Emmy winning Fame choreographer Debbie Allen was honored as Woman of the Year at the Nevada Ballet Theater Gala this weekend and she showed up looking like THIS at the social event of the year! Did Debbie think that because she’s in Las Vegas she should dress like Holly Madison? These necklines cut down to the waist are not flattering and certainly in questionable taste. Burn this dress, Debbie.

Shia LaBeouf proved to himself that he still has plenty of fans with that “art” stunt last weekend. He commandeered a small art gallery on Beverly Blvd and received visitors with a bag on his head emphasizing his dislike of being “famous.” We drove by several times and there were always at least a hundred people in line around the block to see him, and a burly bodyguard at the door keeping order. We can’t help thinking he’s following the lead of Joaquin Phoenix who tried to convince us that he dropped out of the movie business to become a rapper with an aversion to bathing. He ditched the idea as soon as a good movie offer came along and we think Shia will too.

Where did we go wrong? Swimmer Ryan Lochte, winner of five gold Olympic medals, has admitted he dreams of becoming as successful as Kim >Kardashian! (Is Kris Jenner already dialing his number?) Lochte just got his own reality show on E! called “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?“ and he’s beside himself with excitement. Ryan is especially impressed with Kim because she “started from pretty much nothing and now everyone, everywhere, knows who she is.” Amazing. This hugely successful and disciplined athlete ENVIES Kim Kardashian! Viewers will tune into Ryan’s show just to see if he’s in his right mind.

The first ad for Lady Gaga’s new black perfume, Fame, was tweeted by you-know-who and it’s a doozy. Photographer Steven Klein snapped nude Gaga in repose like a mountain, being climbed all over by tiny muscular men in black masks and black gloves. She promised her fans that she mixed some of her blood into the first batch of perfume and as a result it contains her DNA. The scent is black in the bottle, but when sprayed on the body it becomes invisible. Gaga says it smells like “an expensive hooker.”

Recently we reminded you that Paris Hilton’s fame has slipped to the level that she had to bring her own photographer to events to take her picture. What we didn’t realize is how distraught she is about that fact. She was recently in Australia for a club opening with her DJ boyfriend Afrojack and she was interviewed on the Australian morning show Sunrise. The correspondent politely asked her “What will you do when you’re not famous any more?” She answered that she’d like to have children and live a normal life. But later she started fuming and obsessing over the not-so-probing question and asked the show not to televise that portion of the interview. They refused, and she retaliated by having Sunrise cameras banned from the red carpet event and ALL future interviews with her. Touchy, touchy…

This is a life-changing weekend for Jennifer Lawrence, 21, star of “The Hunger Games,“ which opens midnight Thursday. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie has already sold 15 million dollars worth of advance tickets and it might end up with one of the biggest debuts of all time – possible 130 to 140 million for the weekend! Jennifer Lawrence is hardly a household name – even though she was nominated for an Oscar for “Winter’s Bone” – because so few people saw the movie. After this weekend she’ll find out what it feels like to be “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart. No more alone time! Fans will be everywhere! No matter how much they HATE EACH OTHER, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi both LOVE FAME, so they agreed to appear on “Bachelor Pad,” which debuted Monday. The two publicity hounds have openly despised each other since they broke their engagement after season 14 of The Bachelor. (After the split she called him “obviously gay.”) But they do share a love for money and fame, and both have come to realize that no one cares about them separately. As a romantic or antagonistic couple they are of interest. Bachelor Pad producers upped the ante by offering them a big bonus if they end up back together!

We got a kick out of the fact that British actor Robert Pattinson, 22, refused to get his teeth straightened for his new movie “Twilight.” Teens are so crazy about this guy that they create mob scenes everywhere he’s scheduled to be. He was at a Toronto event that turned chaotic when he was bombarded by hysterical young girls trying to touch him. The usually affable Pattinson was so drained that at the airport on his way out of town, he refused to sign autographs. Imagine what his life will be like AFTER the movie opens!

It’s always fun to go to the supermarket in Los Angeles because you never know WHO you might bump into! “Fame” star Irene Cara ,49, turned up at Whole Foods where she shopped pretty much unnoticed. Irene’s songs Fame and What a feeling are still disco anthems of the early 80’s. And of course she starred in the movie “Fame.” The Oscar winner has never stopped working – now she has an all girl band called Hot Caramel.
We don’t know WHAT to think about this photo of Carrot Top that came out of Las Vegas. He gets scarier looking every day and when he’s pictured next to an attractive woman, it’s even more evident. It’s also unsettling to contemplate just WHY she is in his arms. Is this an example of how fame and possibly money, makes a guy more appealing?
