CSI’s original star, William Petersen, lives in our neighborhood and we often walk our dogs past his house, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. (Little known fact: he turned down the role of Henry Hill in “Goodfellas.”) People who know him say he and his wife are exceptionally nice and the one time we bumped into him on his block, he was very friendly. He and his wife Gina Cirone were seen at The Grove today with their two year old twins.

What is he doing in LA these days? I thought he returned to Chicago to live after CSI.
I wish he would come back to CSI. Nothing against Ted Danson or anyone who has played the part before him, but the show just hasn’t been the same for me since William left.

CSI’s gotten so bad I don’t think his return can repair the damage–he’s smart enough to know that!!

Billy is doing a play in LA starting in March, the same play, “Slowgirl” that he did in Chicago this past summer.
He and Gina have homes in LA and Chicago.
