris hails from, could barely contain her laughter – she pointed out that Kris is taking himself FAR too seriously if he considers himself in the league of philanthropists Bill Gates or Richard Branson.

Kim and her mom Kris hope that Kim’s half sisters Kylie, 13, and Kendall Jenner,15, will follow in their older sisters footsteps and become money machines. KRIS JENNER TAKES FULL CREDIT FOR THE KARDASHIAN KONGLOMERATE

Brace yourself. The Kardashian empire last year earned 65 million dollars – more than Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, or Sandra Bullock. The Hollywood Reporter credits Kris Jenner for the family’s incredible success and Kris admits that initially SHE was inspired by the Hilton family (who must be green with envy about now.) The family splits a six figure check for each episode of their several reality shows, but this just serves as a marketing platform or “commercial” for their related efforts: the Dash stores, books, fragrances, skin care, diet products, a line for Sears, etc – next up are slot machines for The Mirage Hotel. Kris says “Who knew it would be this profitable? I should have had more kids!”
