During the first season of Jersey Shore, Snooki became a household name, and The Situation, with all his idiosyncrasies, became the breakout star and started earning millions with many business opportunities. The youngest cast member, Vinny Gaudagnino, 25, was the quiet one. Now it’s HIS turn to shine – according to Deadline.com MTV is producing a reality talk show series “The Show With Vinny,” and he’ll interview celebrities at this family’s Staten Island home. (Did you know he has a college education?) Food and his eccentric family members will be prominently featured. SallyAnn Salsano, who created Jersey Shore, is producing so it looks promising.

ARIEL WINTER: THIS MOTHER DOESN’T KNOW BEST

At first we weren’t sure about who was really truthful in the Ariel Winter’s battle for emancipation from her mother. The 14 year old “Modern Family” star moved in with her 38 year old sister Shanelle and wants legal separation from her mother Chrystal Workman. Immediately, her mother INFORMED POLICE that she caught her daughter in bed with her 18 year old exboyfriend Cameron Palatas and reprimanded her and THAT’s why Ariel wants her freedom. (Ariel’s coworkers don’t believe it.) Keep in mind, Ariel’s sister Shanelle had similar problems with her mother and ended up in foster care twenty years ago. The mother sniffed that Shanelle “ran off with a gang member to a crack house.” THAT’S HOW SHE TALKS ABOUT HER DAUGHTERS! Modern Family sources have leaked info that Ariel’s mother was a nightmare on the set – tormenting Ariel about her weight and looks – and they wanted to ban her from the set. We have concluded that this mother is a monster and her daughters are way better off without her.

DENISE RICHARDS CAN’T DO ENOUGH FOR HURRICANE RESCUES

We have to admire Denise Richards for helping out the North Shore Animal League America shelter on Long Island, which has been inundated with hurricane rescues desperate for homes. Denise has a collection of damaged and sick dogs that she cares for at home, along with one 16 year old dog that was starved and abandoned. She brought her daughters along to volunteer also and the whole family fell in love with a black lab mix puppy (above) named Tara, so they took her home too. Sweet.

HILARY SWANK GOT A MILLION DOLLAR BOYFRIEND

Hilary Swank, 38, broke up with her agent boyfriend John Campisi this summer and she already has a new love interest. In fact, she’s been staying at the Paris apartment of Laurent Fleury, a successful French real estate broker. The couple recently returned to Los Angeles while Hilary films her new movie “You’re Not You” about a woman with Lou Gehrig’s disease – and we hope it’s not as depressing as it sounds. This is the fashion disaster of the weekend. Dior manages to make the beautiful and slim actress Marion Cotillard look both frumpy and dumpy at a New York screening of her movie “Rust and Bone.” The double layer dress seems to aim at a ”stained glass window” effect but it does NOTHING for the wearer. The drab neckline and sleeves are housedress-like and the length is awkward. Fortunately a bad dress is soon forgotten…

NEW MICHAEL JACKSON BOOK REVEALS HOW FRIENDS AND RELATIVES BILKED HIM

No matter how overdosed you might be on the subject of Michael Jackson – his private life does provide an interesting book. There’s always SOMETHING you didn’t know about his strange life. The latest expose is called “Untouchable: The Strange Life and Tragic Death of Michael Jackson” written by Randall Sullivan. We found his relationship with his family to be just as we suspected – he avoided them like the plague and they constantly tried to make money off him. In 2001, two tribute concerts celebrating Michael’s 30th anniversary in music were planned at Madison Square Garden. Each family member demanded $250,000 to attend, even for just sitting in the audience! When Jermaine learned that Michael’s take from the shows could reach 10 million, he pushed his parents to demand another $500,000 each. Even Michael’s friendships were costly – Marlon Brando chiseled money out of Michael by charging his “friend” a million dollars for a rambling “tribute video” for the event, which the crowd booed! And you should see what Elizabeth Taylor got! No wonder Michael was so paranoid. (Above, Jackson and Brando in the good old days)

DEMI MOORE: SUDDENLY TURNING 50 ISN’T SO AWFUL

Demi Moore is spending her 50th birthday in far-away places. Maybe she finally figured out there’s more to life than hanging out in Hollywood clubs with 20 year olds. She was one of the lucky celebrities invited to India for a lavish two day celebration thrown by Naomi Campbell for her billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin, who also turned 50. Pampered guests arrived in chartered planes and stayed at a luxurious $1000 a night hotel. All the women were given custom designed fashions to wear to the decadent parties. Maybe turning 50 isn’t so bad, after all.

It’s always fun to see Sophia Loren. She’s connected to a number of businesses – and one of them is the glamorous Italian jewelry company Damiani. They have a pricey Sophia Loren collection and she showed up at a recent PR event, looking spiffy – except for those oversize glasses. She has her own eyewear collection to promote also and might be overdoing it a bit by wearing TWO pairs of glasses at the same time.

Does this face look familiar? This is a special week for our actor friend Richard Tanner who does NOT bear a strong resemblance to Marilyn Monroe in the photo above, but he’s funnier. His one man show “Small Parts” is debuting with four out-of town performances November 15 thru 18 at the Flight Theater in Hollywood. We’ve seen part of this act and couldn’t get enough. Richard has been struggling -and sometimes working- as an actor in Hollywood for decades and he is LOADED with hilarious stories about the celebrities he’s worked with, and the TV shows and movies he appeared in. We LOVED his tale about the first major Hollywood party he went to and his revealing encounters with Rosie O’Donnell, Billy Crystal, Bette Midler etc. Richard’s amusing take on Hollywood (with an arsenal of visual delights) is priceless and we predict he will take this appealing show all the way to Broadway. HALLE BERRY HAD A RUDE AWAKENING IN COURT

As a celebrity, Halle Berry is accustomed to getting her way. Imagine her complete shock when a custody judge ruled that she and her daughter Nahla CANNOT move to France with Halle’s fiance Olivier Martinez. At least for now. Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubry doesn’t want his child to move so far away but Halle was confident that she could convince the judge that Nahla would be “safer” in France because of paparazzi laws. Apparently the astute judge didn’t consider paparazzi to be a “danger” – just an annoyance. We’re happy for Gabriel – but you can bet Halle has NOT given up on this issue. She always gets what she wants.
