ROBERT DENIRO THINKS JOHN TRAVOLTA IS A SISSY

We had a good laugh when we read Mike Walker’s story about Robert De Niro and John Travolta’s “feud” in the Enquirer. De Niro and Travolta are currently filming “Killing Season” together and the two actors are cordial, but seem to have little in common. Every day De Niro arrives on the set alone, and Travolta makes an entrance with an entourage of 6 or 7 people – (presumably one is his personal masseuse.)The two actors have a fight scene where they have to exchange blows and roll down a hill into a stream. John, 57, wanted his stuntman do the dirty work but Deniro, who’s ten years older, insisted it was no big deal and they could do it themselves. John didn’t want to get hurt, but after considerable negotiation he reluctantly agreed to fall in the cold water, but his stuntman rolled down the hill with DeNiro.

JOHN TRAVOLTA’S GOTTI MOVIE IS FALLING APART

Producers of that overpublicized “Gotti” movie must have promised John Travolta a humongous salary or else he would have dropped out of the troubled project by now. According to Showbiz 411, producer Marco Fiori (who happens to be an excon) failed to raise enough money to keep the January start date for production, so they found a new producer. So far there’s a lot of bad blood between the players and investors are questionable. The Gotti family has been actively involved in casting and promoting and publicizing their movie – they even courted Lindsay Lohan to costar, but THAT didn’t work out. Too many press conferences and not enough action. Somehow we don’t see this movie ever getting made.

JOHN TRAVOLTA TRIED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS AT KFC

Has John Travolta lost touch with reality? He was reportedly disappointed in the UK when he tried to reserve a table at the local KFC. Yes, Kentucky Fried Chicken. British papers reported that Travolta was in West Sussex at a Scientology meeting when he had a craving for KFC. He had an aide call the store and ask to book a table for “Mr Travolta and his friends.” The aide was told that they didn’t take reservations, but they were invited to stand in line with other customers. John didn’t stand in line, but we’re pretty sure someone, (probably a Scientology slave) was sent to fetch a bucket of chicken for him.

JOHN TRAVOLTA AND THE SWEATHOGS REUNITE FOR TV LAND AWARDS

We have to give John Travolta a pat on the back for agreeing to appear on The TV Land Awards 2011 (airing April 17) with the cast of “Welcome Back Kotter.” Most break-out stars don’t want to look back at the shows that started them off in the business. The role of Vinnie Barbarino launched Travolta to incredible success. The other guys, not so much. But it will be fun to see them again. Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Ron Palillo, and Marcia Strassman are set to appear- Gabe Kaplan and Robert Hegyes are still thinking it over.

CAN JOHN TRAVOLTA FILL JOHN GOTTI SR’S ITALIAN SHOES?

We were floored to hear that John Travolta is first choice to play the “Dapper Don,” John Gotti Sr, in the story of his life. The film’s executive producer Marc Fiore and John Gotti Jr, along with director Nick Cassavetes, met with Travolta at an Italian restaurant in LA to discuss the deal. Junior Gotti wants John to play his father and he’d like James Franco to play himself! (Imagine THAT ego!) We had no idea that Junior Gotti was so open minded – he has no objection to casting a Scientologist of questionable sexual preference to play his legendary mobster father! And WHO will play Victoria Gotti – Charlize Theron?

KELLY PRESTON NEVER ASKS “WHERE’S JOHNNY?”

Teflon John Travolta spent the week before Christmas with a bunch of male friends at the Stowe Mountain Lodge in Vermont and his wife Kelly Preston had no objection. When Scientologist John and his buddies weren’t skiing they were getting spa treatments and massages or indulging at all-guy dinners at the luxurious lodge. (It sounds like a slumber party!) Travolta’s all-male getaways are nothing new – in August he partied with eight male friends in Las Vegas. (To his credit John DID spend Christmas with Kelly, Ella, and new baby Benjamin.) Travolta continues to ignore the allegations Robert Randolph made in The Enquirer that he had gay encounters in steam rooms and health spas.

Carrie Fisher may have opened herself up to a lawsuit from John Travolta – and it’s a shame because she really likes him. Carrie, who is hilariously honest about the people in her own family, didn’t hesitate to talk to The Advocate when they brought up the subject of Travolta filing a lawsuit against a website who called him gay. She said “Everyone knows John is gay and we don’t really care. I’m sorry he’s uncomfortable with it – it only draws more attention when you make a legal fuss.“ Travolta IS litigious when it comes to his sexual preference – so Carrie beware!

We found the perfect Christmas gift for John Travolta. The future is here. We’ve long dreamed about flying cars and now you can have one for around $250,000. A company called Terrafugia is now taking orders on their new prototype that they call a “transition roadable aircraft.” The pilot can literally land at a local airport, fold up the wings by pressing a button, and drive home! The company has about 80 interested buyers so far and they’re striving to bring down the price. We wonder who the first celebrity flier will be.

Last weekend John Travolta flew his own plane and visited India for the first time with his daughter Ella, 10. (Pregnant Kelly Preston stayed home.) He was in Mumbai to promote the Breitling watch collection, and according to the local paper brought his own team of hairstylists, makeup artists, and a nutritionist for the two day visit. At the evening ceremony, Bollywood stars tried to coax John into dancing a few steps to music from his 1977 movie Saturday Night Fever, but he politely declined.

TEFLON JOHN TRAVOLTA DOESN’T BOTHER TO DENY GAY SEX CLAIMS

How DOES John Travolta get away with it? Accounts of Travolta’s liason with a porn star and dozens of male sexual encounters in steam rooms and spas don’t seem to affect him or his career or his marriage in the slightest. In fact, John has never DENIED any of these claims. This week’s cover story in The Enquirer details a new book by Robert Randolph called “You’ll Never Spa in This Town Again” and the author claims that “family man” Travolta has been a regular at gay spas in West Hollywood for years. And, of course, Randolph passed a polygraph test. As startling as this news IS, other papers- including the British tabloids – haven’t picked it up, and nobody’s paying much attention. The Enquirer scoop about John Edwards’ love child was monumental and we believe this story is just as accurate and sensational. Also odd is the fact that the story is NOT on the Enquirer website. We’re starting to wonder if all Kelly >Preston’s babies have been via test tube.
