JOHN TRAVOLTA’S GOTTI MOVIE FINALLY PREMIERED AT CANNES

John Travolta and Kelly Preston are at Cannes presenting their Gotti movie and it looks like he’s changed his hair color. It’s hard to imagine Kelly playing Victoria Gotti, but if the film is at Cannes, it can’t be bad. John actually wears some of the Dapper Don’s clothing in the film and Pitbull provided the soundtrack. John’s been struggling with this movie for YEARS – directors and actors came and went – including Lindsay Lohan – so hopes for the movie weren’t particularly high. But Travolta never gave up – the movie was actually finished a few years ago, but John insisted on the right distributor and that took more time. Gotti opens June 15.

JOHN TRAVOLTA: FROM SCIENTOLOGY KINGPIN TO MAFIA DON

Against all odds, that John Gotti movie about gangster father and son, that’s been talked about for SO MANY years is actually being made! The new title is The Life and Death of John Gotti. And it’s a family affair – John Travolta is starring as the flamboyant mobster, his wife Kelly Preston is playing his movie wife Victoria Gotti, and their daughter Ella Bleu, 16, is playing the Gotti’s daughter Angel. Sounds weird, but back in 2011, Lindsay Lohan ALMOST had the role of Victoria and Ben Foster was asked to play John Gotti Jr! After years of script, director, and money problems, the film is full steam ahead – shooting in Manhattan. (Entourage’s Kevin Connolly is directing!) Travolta IS getting into character (above) and we love his new hair – he should keep it that way. We can’t help thinking about the similarities between Scientology and the Mafia….

WHAT’S THAT ON YOUR CHIN JOHN TRAVOLTA?

Who can explain this wad of hair on John Travolta’s chin? It was incorrectly identified as a “soul patch” but in fact that term describes a thatch of facial hair right under the lower lip. This chin decoration is some form of a mini-goatee. Maybe John uses it as a distraction – to pull the eye away from his hairline in the unforgiving bright sunshine in Cannes. Kelly Preston is rocking quite a wad of diamonds – and we bet she earned every one of them. (We love to poke fun at John, but we have to admit we actually like him!)

JOHN TRAVOLTA TRIED TO ARRANGE A CAREER COMEBACK FOR KELLY PRESTON

John Travolta has been trying to make it up to his wife Kelly Preston after she was embarrassed by all those masseur sex charges against him last summer. She’s been upset about her lagging career, so John found a Scientologist who would write a pilot for her to star in. A lot of money was spent to put together “Keep Calm and Karey On,” and half the people involved in filming the pilot were Scientologists. The OTHER half – non-scientologists- were reportedly uncomfortable on the set and felt the pressure and influence of Scientology.- especially when John paid a surprise visit. After all that, ABC didn’t pick up the show, so now John is back in the doghouse with Kelly.

Ella Bleu Travolta, 12, hopes to be an actress – she appeared in John’s movie “Old Dogs” and also has a role in his upcoming Gotti movie. But in the past few months she has gained an alarming amount of weight and she’s not the happy little girl she used to be. Despite being sheltered by her Scientology companions, she’s most likely very aware of her family ‘s problems and upset and confused. Hopefully, she’s getting some kind of help.

Ever since gay sex allegations started multiplying in the US, John has been keeping Kelly on an extended vacation as far away as possible. His lawyer keeps denying everything, but seeds of doubt have been sewn. The pilot Doug Gotterba, who claims to have had a six year affair with him says that after John married Kelly he admitted he preferred men. Still, Kelly manages to keep a smile on her face.

Because of his ongoing gay scandal, John has been avoiding doing publicity for the movie so it was a surprise to see him at all. He and Kelly just returned from Hawaii where they were laying low, trying not to answer questions. The first photo of John and the pilot Doug Gotterba writing the book about their 80’s affair appeared in this week’s Enquirer. DENIALS ARE NO LONGER WORKING FOR JOHN TRAVOLTA

The tension mounts for John Travolta now that no less than seven men – mostly masseurs and hotel employees – have told stories about John making passes at them. It’s ironic that guys have also come forward who DIDN’T resist John’s advances and enjoyed the sex. They simply want the world to know John isn’t telling the truth – he DOES lead a double life. Travolta is rumored to be hiding out in The Bahamas with his family while Scientologists fall all over themselves doing crisis control. Of course there is much speculation that Kelly Preston is planning a 200 million dollar divorce, but we doubt it. She’s put up with John’s shenanigans all these years, so why quit now when they have kids to think about. One thing for sure – a LOT of money will change hands before this episode is finished.

Kelly Preston is making a valiant effort to bail out Kirstie Alley’s faltering Organic Liaison diet program. Kirstie opened her diet business in March in the Silverlake area of LA but despite looking inviting, the shop is almost always empty. Neighboring business wonder how they pay the rent. (Clue: Scientology) Kirstie claims to have lost 100 pounds this year with her own product, but she doesn’t look it. Kelly had problems losing baby weight after giving birth to Benjamin last year at the age of 48. Now Kelly is trumpeting the fact that she lost 39 pounds and credits Kirstie’s powdered diet aid. It remains to be seen if this will influence customers to come running to the diet store.
