PARIS JACKSON MARCHES FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE

Nice to see Paris Jackson participating at the Black Lives Matter rally in LA. She marched with the afternoon peaceful group who had good intentions, but she didn’t seem to think she needed a mask. Too bad the sincere demonstrators were joined by troublemakers and criminals as the sun went down Saturday night, and the destruction and looting commenced. What started as a heartfelt event turned into a nightmare of graffiti and wrecked stores and sneaker shops. Sad that the purpose of the march was blurred by fires and violence. We feel awful for the shopowners. Why is it WOMEN can march and demonstrate for their causes with NO violence?

WHAT WE DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT MEGAN FOX’S MARRIAGE

Megan Fox’s marriage could be more problematic than we realized. She and Brian Austin Green have three sons – the oldest is 8 – and all three boys have very long hair and dress like girls. This week Megan took her three boys to a building where the office of a well known gender identity psychologist is located, and they stayed for around two hours. Gender identity is a complicated issue and can be problematic if parents don’t agree on how to address it. Whether this contributed to their split is not known, but certainly a possibility. The photo above is from last fall when Megan and Brian were still together.

How funny is the news that Kylie Jenner and her mother Kris Jenner submitted FAKE documents to Forbes magazine so she could claim the title of Youngest Billionaire – thanks to her cosmetic company? She stole the title from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, who became a billionaire at 23. The situation illustrates just how FAR the Kardashians will go to gain publicity. Lying is obviously never out of the question – remember, Kylie lied about her lip fillers for years before reluctantly telling the truth. Caught in the act, Kylie was dismissive and responded to Forbes “We’re in a pandemic- don’t you have bigger things to think about?”

GAL GADOT IS THE PERFECT CHOICE TO PLAY HEDY LAMARR

Gal Gadot has taken her Hedy Lamarr project to Apple TV+, and they are turning the story into an eight part series. We were fascinated to learn that Hedy won a beauty contest in Austria at the age of 12! After she fled Vienna, Louis B Mayer “discovered”(and renamed) actress Hedy Lamarr in England, and introduced her to Hollywood as “the world’s most beautiful woman.” The series will cover her entire 30 year career as an actress and an inventor, not to mention her six marriages. We doubt that those embarrassing shoplifting arrests in the 60’s will be featured because two of her children are involved in the production. Gal Gadot has not only the looks, but the slightly exotic accent that Hedy had.

CHRIS ROCK AND ROSIE PEREZ TAKE NO CHANCES

New York Governor Cuomo is no fool – he knows how to reach his audience in a positive way. He’s promoting the use of masks during his daily press conference and he had two important New Yorkers backing him up. While setting a social distancing example, Chris Rock and Rosie Perez urged everyone to continue wearing masks and gloves to protect against coronavirus – and they did it with their own brand of humor.

It’s apparent that Ben Affleck is in the mood to get back to work as things are starting to open up in Los Angeles. We can tell because Ben’s hair and beard are a lot less grey and considerably darker. So maybe he’s gearing up for filming – he has a full schedule of movies waiting for a green light. Of course he could also simply be trying to look good for his new girlfriend Ana de Armas. The pair were out and smiling happily without masks today, walking their best friends as usual…

ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE L.A.

Austrian born rapper and TikTok star Candy Ken landed on Rodeo Drive today shooting another of his “I’ve got more money than you” videos. Note that he’s wearing as many designer labels as possible – including a pink Versace robe, gold teeth, and he has a handful of money and cellphones. His arm is around another TikTok star named Baby J. (He claimed she was his girlfriend – we’re not so sure…) These un-permitted hit-and-run video shoots often happen in Beverly Hills or on Hollywood Blvd – they disappear before anyone can complain, and tourists get a kick out of them.

Madonna is still smarting because she had to cut short her concert tour due to the fact that she was in “indescribable pain.” Exactly WHAT was hurting her, she does not specify. Earlier, she admitted to a knee injury, but something else came up that made performing impossible. Like Tom Cruise, she flatly refuses to let an age–related condition slow her down. She posted a video of herself on Instagram dancing on one leg, but the interesting part is really the outfit she’s wearing…

HOW ABOUT A SELFIE WITH THE FORMER FIRST COUPLE – AND SOME PIZZA?

Some businesses have responded to Covid-19’s unforeseen circumstances with a sense of humor and it’s a welcome relief. Grimaldi’s pizza restaurant in Chelsea in New York has a pair of ceramic statures of Barack and Michelle Obama (wearing masks, of course) seated at a table by their entrance. So far the restaurant is only open for take out and delivery, but they found an entertaining way to remind everyone to mask and keep their distance. Passers-by can stop and safely take a selfie with the famous couple!
