RIHANNA HAS A MACHO ROLE IN “BATTLESHIP”

Everyone is accustomed to seeing Rihanna in a variety of incredibly sexy outfits so her new movie will reveal a whole new side of her. The singer got her first film role in “Battleship” with Liam Neeson and Alexander Skaardgard. She plays an FBI agent with short hair, no makeup, and army camos. It’s a story about a fleet of international navy ships fighting off an alien attack. The alien creatures don’t look all that exciting, but Rihanna is hoping to get offers for more acting jobs.

WAYNE GRETZKY MARRIED A PIN-UP GIRL, BUT DOESN’T WANT HIS DAUGHTER TO BECOME ONE

We had to laugh when Wayne Gretzky got upset about his 22 year old daughter Paulina posted sexy photos of herself on Twitter. Really. What did he expect when he married a playboy cover girl? Wayne didn’t complain when his future wife Janet Jones appeared in a semi-nude layout in Playboy. Janet dabbled in acting and modeling and was known for her amazing body. Paulina apparently inherited a similar physique and similar ambitions. His sons are athletes, did Wayne expect his daughter to become a physicist? Since he still supports Paulina financially, Gretzky talked her into removing the photos, but we’re betting Playboy will make her an offer…. KIM KARDASHIAN WANTS TO BE ANGELINA JOLIE

Kim Kardashian must REALLY be worried about her tarnished image because all she’s done lately is get herself photographed doing charity work. We imagine the Kim money-making machine must have stalled and her alarmed mother Kris arranged the volunteer events and photographers for Kim. First, Kim served food on skid row for Thanksgiving. Now it’s been reported that she actually went to Haiti, eyelashes and all, to raise awareness for Maria Bello’s charity to help Haitian women get medical care. Certainly the photos from Haiti will surface soon with Kim looking “concerned and helpful.” Sorry, Kim, your motivations are transparent, you’ll never have Angelina Jolie’s charitable reputation.

KRISTIN CHENOWETH LAID DOWN THE LAW FOR DIVINE DESIGN

Every year Hollywood fashion fanatics eagerly anticipate the annual fundraiser Divine Design for Project Angel Food. Stores like L.A. Eyeworks, Brooks Brothers, and manufacturers like Elizabeth & James, posh furniture stores and gift shops, donate merchandise to be sold for 50% off and more for charity. The huge sale runs for six days and each day another 10% is knocked off the prices until the discount is 90%. (We got a great chartreuse bathing suit last year.) The shopping event is preceded by a lavish dinner for celebrities and Broadway darling Kristin Chenoweth was the special entertainment for the gala. Charity notwithstanding, Chenoweth was backstage when she actually heard the clink of dishes and waiters scurrying about. A tantrum exploded. She and her agent made a huge fuss and refused to go with the show! Kristin announced that she NEVER performed if food or drinks were being served. She wanted NO distractions. Event organizers panicked and ran around cutting off the table service, annoying diners. If anyone wanted a pat of butter for their roll, they were out of luck until Kristin was finished. Fortunately Kristin’s powerful voice soon had the audience mesmerized.

ASHTON KUTCHER IS MAKING THE MOST OF HIS SINGLE LIFE

Ashton Kutcher has big plans. He rented a 10,000 sq ft bachelor pad in the Hollywood Hills for $50,000 a month. The gorgeous modern architectural home has walls of glass that are fully retractable to bring the outside in. It has 5 bedrooms, 8 baths, and an infinity pool with stunning views in all directions. Naturally there’s a screening room and gym/massage area. Now that he’s split from Demi Moore and single, it looks like Ashton will be doing some big time entertaining.

We have to give Audrina Patridge credit for being a good sport. “The Hills” actress, despite her breast enhancement, hasn’t had a lot of desirable work come her way. But she’s spokesperson for Bongo, a not-so fancy fashion line from K-Mart and she does what she has to in order to keep everyone happy. This week she donned a tight little Santa’s helper outfit and handed out free cupcakes from a food truck with two shirtless guys on Hollywood Boulevard. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do.

And Courtney won’t stop parading around in public inappropriately attired until it happens! Offers have already come in, including VH-1’s offer to appear on Relationship Rehab for over $150,000, but the odd pair haven’t found any of the ideas to be “appropriate.” After all, their relationship is fine.
