JONAH HILL: HIS MAKEOVER GAVE HIM AN EGO BOOST

Dane Cook posted this photo on Instagram with CAPTION THIS. It’s a still from 2007’s Superbad featuring accused “emotional abuser” Jonah Hill as a nerdy high school kid desperate for female company. Jonah was a totally different person back then- he was the chubby funny, guy with the curly hair who couldn’t get a girlfriend. For the past few years, Jonah has been giving himself a TOTAL makeover. He moved to the beach, learned to surf and started doing it every day. He lost weight, cultivated a tan, and his hair turned blonde! We’re thinking the thinner and better looking he got, the more powerful he felt. The surfer girl he dumped for his baby-mama posted texts Jonah sent -indicating he attempted to control her behavior. The new improved Jonah figured he could get away with that stuff!

SNEAKERS, NOT MUSIC, MADE KANYE WEST A MULTI-BILLIONAIRE

By far the most appalling news we’ve heard this week is the fact that Kanye West, the most self-congratulatory performer of all time, couldn’t get elected President, but is now the wealthiest black person in US history! (Yes, he is the third richest celebrity in the world – even surpassing Oprah! ) It’s appalling because Kanye’s already out-of-control ego will no doubt soar to new heights. His Yeezy deal with Adidas earned Kanye far more money than his music catalog, and his Gap deal added to that. He also owns a big chunk of Kim’s SKIMS company. Since they had an iron-clad prenup, she will NOT be walking off with half his fortune. Kanye is already fond of comparing himself to Picasso and describing himself as a genius. Actually, he was smart to move to Wyoming, which has low taxes and NO state tax – whatever he is building there will be closely watched by other envious rappers. Whether Kanye does significant things with his money remains to be seen…

KANYE WEST WANTS YOU TO THINK HE VOTED

Kanye West revealed the depth of his incredible egomania when he had himself filmed voting in Wyoming. (Yes, Wyoming – that’s where he lives now) He wrote himself into the ballot – because he failed to get his name on the ballot in the state. But that’s ALL he did. Kanye did not even attempt to vote for ANY of the other candidates or issues on the ballot. Which just goes to show how little he really cares about contributing to Wyoming or his own country. It’s Kanye’s World and HE’S the only thing that matters.

Burt Reynolds Ego

NOT EVERYBODY IS MOURNING BURT REYNOLDS

Interesting to note that there are no exes or females weeping at the death of Burt Reynolds, despite the fact that he considered himself one of the hottest commodities ever to bless Hollywood. For years we covered the macho actor’s antics for Star Magazine and every year he became more unlikable. Literally every woman he either dated or married left the relationship despising him. Burt was the epitome of the egocentric and egotistical 1970’s man – women were good for one thing. Now reporters are cornering his exes for comments about his death and they have nothing nice to say – the best they can come up with is “We’ll miss his sense of humor…”
(It’s also odd that there are no photos of Burt with his adult son Quinton)

BURT REYNOLDS AT 82: EGO STILL INTACT

Our earliest memory of Burt Reynolds was the uproar made over his Cosmo centerfold. Back in the 70’s, a hairy naked man smoking a cigar with a smirk on his face while reclining on a fur rug, was apparently appealing. That and five years spent as Top Boxoffice Draw fueled Reynolds’ ego. He even imagined that he resembled a young Marlon Brando. Burt claims that careless, tabloid documented marriages and bad investments led to bankruptcy and a less glamorous life. But Reynolds still has that vanity – he uses a cane, but still wears Tom Cruise style elevator shoes, a carefully styled toupee, and his face is tight and relatively wrinkle free.

Caught in the Act Ego Liar, Liar! Ryan Lochte

RYAN LOCHTE – WHICH IS WORSE: THE LYING, OR THE LAME APOLOGY?

Could we possibly dislike the grill-wearing Ryan Lochte any MORE? Just wait and see. His swim teammates would probably love to lynch him for stealing all their glory when they returned triumphantly to the USA. We bet those guys involved in the “incident” think he’s a creep for leaving town FAST after delivering his tawdry story – HE LEFT THEM HOLDING THE BAG! He’s 32 years old and still peeing in public and drunkenly vandalizing public restrooms? And LYING to his mother? Certainly Brazilians are disgusted with his smug attempt to make himself look brave and their country look dangerous. We are SO grateful for those security cameras that told us the truth! His lawyer obviously prepared that carefully worded shifty “apology” that totally skirted the issue and admitted nothing. Thank you Ralph Lauren for removing his photos from your ads! We’ve seen more than enough of him.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN KANYE WEST AND MUHAMMED ALI

It slowly dawned on us that Kanye West is desperately hoping to be compared to Muhammed Ali. Ali WAS the most recognizable person in the world during his prime years as a renowned athlete and he was thrilled by that fact. Kanye is doing everything he can to become THAT famous himself. Kanye imitates Ali with his egotistical rants about how he is an artistic GENIUS. Ali did declare himself “pretty” and brag about his fighting ability but he did it with a sly sense of humor and fun. His tirades were aimed at improving race relations, so needed at the time. He was usually fun and likeable, but serious when it was appropriate. Kanye is all about HIMSELF – his scowling rants grab attention, but not likeability. Ali was a playful generous guy who lived by his religion. You couldn’t NOT like Muhammed Ali, but Kanye West is NOT easy to like…

IT’S ALL ABOUT TYRA BANKS

Tyra Banks must REALLY be feeling entitled lately, according to her behavior at the opening night of the Broadway show “A Time to Kill.” The Daily News Confidential reported that she arrived at the celebrity laden event in flip flops and no makeup. She tried to slip in a side door to avoid the red carpet altogether but since there WAS no side door she had to rush across the red carpet to the front door. Other celebrities invited to the big event graciously posed for photos and signed autographs while Tyra scooted inside. Has Tyra forgotten that the REASON she is given free tickets to opening nights is because she is EXPECTED to pose for photos and publicize the event? Continue behaving like that and your invitations are likely to dry up!

Ego Jimmy Kimmel Kanye West

KANYE WEST: WHICH IS BIGGER – HIS MOUTH OR HIS EGO?

Just when you thought Kanye West couldn’t put his foot farther into his mouth- he managed to top himself on Jimmy Kimmel! Every conversation with Kanye quickly turns to bragging about himself. He declares himself to be a “creative genius” and an “artist” (aren’t these compliments that OTHER people make are supposed to say about you?) Apparently he feels that brilliant artists like himself are superior to others and should be treated as such. He went on to say “All I care about is protecting my girl and my baby!” From WHAT? we’d like to know. Terrorists? Kanye also told Jimmy that Kim Kardashian should have a star on the Walk of Fame – the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce turned her DOWN – “no reality stars!” Kanye is furious and says “These people aren’t modern.” Jimmy Kimmel managed to keep his composure throughout the tirade.

IS SIMON COWELL CALLING KANYE WEST A MONSTER?

We always thought Simon Cowell had an enormous ego, but even HE is in awe of Kanye West’s narcissism. Not long after Kanye’s paparazzi tantrums and his insane feud with Jimmy Kimmel, (proving that West has NO sense of humor,) and claimed to have invented “leather jogging pants,” Simon expressed his opinion. Even smug Simon was taken aback by Kanye declaring himself to be “the number one rock star on the planet.” Simon thinks Kanye‘s ego is out of whack and commented “Success doesn’t CREATE the monster- it ENABLES the monster.”
