What IS going on between Katy Perry and Russell Brand? First she says she wants to take time off this year to try and have a baby, and now she’s celebrating the holidays WITHOUT her husband! US magazine says Katy and Russell had a nasty spat and she cancelled plans to bring her family to London on a private jet to celebrate with Russell’s relatives. After the argument, Katy took off for Hawaii with friends while Russell stayed alone in the UK. KATY PERRY AND RUSSELL BRAND ESCAPE THE BRIGHT LIGHTS

What does a mega famous couple do on a quiet Sunday night? Katy Perry and Russell Brand were seen at 8PM meandering down the street holding hands on Larchmont Blvd in LA. (They walked right past us as we sat at La Bottega Marino eating pasta outside.) Russell carried a bag from the Rite-Aid pharmacy and Katy had little or no makeup on, and her hair was mostly pink. She wore a swingy little summer dress. They managed to stroll the street from end to end and window shop and no one paid attention, proving even famous people have slow nights.

The Brands just purchased a 6.5 million dollar house in Los Feliz with seven bedrooms, so it makes one wonder if babies are in the near future or are they having too much fun acting like kids themselves…

Russell Brand is playing a n 80’s pop star in “Rock of Ages” and he’s dressed up in torn jeans and suspenders, at vintage t- shirt and rockstar wig, and he almost reminds one of Tommy Lee(top right) in his heyday as a member of Motley Crue. Except one thing is wrong – rockers didn’t have facial hair like that – they had smooth babyfaces and were more likely than not to wear lipstick!

RUSSELL BRAND: WILL KATY PERRY’S BABIES LOOK LIKE TINY TIM?

Russell Brand has suffered some awful reviews for his remake of “Arthur” but none are probably worse than Kyle Smith’s in the New York Post. Smith said that Brand’s performance “rapidly descends the rungs of the comedy ladder from “unfunny” to “irritating” to “vulgar.” He went on to say that “some of the dialog might have been funny from someone mugging half as much as Brand.” The critic complained about Brand’s lack of charm and said “he manages to be as odious as his doppelganger, the 60’s novelty singer Tiny Tim.” See photos above. THIS IS THE MAN KATY PERRY MARRIED

We never had much of a weakness for Russell Brand, but we were horrified by revelations he made in a recent interview. According to Radaronline, back when Brand, now 36, was addicted to crack and heroin he admits he had “destructive tendencies” and was “fixated on dead animals.” When he performed onstage he’d bring a heap of dead rats or birds and says he’d “smash them up with a hammer and throw them to the audience. He’d say “Why are you disgusted? They’re dead already!” He says he was trying to “wake people up” by shocking them. It’s a horrifying mental picture that Brand clearly would be better off not mentioning. Drugs are no excuse.

Machli will always be well cared for, and Katy and Russell can visit her whenever they want to.
