LA TOYA JACKSON IS PRODUCING A MUSICAL ABOUT MICHAEL- AIMING FOR BROADWAY

LaToya Jackson is in Berlin where she appeared at a press conference for the show Forever, King Of Pop, which has been touring around Europe. Of course, the musical is all about her brother Michael Jackson, and apparently it has the approval of her family. LaToya must be getting a cut of the proceeds because she shows up at events like these and is listed as a producer. A Michael Jackson tribute artist named Lenny Jay is playing Michael, and it’s a bit horrifying to see that he actually had plastic surgery on his nose to duplicate the Jackson family nose job.

Cannes Film Festival Fashion La Toya Jackson

LA TOYA JACKSON: BLACK LEATHER IS NOT ALWAYS YOUR FRIEND

La Toya Jackson surprised Cannes filmgoers by showing up for the premier of a South Korean dramatic movie in competition called Burning. She happily posed with people involved with the movie (she’s not) in a black leather gown (!) with a long train that needed constant adjustment. A woman followed her on the red carpet on her knees, spreading it out. We can’t help but notice that perhaps the skirt slit was too high for the petite La Toya because apparently the top five inches were hastily sewn together in an amateur manner. But she still manages to look quite pretty.

IS LA TOYA JACKSON IN CHARGE OF HER OWN LIFE NOW?

La Toya Jackson looks like she has some doubts about the manicure she just got in Beverly Hills. Significantly, she’s in the company of another woman – NOT Jeffre Phillips, whom she “almost” married. Jeffre was acting as her manager after she divorced Jack Gordon. We are reminded of a visit to Paris in 1992 when LaToya was performing (scantily clad) at the Moulin Rouge nightclub. Jack invited us to see the show and visit backstage. LaToya graciously showed us her wardrobe and she and Jack took us to the hottest club in Paris at the time, where they rolled out the red carpet for her. Hard to imagine, but it looks like La Toya is single and managing her own career now.

La Toya Jackson walked out of Mastro’s restaurant with her “business partner” Jeffre Phillips right behind her, as usual. Although they ARE inseparable, LaToya and Jeffre are NOT married, contrary to tabloid claims. She’s carrying an extra large handbag, and we guess there’s a doggie bag with leftovers inside.

LATOYA JACKSON INSISTS THAT SHE IS NOT MARRIED, AND WE BELIEVE HER!

We THOUGHT there was something fishy about La Toya Jackson suddenly marrying her manager and longtime companion Jeffre Phillips! RadarOnline announced that the unlikely pair wed on December 6 and even mentioned who was present at the “wedding.” (Hopefully, RadarOnline didn’t pay for THAT tip!) It took time, but La Toya finally got around to denying that any marriage took place! This weekend they were out together and Jeffre was walking BESIDE La Toya instead of BEHIND her, so maybe their relationship HAS changed!

We always wondered about LaToya’s constant companion Jeffre Phillips. Wherever she goes, he’s usually a discreet few steps behind her so as not to hog the camera. (To be honest, we thought he might be a gay best friend) They’ve been together for years – he seemed to be more than a friend – more like a business partner or manager. Well, it turns out he’s even more than THAT. We heard that LaToya has now MARRIED Jeffre, and she is now Mrs Phillips! So there.

MICHAEL JACKSON’S KIDS NOW HAVE A MANAGER: LATOYA!

Leave it to LaToya Jackson to figure out a way to make money from Michael Jackson’s kids. While much of the family has been banned from the Calabasas home where Prince, 16, Paris, 15, and Blanket , 10, live with Michael’s mother, LaToya, 56, has maintained a relationship. According to The Daily Mail, she knew the children had show business aspirations so she started a talent agency called Ja-Tail Enterprises, convinced them to sign up, and now manages them. And they’re not complaining- after he signed, Prince landed his job on E.T., and Paris is set to film a movie next summer. LaToya gets 15% of their take. It looks like LaToya Jackson is trying very hard to become one of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She’s been keeping company with Lisa Vanderpump (and her adorable dog Gigolo) – they were together at the series premier and at Villa Blanca for lunch this week. Whether single LaToya could be considered a “housewife” or whether actually lives in Beverly Hills is not known. (But, of course, if they were really looking for authenticity, the Beverly Hills Housewives would be Persian) LaToya just might pull it off.

We absolutely LOVE these before and after photos of Janet and LaToya Jackson published in the Daily Mail. Both had perfectly nice noses back in the early 80’s, but followed Michael’s advice and had them minimized. We can see that LaToya’s skin has lightened considerably since then – probably under Michael’s supervision, as well. He wanted his siblings to look like HIM!
