The girl watching Russell Brand walk to his yoga class can barely contain her giggles. It’s 85 degrees in Los Angeles and Russell is wearing a leather coat over a sweater, wool hat, and yes again, LEG WARMERS with his flip flops. Katy Perry would scream! Apparently Russell is out to attract the lithe yoga girls and figures this outfit will make him look like an irresistible “sensitive yoga guy.”

TOM HANKS HAS THE WALT DISNEY LOOK DOWN PAT

Walt Disney has always been one of our heroes, and who better to play him in a movie than Tom Hanks? That explains why Tom has been promoting “Cloud Atlas” with that peculiar mustache. “Saving Mr Banks” is the story of Walt’s 20 year pursuit of the film rights to author PL Travers’ (played by Emma Thompson) novel “Mary Poppins.” Disney’s daughters adored the book and he promised to turn it into a movie. He developed an interesting relationship with Travers through the years of negotiation. We look forward to seeing vintage Disneyland. (Above are some photos from scenes filmed at Disneyland.)

BROOKE SHIELDS WAS ALWAYS GOOD TO HER LATE MOTHER TERI – AND IT WASN’T EASY

Brooke Shields mother Teri died from dementia related illness this week – she was well known for being an early “momager” like Kris Jenner. Teri managed Brooke’s career from her shocking appearance in the movie “Pretty Baby” at the age of 11, to her Calvin Klein jeans ads and beyond. In 1995 Brooke, with great difficulty, finally ended her business relationship with her mother. What few people realize is that Brooke was an amazing daughter and fiercely protective of her mother. Teri was an alcoholic and embarrassed Brooke on numerous occasions when she showed up at photoshoots and publicity events totally bombed. Young Brooke always made excuses and took care of her mother. Despite her mother’s humiliating behavior, Brooke was always patient and kind to Teri and looked after her. It was a difficult situation and we have always admired Brooke for this. SAM WORTHINGTON: DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?

Sam Worthington’s ordinariness is both a curse and a blessing. He and Leonardo DiCaprio starred in the two most popular movies of all time- Titanic and Avatar– but their lives are totally different. Leo continues to be a paparazzi target and his private life is all over the gossip columns. Maybe it’s partly because Leo has a very memorable face. Australian Sam Worthington is a good looking guy but has no distinctive characteristics. He enjoys privacy that Leo would envy, but he misses out on some perks. Leo is ushered to the best table at clubs and restaurants while Sam has to dig for his ID. He didn’t have it at the Atlanta bar Vortex and when they wouldn’t let him in he became belligerent and ended up arrested for disorderly conduct. He was in town filming “Ten” with Arnold Schwarzenegger but no one recognized him. Judging by the police photo above, we wouldn’t have let him in either.

PSY HAS UNIVERSAL APPEAL- EVEN PARISIANS LOVE GANGNAM STYLE!

Psy brought his Gangnam Style to Paris and the usually unflappable French went crazy for him. He performed in front of the Eiffel Tower and attracted an enthusiastic audience of thousands. It’s funny how the whole world seems to get a kick out of him.

ROBERT DENIRO IS TURNING JAPANESE

Robert DeNiro is keeping busy in Las Vegas where he’s filming the movie we told you about called “Las Vegas,” which is described as the “geriatric version of The Hangover.” DeNiro stars with Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline. Besides catching the Beatles “Love” show at The Mirage with Douglas, he’s keeping an eye on construction of the new Nobu Hotel of which he is a shareholder. The Japanese inspired boutique hotel consists of 181 rooms and suites within Caesars Palace, anchored by a posh Nobu restaurant. Everything has a Japanese edge – from the décor, to the exotic drinks in the minibar, to the bento boxes for breakfast. DeNiro says they are aiming for a customers who like Japanese food.

BRAD PITT HAS A THING FOR MARBLE BATHTUBS

Brad Pitt has long been obsessed with architecture and design, and he jumped at the chance to create his own line of modern furniture. Brad commissioned high-end furniture maker Frank Pollaro to make some things for his own home and they struck up a friendship. Frank saw Brad’s collection or sketches and suggested he create his own collection. Together they built around a dozen of Brad’s pieces to show in conjunction with Frank’s Art deco inspired furnishings on November 13 in New York. The prices will be high, but Brad points out that the designs might be recreated in more affordable materials in the future. Here’s a fun fact: Brad had an artisan working in his LA garage for many months creating a special had carved marble tub for his then wife Jennifer Aniston.

KATY PERRY SHOWS HER CREATIVE SPUNK

OK, just one more look back at Halloween. We think Katy Perry’s costume is really inspired. Keep in mind, most celebrities rent the sexiest costumes they can find, with little thought to originality. Katy went to a party at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery with her pal, actress Shannon Woodward, and they dressed as MTV’s memorable animated characters from the high school parody Daria. Katy was perfectly turned out as Daria’s wannabe hipster best friend Jane Lane, and Shannon was an accurate Daria. The one dimensional clothes are especially creative.

SEAL AND HIS WHIMSICAL ACCESSORIES

While Heidi Klum was enjoying the park with her children and faithful bodyguard Martin Kristen this weekend, her estranged husband Seal appeared at the airport looking slightly sinister. He was clad in yellow leather fingerless gloves and yellow nail polish, platform boots, and a grey overcoat. This past Halloween was Seal’s first without Heidi in years.

SORRY HALLE, URSULA ANDRESS REMAINS THE TOP BOND GIRL

Hands down, the most iconic Bond girl continues to be Ursula Andress who played Honey Ryder in “Dr No.” Her photo walking out of the ocean is as famous as Farrah Fawcett’s red bathing suit poster. Back in 1962, James Bond’s “girls” were ridiculously over-sexed playthings who were all too willing to jump into bed with 007. Not exactly a flattering portrait of the female sex. Every time a new James Bond film is released, Swiss- born Ursula Andress is trotted out for the festivities. It’s been fifty years since Dr No, and Ursula still looks good at 76.
