NICKI MINAJ: DO YOU REALLY WANT TO SMELL LIKE HER?

We used to get a kick out of Nicki Minaj’s imaginative fashion sense and bold style. But it seems the more we get to know her, the less we like her. Her gangster-mouth tirade against Mariah Carey was uncalled for and to her credit, Mariah never stooped to Nicki’s level of vulgarity. Now she’s publicly embarrassed Steven Tyler by calling him a “racist” simply because he questioned her ability as a judge on American Idol. He openly apologized, but shouldn’t have, because she isn’t worthy of a response. Nicki is simply displaying her lack of education and upbringing – another candidate for charm school. WHAT ANGUS T JONES NEEDS IS CULT DEPROGRAMMING

The real tragedy in the Angus T Jones story is not the fact that he bad-mouthed his own TV series, but the fact that the 19 year old actor has been brainwashed into a cult. His parents’ divorce seems to have devastated the kid and he has no close ties to his family now. It’s when young people like him (especially wealthy ones) are adrift and ”lost” that cults like Scientology or “Forerunner Chronicles” step in and offer a solution. That video was a sad example of what they have done with his malleable mind. Hopefully “Two and a Half Men” producers can see what’s happening and NOT take it out on Jones by firing him. And hopefully there is a cult interventionist waiting in the wings…

The movie is written and directed by Turturro, who plays an aging male prostitute with Woody as his pimp. Sharon plays a busy dermatologist who hires Turturro for sex, if you can imagine THAT. DON’T OVERANALYZE: “LIZ AND DICK” ISN’T SHAKESPEARE – BUT IT’S A FUN RIDE

Far too much effort is being put into criticizing Lindsay Lohan’s performance in Lifetime’s “Liz & Dick.” For heaven’s sake, this is LIFETIME, not a Harvey Weinstein production. It was intended to entertain, and it did. The 1960’s locations and costumes and story were fun and colorful and reasonably appropriate. Although Lindsay’s “accent” sounded more “valley girl” than English born Liz’s, we had low expectations. Liz’s legendary weight struggles were totally ignored for some reason. Grant Bowler sounded enough like Richard Burton to get by. After all, it was simply the story of two famous self-absorbed alcoholics, not the greatest love story ever told. Certainly, it did little to enhance Lindsay’s acting reputation, but did no harm either. In spite of flaws, we enjoyed watching the movie and were quite entertained. Pass the popcorn. Admit it, weren’t you entertained too?

Charlie Sheen didn’t do his “Scary Movie 5” costar Lindsay Lohan a FAVOR when he gave her that $100,000 check to cover her IRS debt. Why? Because every time Lindsay gets off the hook for one of her crimes and misdemeanors, it means she didn’t learn her lesson and will probably do it again, simply because she got away with it. Lindsay’s illegal behavior is likely to continue because she’s rarely punished and chooses to blame everybody but herself for her actions. Maybe Charlie had good intentions, but we can think of a lot of better things to do with that money.
