ANNETTE BENING AND WARREN BEATTY: RULES DON’T APPLY

Sometimes rules don’t apply to Hollywood stars. We’re talking about Annette Bening and Warren Beatty here. Last month they went to see their 17 year old son Ben perform in “South Pacific” at his exclusive private prep school. Refreshments were served at halftime in the lobby for the wealthy famous parents of these students. Signs and workers warned audience members that NO food was allowed in the auditorium. But Annette and Warren brought plates of snacks right to their seats where they munched unmolested. No one had the nerve to stop them. (Actually we’re happy to hear their marriage is OK.)

KARDASHIAN KOLLECTION IS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT FOR SEARS

Kardashian designs have failed to help Sears bottom line. The Kardashian Kollection is a large group including dresses, shoes, handbags, lingerie, jewelry, etc but it failed to bring in the enthusiastic crowds that most celebrity products attract. Sears had hoped the Kardashians would pull in new shoppers and sell large quantities, besides giving them lots of publicity. Right now the “Kollection” which debuted in September, is on sale for 55% off.

ANGELINA JOLIE FOUND PEACE AND QUIET AT SIREN STUDIOS

Angelina Jolie had a photo shoot for The Hollywood Reporter at the fabulous modern Siren studios in Hollywood this week and a studio on the 3rd floor was reserved for her. Somehow the hungry paparazzi found out about the shoot and they were determined to sneak some pix. One went so far as to rent an aerial lift truck (a lift that sends a man up on a platform usually used to trim trees, repair wires, billboards etc) The photographer rode up on the platform only to find out the 3rd floor windows were opaque. Siren employees shooed away to paps by turning a hose on them. Meanwhile Angelina was oblivious to the drama outside. She loved being in her posh dressing room so much that she stayed for quite awhile after the shoot and wrote out her Christmas cards, enjoying the peace and quiet.

DITA VON TEESE RETAINED HER COMPOSURE BUT NEARLY LOST HER BALANCE

After a night of partying at The Playboy Club in London, Dita Von Teese walked out at 3:40 AM with her make up perfect and every hair still in place, unlike SOME party girls we know, who tumble out of clubs looking thrashed. She was, however, a little unsteady on her feet and nearly fell, but a bodyguard caught her in the nick of time.

His ailing 94 year old wife Zsa Zsa Gabor is presumably at home between hospital visits, so Prince Von Anhalt decided to spread some Christmas cheer by dressing up for a trip to Beverly Hills. The attention loving Frederic donned Bavarian shorts and vest with an ascot and some kind of bicycle legwear. He loves being photographed.

ZAC EFRON IS A GOOD TIPPER IN NEW ORLEANS


Zac Efron is in New Orleans filming The Paperboy with Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey, and he’s enjoying the city. One of his preferred restaurants is Arnaud’s because he loves the jazz band there. Arnaud’s is also a favorite of Nicoas Cage, who enjoys looking out the window and watching all the action on Bourbon Street. We’re told that Zac orders healthy food – usually fish – and one night he changed his clothes three times while eating dinner there.(?) He always refuses to get up and sing with the band but will take a photo with EVERY fan that asks. Oh, and he’s described as a good tipper “over 20 per cent.”

WATCH OUT KIM, KRIS HUMPHRIES HAS DECLARED WAR!

Since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, Kris Humphries morphed from shock to embarrassment to ANGER, and now he wants to get even. This marriage will NOT end quietly and quickly as Kim had hoped. According to CJ at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, Humphries’ request for an annulment claiming “fraud” is just the tip of the iceberg. He’s hired a dream team of Los Angeles lawyers (trial attorneys familiar with the courtroom) to prove “fraud” and depositions will be flying. Kris is going to embarrass Kim by having lawyers closely examine her bank accounts and assets and haul her friends (maybe even her ex Reggie Bush!) into court. Kim will certainly use her millions to delay and run up Kris’s legal tab, but that may backfire since he is asking HER to pay his legal bills. Our pal CJ sums it up: “Kim will rue the day she laid eyes on Kris Humphries!”

Blake Lively showed up on the set of “Gossip Girl” today in a great mood with her hair pinned back. She seemed oblivious to the fact that she appeared to have a big fat hickey on her neck. Number one suspect for the smooch mark is her “Green Lantern” costar Ryan Reynolds, with whom she has been keeping steady company.
