WENTWORTH MILLER: VERY HIGH ON THE SPECTRUM

Couldn’t resist pulling out this old photo of me and Wentworth Miller – taken around 2006 or 7, when I pounced on him outside the Arclight Theater in Hollywood. He could NOT have been sweeter or more accommodating- even to a tabloid journalist! Back when Prison Break was on the air they filmed close to Larchmont Village (where I live) and he patronized the shops there. Every shopkeeper told me how smart and well-mannered he was – they had nothing but nice things to say about him. His announcement today that he is autistic will no doubt create a great deal of favorable interest in the complicated condition. There are many degrees of autism (Wentworth graduated from Princeton!) and a lot of people high on the spectrum are never diagnosed. Wentworth did the world a favor…

WENTWORTH MILLER IS BACK IN PRISON

Nice to see that Wentworth Miller, 44, is still as handsome as ever – he was named Man of the Year and put on the cover of Attitude magazine in the UK. Three years ago he came out in Hollywood publicly and very gracefully. Next year his series Prison Break: Sequal is returning due to popular demand. We like him when he plays intellectual characters, but he seems to make a lot of money doing beefy action roles.

We really don’t want to see Wentworth Miller as a bad guy, but it’s better than not seeing him at all. Since Prison Break went off the air, the Princeton grad has been successfully writing movie scripts, and absent from our prying eyes and ears. It so happens he is returning to TV on CW’s The Flash, which premiers tonight. Wentworth’ As much as we try to avoid DC comic inspired shows, Wentworth is worth suffering for.

WENTWORTH MILLER CAME OUT AS A HERO

We’ve always had a crush on “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller and it never mattered that he was gay. We’re not sure if it was common knowledge, but it wasn’t important. In 2007 we happened to bump into Wentworth at the Arclight Theater in Hollywood. We were giddy with excitement and remember that he looked very clean and smelled delicious. He was also very friendly and allowed Belissa Cohen to take the photo above. Six years later, the elegant and intelligent Wentworth picked the right time to come out – he was invited to appear at a Russian film festival and declined due to Russia’s anti-gay legislation.
Part of his letter was printed in The Advocate:
“As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes,” Miller wrote in the letter, posted on GLAAD’s website. “However, as a gay man, I must decline.”
You’ve gotta love him.

"Stoker" Prison Break Resident Evil Wentworth Miller

WENTWORTH MILLER: WAY SMARTER THAN HE LOOKS

Sorry Vin, but no one looks better with a shaved head than Wentworth Miller. We haven’t seen enough of that head since “Prison Break” went off the air, but he’ll soon be appearing in “Resident Evil: Afterlife” with Milla Jovovich. But that’s not ALL he’s doing, according to Deadline New York. It seems Wentworth is now using the degree in English Literature he earned at Princeton. He’s written two scripts, using the fake name Ted Foulke, and Fox Searchlight is negotiating to buy one called “Stoker.” It’s about an eccentric teen with a mysterious uncle who appears after her father’s death. Carey Mulligan and Jodie Foster are attached to star. No worries about Wentworth’s future.

MAYBE WENTWORTH MILLER SHOULD GO BACK TO PRISON

The once super-hot “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller has let himself go since the show ended in 2009. Getting out of “prison” meant that Wentworth lost that sexy shaved head, tattoos, and muscular build. Now that he has a full head of curly hair and a more rounded face and body, he’s rarely recognized. But the UK’s Daily Mail spotted him, above right, hiking with a friend. Wentworth will next be seen in “Resident Evil: Afterlife” with Milla Jovovich due to be released in September.

Prison Break is back on the air so it’s time for a sexy photograph of our favorite “prisoner” Wentworth Miller. Seems like only yesterday that Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller was working as a temp for the Friedman Agency on Sunset Strip. Actually it was 2000 to 2001 and a former receptionist there remembers him well. “He was the most popular temp at the agency. Whenever they got a call for a top level job and they needed someone really competent and smart or good-looking “for the front office” – they sent Wentworth. And wherever they sent him – he was so well mannered and efficient that the company wanted to KEEP him. CAA wanted him to be an agent assistant at $15 an hour. But Wentworth didn’t want permanent office work – he wanted to act. “

WENTWORTH MILLER: A CHANCE MEETING

Last night we had a wonderful experience at the Arclight theater. We were walking out after seeing Notes on a Scandal and my companion was remarking about how bad the villainous leading character made lesbians look. (Still, it IS a good movie) We noticed a mob of fans and photographers and when we investigated we found dreamy Prison Break star Wentworth Miller was the object of their attention. You couldn’t miss him – he’s tall and drop-dead handsome. We were tongue-tied, but managed to ask him for a photo. We were struck by how polite and patient he was. And he was SOOO clean. Certainly the most delectable actor on TV.
