Openly gay Chris Colfer, 20, plays Kurt on “Glee,” and we had no idea he was “shy” off-camera. He recently did a photo shoot and one of the production people warned the extras “He’s very shy- do NOT approach him, talk to him, or look at him. He will not respond!” (Either he’s “shy” or he’s awfully full of himself already.)

What star hasn’t had the “don’t look them in eye” story attached to them? Even Streisand said it was Hollywood folklore horseshit.
He didn’t appear shy when he won the Golden Globe and spoke about being out there and proud. I thought he was molding himself into the role of spokesperson, and that is not a role where shyness is an asset.
Glee was cute and fun to watch last year. Now it’s boring and preachy. I stopped watching it.
Glee sucked from the beginning imho. All it does is uplift the gay community and approve homosexuality. This is the most obvious looking gay man (and gay voice) e.v.e.r.
