HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW

King Charles’ health made the news after he appeared in public over the recent holidays looking ashen. Our well placed Royal source reveals that there’s a PLAN in place to have Charles step aside later this year and have his son Prince William become King. There’s a whole bunch of formalities to sort through, and in addition William wants to make sure his wife, Kate (who had her own health battle in 2024) is up for the task since she will be crowned queen. As of now though we hear the plan is for Charles to announce his decision to step aside within the upcoming months.

Donald Trump Jr. rang in 2025 with his new girlfriend, Palm Beach socialite, Bettina Anderson at the annual NYE party at Mar-A-Lago while his former fiancé Kimberly Guilfoyle was nowhere in sight. Here’s what we know. Kimberly cashed out when she agreed to walk away silently from the romance, securing not only an ambassadorship but also a large lump sum payment, AND a solemn promise that the Trump family would introduce her to an eligible bachelor. My source says that before Kim agreed not to cause any problems she insisted on the cash payout and at least a few introductions to powerful and wealthy men. Wealthy bachelors beware!

Meghan Markle made headlines for her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan where the royal-by-marriage will share lifestyle tidbits. Here’s what we know. This is only the START in Meg’s quest to become the next Martha Stewart. She’s frantically taking meetings with major retailers as she hopes to expand her brand into everything from beauty products and pet food to furniture and fashion. My source says Meg is also eyeing retail locations in upscale areas (your neighborhood?) to open pop up stores to launch her products.

Armie Hammer appeared on a podcast this week to discuss his sexual proclivities and reveal what really happened when he was all but canceled. Armie also mentioned that he’s working on his comeback (old news to our readers) but we just heard this: Armie has had a few top secret meetings with Netflix. (to their credit, they never back away from scandal or buy into cancel culture) We hear that the streaming giant is trying to figure out a place for Armie whether it be a scripted series or a biopic on his life. One way or the other, expect to hear Armie and Netflix teaming up on an upcoming project.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made headlines for finally settling their divorce 8 years after splitting up. We just heard that as part of the deal both agreed NOT to badmouth the other, but their CHILDREN are free to speak their minds. Their infamous fight aboard a private jet where Brad was allegedly drunk and physical has never truly been discussed, but that could all change. Since the kids retained the right to speak up that’s exactly what is likely to happen. We hear that the oldest, Maddox, is pushing to tell the world everything about the incident – as well as what it was like having Brad as an adopted dad. Naturally Brad is dreading the thought and hopes to leave the past in the past, but for now, Maddox and some of the other kids want to talk. (Dare we assume Angelina is encouraging them?)

HERE’S WHAT WE KNOW

Martha Stewart was all over the news for her popular Netflix documentary, and here’s what we know. While Martha dropped some bombshells (including that her first husband was aggressive in bed and she liked it!) she’s saving even MORE of the juicy scoops for round two. While it hasn’t been announced yet, my source says Netflix has greenlit a second documentary which will reveal more secrets from Martha’s life. My source adds that Martha is relishing the newfound attention -especially since she’s reaching an entirely new audience.

Sean Diddy Combs is still behind bars, but his Beverly Hills house is in the news because it’s been sitting on the market with no offers and barely any interest. I’m hearing this from my well placed real estate source: behind closed doors, the city is putting together an offer to purchase the estate (where numerous sex crimes have allegedly taken place) demolish it, and turn the area into a green space. While Beverly Hills can certainly afford to buy the property, one of the things holding up the plan is persuading the neighbors. We can exclusively reveal their pitch is this… “Would you rather live next to a park or a tourist attraction?” Sight-seeing busses loaded with tourists have recently added the home to their tours, causing traffic in the residential neighborhood and some of the neighbors are livid.

Kristin Cavallari made headlines after she was seen hanging out with her ex-boyfriend Mark Estes just weeks after breaking up with him. This should come as no surprise to loyal readers, since we previously reported that although the May/December couple were kaput, they were maintaining a friends with benefits arrangement. We are hearing that is exactly what happened and this isn’t the first time the duo have seen each other since splitting, it is just the first time they were photographed together in public.

Speaking of breaking up, Valerie Bertinelli was in the news since her once promising relationship with Mike Goodnough surprisingly ended. We are hearing that while long distance played a major part in the split since he lives on the East Coast and she’s a California girl, that wasn’t the only cause. According to my source, Valerie had some serious trust issues because Mike would go dark and not respond to texts or calls and that didn’t sit well with the One Day at a Time star. While Valerie didn’t have concrete evidence she suspected something was up and that’s why she was the one who called it quits.

Finally, Kamala Harris made the news and we all know why. We just heard this. One of the first people to call her was diehard supporter Sarah Jessica Parker but it wasn’t only to offer her condolences after the loss, it was to offer her a job! Sarah wants Kamala to play herself on an episode of And Just Like That. We heard that the Vice President didn’t say yes, but she also didn’t say no. She agreed to look at a script and if it works for her brand, you can expect to see her on an episode of the series!

