CHRISSY TEIGEN HAS BEEN PUNISHED ENOUGH

We’re just about ready to forgive and forget when it comes to Chrissy Teigen. After all, she DOES have adorable kids and her husband John Legend seems like such a nice guy. Teigen HAS been held accountable for those cruel and nasty messages she sent to other women on social media around ten years ago. She lost a lot of work (her cookware was dropped at Macy’s and Target) along with other lucrative cooking related opportunities. Plus the image of her “perfect family unit” was shattered. She HAS apologized and certainly learned a lesson from all this. And if John can forgive her – so can we. The Legends with little Luna DO look adorable taking a stroll in New York this week…

BEN AFFLECK: MAKING UP FOR LOST TIME

Ben Affleck appeared to be the perfect son and father today. He took his mother and his three kids, Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9, out for an educational afternoon. The family went to the California Science Center museum in LA. It was probably most interesting to Samuel- right now the museum is featuring an impressive display of LEGO art which includes hundreds of sculptures of full size animals and recreated art like the Mona Lisa. It’s nice to take a day off from J.Lo and spend quality time with the kids…

HARVEY WEINSTEIN IS GOING TO HATE THIS MOVIE

Carey Mulligan does, indeed, look like a nervous but determined reporter in this shot taken on a NY street. She’s playing New York Times reporter Megan Twohey, who along with Jodi Kantor, wrote the book She Said, detailing their pulitzer prize winning sexual harassment investigation into Harvey Weinstein that sparked the #MeToo movement – and got him a 23 year prison sentence. Megan and Jodi’s book came out around the same time as Ronan Farrow’s book and he got more publicity, but these women started it all. It’s lucky that the New York Times had the courage and the budget to finance this long and convoluted investigation- Weinstein did everything imaginable to stop it. Universal plans to release the film, co-produced by Brad Pitt’s Plan B Company, based on the book She Said in November, 2022. We wish someone would investigate what Weinstein’s ex-wife Georgina Chapman (owner of Marchesa fashions) KNEW or didn’t want to know. Did she feel her Marchesa brand (which Harvey promoted) was more important than her husband’s crimes?

OLIVIA WILDE AND THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Here’s a situation that a lot of kids and parents can identify with this week. Back in LA, Olivia Wilde dropped her kids off for their first day of school in a very long time and it was quite emotional. The family spent most of the summer in Europe where Olivia’s ex Jason Sudeikis was working and Olivia was living with her new boyfriend Harry Styles. Fortunately they all seem to get along. It helps that Jason’s new series Ted Lasso is a big hit…

LAURA PREPON: LEAVING SCIENTOLOGY IS NOT EASY!

It’s a tangled web that Scientology weaves. This week Orange is the New Black actress Laura Prepon stated that she has not been involved in Scientology for the past five years – around the time she started dating her now-husband Ben Foster. She also emphasized that Ben has NEVER been a member of the church. Turns out that Laura was drawn into Scientology in the late 90’s by her That 70’s Show costar (and lifetime Scientologist) Danny Masterson.The “church” no doubt rewarded Danny handsomely for recruiting a celebrity. Laura also dated Danny’s brother Christopher for 8 years. Coincidentally, Ben Foster was Danny’s BFF during the early 2000’s and people assumed HE was a Scientologist also. Ben claims he wasn’t and now whenever Laura talks about leaving the church, she makes it a point to mention that Ben was never a member. Now that Danny Masterson is up on rape charges by several women, and the “church” is accused of a cover-up, celebrity Scientologists are distancing themselves, and we hope some ARE really cutting ties. We continue to theorize that the church helps celebrity members avoid paying taxes on their big incomes by faking and writing off huge church contributions – among other things- and they make it VERY difficult to leave. If only churches paid taxes like everyone else, this would all end!

DIANE KEATON’S LOVE STORY

Diane Keaton has no qualms about telling the world she’s madly in love with her dogs. She doesn’t hesitate to get right down on the ground to communicate with them. This is either her young female Golden Retriever Reggie or her older female Emmie. She spent the pandemic isolating with just her dogs and says “The love that I feel for all the dogs that I’ve had in my life is unlike any other love that I’ve experienced.” Take note, Warren Beatty!

JULIANNE HOUGH REALLY LOVES THOSE FREEBIES

Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough made the MOST of her time at the Day of Indulgence party on Sunday. Looks like she stocked up on just about everything that fit her and more… Will she make it to her car without help? That white bag on her back is full of Spanx which she might need when she appears on The Bachelorette. ABC wants Julianne, who happens to be divorced and between boyfriends, to appear on the show to boost ratings, which have sunk to an all-time low. Julianne is currently on a break from DWTS, and she’s definitely open to appearing on an upcoming season.

THE DAY JENNIFER LOPEZ AND EMME INDULGED…

Forget the Oscars, the dreamiest and most envied Hollywood party of the year is producer Jennifer Klein’s Day of Indulgence party. The all-female celebrity invitees are pampered with massages and pedicures and allowed to shop for free samples of a huge array of merchandise- clothing (like Spanx, designer jeans etc) jewelry, sunglasses, exclusive beauty products, amazing chocolates and treats— all the while indulging in an incredible array of sweet desserts and gourmet food. Each guest leaves with a big suitcase packed with free gifts! Jennifer Lopez brought daughter Emme, 13, to her first Indulgence party and we were surprised to see how cute little Emme dressed like a grandma for the occasion – maybe she didn’t want to look like the youngest one there…

ALEX RODRIGUEZ: THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

Former NY Yankee Alex Rodriguez wants to world to know he is THRIVING in spite of being so publicly dumped by his fiancee Jennifer Lopez for Ben Affleck. Every day he wakes up to new photos and stories in the press about Jennifer and Ben- SOME guys would have “disappeared” under these circumstances. But Alex has been EVERYWHERE- he vacationed on his 46th birthday in the South of France with attractive NFL reporter Melanie Collins– the same trip he had once planned with J.Lo. And of course, paparazzi caught it ALL. This week he also visited the Field of Dreams baseball field in Iowa where the Yankees played the Chicago White Sox, and he met Kevin Costner. KHLOE KARDASHIAN: LOSING TOUCH WITH REALITY?

Khloe Kardashian has waaaaaay too much time on her hands. It appears she is the least productive of the Kardashian/Jenner sisters. She seems to spend her days taking selfies and meticulously photoshopping (or “Facetuning”) every tiny flaw she perceives on herself. No longer satisfied with slimming her jaw and clarifying her skin, she’s also slimming her arms and body. (Of course she may have professional help doing this) but she posts these unnaturally glamorous pics of herself on a daily basis. There’s nothing WRONG with her natural looks- who does she think she’s fooling? We’re guessing she’s carefully avoiding the paparazzi these days, because THEIR photos don’t lie…
