Kylie Jenner, who’s 17 going on 30, does look years older than she is, but she has yet to graduate from high school. In 2013 her mother had Kylie and Kendall so busy with various fashion related projects, that they had no time to attend school and were supposedly being home-schooled. College doesn’t seem to interest the Jenner sisters and their parents never encouraged them to get educated. Too bad.

Uh oh. It looks like fifteen year old Jaden Smith has been successfully brainwashed by Scientology. He thinks everyone would be better off if they drop OUT of school! He tweeted that society in general would be more intelligent if they AVOIDED education. Jaden and his sister Willow, 12, attended Scientology school and studied the principles of L Ron Hubbard until this year when the school closed. Now they’re being homeschooled, but he obviously has little respect for knowledge. Scientologists think general education IS a bad idea – they don’t want their members to be too smart, after all.

It looks like there was never much doubt about Beyonce having star potential- the picture on the left shows the singer when she was just 13, in eighth grade at Welch Middle School. Already a knockout. And just a year later she straightened her hair for her freshman year at Houston School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Unfortunately, she dropped out of school soon after and never graduated because her career took off. (Unfortunately for her education, that is.)

Seven year old Honey Boo Boo, AKA Alana Thompson, started school this week in Georgia like many children, but she couldn’t resist spicing up her drab school outfit with silver heels. Judging by how tight her clothes look, her pageant days might be behind her. But she’ll have a lot to share on “show and tell” day…
Katie Holmes took Suri to the park for her last weekend before school starts, determined to get her daughter accustomed to sharing and playing with other kids. Suri has grown up indulged and most often in the company of adults. Katie is also a bit nervous about paparazzi annoying the other students and parents at Suri’s school – especially since Suri’s dad is expected to be present for her first day. Hopefully Suri will make friends and the photographers won’t be too intrusive.

Katie Holmes is trying to cram a whole lot of normalcy into Suri’s life before she attends school for the first time this fall. They just returned from visiting Katie’s family members in the Midwest and Suri met her cousins for the first time. Flying commercial and schlepping their own luggage through the airport was a new experience for Suri. Katie wants Suri to get used to playing with kids her own age and sharing her toys.

Halle Berry seems to be loosening up a bit and allowing her ex Gabriel Aubry more time with their daughter Nahla. Maybe because she HAS to. In the photo above, Halle is dropping off Nahla at preschool and she has a big new cast on her foot. The day before when she dropped off her daughter there was no cast. That’s Paris Jackson in the middle of that football maneuver and she seems to be enjoying every minute. Paris loves the sport and she’s the first girl ever to join her school’s football team. This is the second year that Paris and her brother Prince have attended a real school and they seem to be very happy after all those lonely years of home schooling.