ELLEN DEGENERES: STILL SCHEMING FOR A SURPRISE COMEBACK

Although it pulled in plenty of viewers, Ellen DeGeneres’ Netflix special didn’t exactly jumpstart her faltering career. Consequently, the former daytime TV host is still strategizing for her comeback by working on a pilot for another talk show. According to my source, Ellen knows she’s done with daytime TV, so if the world thinks she’s a bitch she’s going to act like one. She wants to reinvent herself and host an edgy 30 minute nighttime talk show where she will be ANYTHING but nice, and won’t fawn over her celebrity guests. Remember this is only a pilot – but Ellen has high hopes that it might be the only way to get her career back. Her career fixation has nothing to do with needing money- she and her wife Portia just sold their 10 acre oceanside home in Carpenteria for 96 million dollars!

TOM BRADY IS WILLING TO BE EMBARRASSED

Tom Brady is set to get roasted on May 5 for Netflix’s first ever live comedy roast. The lineup hasn’t been announced yet, but you can expect funnyman Dave Chappelle and Tom’s former teammate Rob Gronkowski, along with a few surprises. Our source revealed that although Tom is one of executive producers he doesn’t know WHO is being asked to take the podium and make fun of him. Producers even asked Kim Kardashian. (you’ll remember we reported on their fling!) Kim wants to do it, but she needs to be in NYC for the Met Gala the next day, and was planning to spend the weekend there for last- minute fittings of her intricate Balenciaga dress.

MEGHAN MARKLE IS INSPIRED BY GWYNETH PALTROW

We previously reported that Meghan Markle was launching her own oddly named brand, American Riviera Orchard, to sell products online that capture the essence of her new hometown of Montecito. Although Meghan has quickly adapted to the Montecito lifestyle since relocating there with her husband Prince Harry, she wasn’t born and raised in the ritzy oceanfront community. She grew up in the working class L.A. suburb of Canoga Park. However, Meghan isn’t content with just an online presence – our source says she’s working with a commercial realtor in the area to open a brick and mortar store. Meghan feels having an actual store (or a few) will strengthen her brand. She got the idea from Gwyneth Paltrow, whose successful online brand, Goop, has several stores, including one in Montecito. Meghan is looking to open her store in the EXACT same area where the Goop store is located.

Jerry Seinfeld Negotiation Netflix Reunion Seinfeld

JERRY SEINFELD SAID IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN

Jerry Seinfeld’s 2020 Netflix comedy special was one of the streamer’s highest rated programs, and now Jerry might TOP those numbers with what they all said would never happen- a Seinfeld reunion! My source told me that Jerry and his former costars -including Julia Louis Dreyfus- are in top secret talks to revisit their popular sitcom, 25 years after its series finale. The details are far from worked out, but Jerry and his gang could each pocket millions, depending on the format. Netflix is HOPING for a 10 episode revival, but it could easily wind up being a two hour reunion movie. The source says it all comes down to money, but a deal is certainly looking more and more like a strong possibility.

CHRIS ROCK’S HUMOR WILL NOT BE CENSORED

That was fast! No sooner did Chris Rock’s live Netflix special air than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reached out to the powers that be at the streaming giant to voice their displeasure. In one bit, Chris poked fun at Meghan’s claim of racism in the Royal family, which obviously didn’t sit well with the couple. Harry and Meghan DO have a lucrative Netflix deal which has already earned them millions, but despite that, they were politely told that the network does NOT believe in censorship. Chris’ jokes were funny and they were HIS – not the network’s. It’s unlikely that Harry and Meg will walk away from their deal over this, but to say they’re upset would be an understatement…

PRINCE HARRY IS THE LUCKY ONE

Meghan Markle has given Prince Harry the best of both worlds. They are in New York to take part in the Global Citizen Live 24 hour worldwide event in Central Park promoting equal access to covid vaccine. Besides continuing their charity work, the couple has a highly profitable deal with Netflix to create content and Meghan is working on an animated feature about a 12 year old girl who becomes inspired by successful women in history. Of course they are meeting and working with the most prominent people in New York and Hollywood. Besides their flourishing business lives, they are living a dreamy life near the beach in idyllic Santa Barbara with their young son and daughter born in June. Isn’t that better than being stifled in the palace and told what to do every day? Meghan has given Harry a wonderful and enviable life…

DON’T BE TURNED OFF BY THIS PHOTO – “ROMA” IS BRILLIANT

Netflix is going to take home the Oscar for Best Foreign Film this year – Alfonso Cuaron’s Roma is an unexpected MASTERPIECE! We can’t say enough good things about it. This is the story of the director’s memories of his childhood in the early 70’s in Mexico City. His upper middle class family has beloved servants and these young women are considered to be part of the family. It is their story we are drawn into. And “drawn into“ is no exaggeration – almost from the first scene we feel as if we are part of the family living this story. It’s a rare and wonderful connection, perhaps partly due to the fact that most of the cast are non-actors working without a script. An astonishing achievement.

BRAD PITT’S HAIR WAS ONCE AN OBJECT OF DESIRE

Brad Pitt can rest easy, knowing that one of his first important movies has been resurrected for Netflix. Tom DeCillo, the director of 1991’s Johnny Suede was appalled to learn that 50’s guitarist Link Wray’s music had been cut from the Netflix version of the movie in which Brad plays a clueless southern boy with a huge pompadour who aspires to be a rockabilly star. It’s a strange and aimless film – perhaps inspired by David Lynch and Jim Jarmusch, but ultimately entertaining. Anyway, the director got the music back in the movie and re-edited it to perfection for your – and Brangelina’s – Netflix enjoyment. (Above Nick Cave and Brad Pitt)
