CAN STEVEN TYLER FUNCTION WITHOUT ERIN BRADY RUNNING HIS LIFE?

The possibility of a split between Steven Tyler and his fiancée Erin Brady has Aerosmith band mates and certain members of Steven’s family thrilled beyond words. Steven, 64, and Erin, 38, have been together since 2006, and the other musicians in Aerosmith feel she’s a negative influence on Steven (she got him back into drugs awhile back) and she has taken control of his life. The fact that Steven is gearing up for the band’s Global Warming tour indicates that Erin is somehow not included because the band doesn’t like having her around. Steven denies that they are actually “broken up” and he still may have feelings for her OR he might be trying to let her down easy.

BOY GEORGE CLEANED UP HIS ACT AND GOT A JOB

It looks like Boy George really DID turn over a new leaf after he got out of prison in the UK. You’ll recall he served time a few years ago for “imprisoning” a male escort in a drug-fueled frenzy. George says he’s been sober since March 2008, and he actually has a successful career as a club DJ. (The same job he had before the band Culture Club was formed.) In fact the 80’s icon told Punk Globe that he’s just finishing a world club tour and also has a record company where he remixes and creates dance music. Halle Berry and Nahla look like they’re having the time of their lives at Mr Bones Pumpkin Patch. Nahla is dressed up and has her face painted like Raggedy Ann and Halle looks like a doting mom. We can’t help but wonder if Halle is deliberately allowing these photos to be taken and plans to tearfully show them to the custody judge to prove that she and Nahla can’t get privacy in the US and should be allowed to move to France…

Nicole Kidman has the appropriate look of serenity in Monte Carlo as she films the title role in “Grace of Monaco.” Movie star-turned princess Grace Kelly was one of the most incredible beauties of all time and her royal shoes are not easy to fill, but Nicole appears to be doing fine. Tim Roth was cast to play Prince Rainier III. Director Olivier Dahn was responsible for “La Vie en Rose” so we have high expectations for this.

DON DRAPER ON THE BEACH IS A SIGHT TO BEHOLD

Don Draper is not just a hot commodity in the US, he and his Mad Men lifestyle are much admired in China. The LA Times reports that the 60’s era series is playing online with Chinese subtitles and fansites are multiplying. Part of the show’s appeal is said to be the fact that is closely resembles current Chinese culture – a high divorce rate, lots of smoking in the workplace, and a workforce dominated by men. Above, Jon Hamm is filming in Hawaii and we love his clean shaven look and manly trunks as opposed to grizzled guys in speedos today.

We were totally amused by this video posted by TheDailyWhat of Jeff Goldblum promoting Paypal. It has been slowed down a bit and that changes everything – Jeff sounds like he’s hopelessly drunk. Or maybe stoned. Actually the ad is much more effective with a “drunk” or “high” Jeff Goldblum.

LA Galaxy games were never a big thing in Hollywood, but since David Beckham started playing soccer with the team, everything changed. This weekend ‘s game against The Seattle Sounders had Victoria Beckham and her three sons in the stands along with Gordon Ramsay and Russell Brand. Little Harper is already getting very excited about the sport. (Those are Victoria’s white sleeved arms holding her up.)

Tom Cruise wants the world to know that he has NOT given up on Scientology so he made an appearance at a special church event in England. Tom is in the UK filming “All You Need is Kill” and he took time to attend a $3000 a ticket Scientology Patrons Ball in Gatwick. He wore the large gold diamond encrusted “Medal of Valor” that Scientology presented to him for his contributions to the organization. He doesn’t wear it often so this was a big deal. Just as we predicted, Tom became even more dependent on Scientology when Katie filed for divorce. They advised him on all legal matters and kept him company when he needed it. So he’s not distancing himself – he’s more involved than ever.

It makes no sense. This is one of the photos of Britney Spears in Lucky magazine that caused such an uproar among fans who resented the heavy photo-shopping and obvious wig. There were no complaints from Britney – because she has never looked better. (At least not in the last eight years.) Sure, the wig looks “wiggy,” but we bet Britney took it home and plans to wear it on The X-Factor. For some reason, Britney hasn’t found a hairdresser able to conquer her frazzled locks. Her own hair looks perpetually damaged and her extensions usually look fake. Maintaining her looks has never been high on Britney’s priority list. We think Lucky magazine did her a favor.

YIKES! IS THIS THE GUY WHO STOLE JOE SIMPSON’S HEART?

Uh oh. The Simpsons will want to bury their heads today. Rumors are flying that the young man who pulled Joe Simpson to the gay side is a 21 year old wannabe actor/model who calls himself Bryce Chandler Hill. He has windswept, highlighted, Justin Bieber hair, and a perfect pout. RadarOnline claims to have inside information about their relationship – perhaps one of Bryce’s friends is talkative. There are claims that Bryce is using Joe, 54, for his show biz connections, and other claims that Joe frequently plays golf with a young dark haired actor-type who is NOT Bryce. The plot thickens.
