NEXT CELEBRITY FAD: THE FLYING CAR!
We found the perfect Christmas gift for John Travolta. The future is here. We’ve long dreamed about flying cars and now you can have one for around $250,000. A company called Terrafugia is now taking orders on their new prototype that they call a “transition roadable aircraft.” The pilot can literally land at a local airport, fold up the wings by pressing a button, and drive home! The company has about 80 interested buyers so far and they’re striving to bring down the price. We wonder who the first celebrity flier will be.

Why not? You can get away from traffic and get to your location faster and john travolta can afford it and what the heck this man already has a Jet.

I’m bettin Travolta will buy the first one. Altho I wouldn’t trust one for years until they’ve been out for a long time. Those wings being able to fold up make me think they wouldn’t be too trustworthy in the air and the whole thing looks kind of clunky still. But Travolta knows enough about flying to be able to determine if it’s feasable at this stage. I guess we’ll find out when the tabs show him cruising round Hollywood, etc, avoiding the paps.

The first celeb to own this will likely be a rapper who will bling it out with air bag suspension, spinner wheels and a chain-link steering wheel. Of course it will never be flown but will be featured on ‘MTV cribs’.
