We met Seal at a party in the early 90’s and found him to be quite unfriendly. At the time we didn’t realize what a difficult life he’d had or how he got those scars on his face. Turns out he had a broken up childhood- in and out of foster care in the UK, and on his own at the age of 15. He was just 23 when he was diagnosed with an autoimmune form of lupus that causes chronic sores and deep scarring on the face, ears and scalp, along with permanent hair loss. Can you IMAGINE being cursed with that disease at the age of 23? The disease is in remission now, but the scars are permanent. Despite all, the Kiss From a Rose singer managed to have a stellar career and sell over 20 million albums. The Rolling Stones have been itching to resume their covid cancelled USA No Filter tour, but according to Roger Friedman, it turns out they’re going to be missing one man. Drummer Charlie Watts, 80, had some sort of surgical procedure that was described as successful. BUT his doctors decided he needs more rest and recuperation. Watts asked his friend Steve Jordan to play drums for him on the tour – Jordan says he’ll be happy to give up his seat at the drums as soon as Charlie recovers.
Every time we see a photo of 85 year old Woody Allen, it makes us sad. The documentary Allen v Farrow seemed to seal his fate and we’re not entirely sure it was fair. This is a man who LIVED to make movies. And for the most part, we really enjoyed them. We are still not sure he was guilty of inappropriately touching his adopted daughter Dylan, when she was 7. Certainly Mia Farrow was highly motivated to enhance this claim. It’s strange that when this story surfaced, NO OTHER people came forward with similar claims against Woody. A child molester who does it only once is rare indeed. So far, Woody has not been given the opportunities to make films in Europe that Roman Polanski enjoys- and Polanski admitted he had sex with a 13 year old. Such a sad situation…

We weren’t surprised to see Kris Jenner promoting some item she’s involved with on Instagram. It’s a Getsafely cleaning product that she claims “smells great and actually works.” What DID surprise us is the extent of photoshopping in the photo! Looks like the Kardashians have become the leading experts in image altering, and it’s getting out of hand. Kris actually looks less like a human, and more like a cartoon character standing in Bed Bath & Beyond!

Fans mobbed her for autographs at the Suicide Squad 2 premier this week – her platinum blond character Harley Quinn, described as “a criminal psychiatrist turned homicidal moll” has appeared in 3 movies so far. In this latest version, Harley is “dating” and, of course, looking for love in all the wrong places. Margot’s hair won’t be brown for long- she’s set to do a live-action Barbie film written by Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach.

Nice to see Katie Holmes out and about again – and with a cute guy! Katie and her restaurant boyfriend Emilio Vitolo Jr split last Spring after months of showing some very public affection. She seemed quite smitten with him, but friends warned her he was TOO fond of the limelight and truly enjoyed being followed by paparazzi when they were together. Emilio and Jamie Foxx are the ONLY two males that Katie’s been seen with since she split with Tom Cruise in 2012! It’s a big day on the set of the SATC reboot And Just Like That because Mr Big, played so well by Chris Noth, is back, and he’s up to his old tricks. Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris were rehearsing lines on a New York street when this photo was taken, and both Carrie and Big look miserable. Before he and Carrie got married, Big often chose work over his private life, and Carrie felt neglected. Insiders are speculating about the storyline for the new series and rumor has it that Big is overworking his way toward a painful divorce. One cannot avoid seeing all the once-normal young women who have become Kim Kardashian “lookalikes” desperately trying to achieve a fraction of her success.
