South African singer/songwriter Tyla turned up at Clive Davis’s pre-Grammy party in this highly unusual and fun outfit. She almost looks like a cave girl with big bones twisted into her skimpy loin cloth. She gets points for originality (everybody else seemed to wear see-through mesh) -hers must be a South African designer. Tyla, 22, wore a gown to the award show and she WON a Grammy for Best African Music Performance, so it’s likely we will be seeing lots more of this cutie.

Brittany Mahomes is going through a major style transformation and as we reported, it was her newfound pal and fellow WAG (wives and girlfriends of pro athletes) Taylor Swift, who helped her. Although Glamour didn’t confirm that Taylor was behind the startling makeover, our source was RIGHT again. From a new hairstyle to updated make up and tailored clothing, Brittany hardly resembles her old self – all thanks to Ms. Swift.

You won’t read this anywhere else, but Margot Robbie is blaming her gimmicky red carpet Barbie pink gowns for possibly costing her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. As we previously revealed, Margot grew tired of dressing like a doll for major events and now she’s griping to pals that the cute but overplayed idea likely played a factor in her not earning a nomination today. Soon after the nominations were announced she confided to friends that dressing like Barbie for many occasions somehow minimized her onscreen efforts of transforming into the doll and she secretly feels it played a part in the snub.

We told you so! Just last week we revealed how Barbie star Margot Robbie was tired of dressing up like the doll. From promotional appearances to award shows, all of Margot‘s outfits mimicked Barbie’s various looks. After the Golden Globes – where she wore a Giorgio Armani interpretation of an iconic Barbie pink gown – Margot let it be known she was done dressing like the doll. As usual, our scoop was spot on. Exactly one week later, Margot appeared at the Critics Choice Awards in a red gown that did not copy any of Barbie’s past looks. Just as we told you, Margot was determined reclaim her own style and she DID it.

Margot Robbie is fed up with dressing like a doll. The Barbie star has appeared at countless promotional events dressed in some of Barbie’s most iconic costumes, and as we reported in July, she negotiated to KEEP all of the outfits and plans to auction them off for charity later. Margot showed up at The Golden Globes dressed in a pink sequined gown, which duplicated an iconic Barbie look, but she didn’t win the best actress award as many predicted. Margot is still hoping to get nominated for an Academy Award for the role but she’s already telling friends if she DOES score an Oscar nomination, she doesn’t want to show up to that event looking like Barbie. One of our fashion sources revealed that presidential candidate, Nikki Haley is now working with an established stylist to make her look more presidential. A Republican Super PAC just gave Nikki their practically unlimited checkbook, so now her campaign is flush with cash. As a result, she’s being seen as a potential Republican front runner, and someone who can dethrone the divisive Donald Trump. Nikki decided she needed a makeover, so she’s working with a NY based stylist on updating her wardrobe, accessories, makeup, and hair. Even though she’s a conservative Republican, she’s also seen as reasonable and moderate, so most of the top fashion designers are willing to work with her. As our source explained it, many of the designers who refused to dress Melania Trump due to her husband’s policies, are more than willing to work with Nikki. Look for subtle changes from now on – her new and improved look will be complete early next year.
