I’m shaking my head in disbelief over this.
Just yesterday I watched that horrible “Music and Lyrics” on DVD, where Kristen plays Drew Barrymore’s sister — and the owner of a diet center, no less.
She did seem somewhat larger than her days on “Third Rock,” but a 60 pound weight loss? She’s gone too far.
I’d bet that having mastered such extreme control over her body’s need for nutrition, that she is literally afraid to feed herself properly — fearing she’ll gain it all back.
It reminds me of the actress Mary Frann, like Kristen, she was an older actress who underwent a similar drastic weight loss. I recall that she wanted to look very thin at her upcoming wedding.
One week she was photographed in the Globe looking eerily like Kristen.
The next week she was dead of heart failure.
Janet, Why would you say such a thing about a woman who is obviously battling an illness. Honestly, do you think she looks younger?

I don’t think Janet means “younger” as a way to praise Kristen’s weight loss. Kristen looks like an adolescent girl. Most women with an eating disorder look young because they lose those womanly curves.
She lost her curves and has a boyish figure now. She looks like a kid. And I don’t mean that in a good way.
