You can see by the look on her face that Rachel Zoe is dead serious about shopping. She rummaged through the shoes on sale rack at Barneys and found a few pairs she liked. Nope, she’s not shopping for a client. The fact that she’s five and a half months pregnant doesn’t stop her from trying on platform shoes with nine inch heels.
We’ve been observing Mariah Carey’s ballooning weight and medical visits for months now, predicting that she’s been plumping up from fertilization treatments. THAT’S why she’s not upset about her weight gain. She and her husband of two years, Nick Cannon, are eager to start a family. (Friends say Mariah already treats her dogs like babies.) Her pregnancy has ALMOST been confirmed by RadarOnline. However, Mariah’s publicist has refused to officially comment on the matter. When Mariah dropped out of Tyler Perry’s latest movie, which is set to start filming this month, it was assumed by insiders that she was expecting. Why else would she pass up an acting opportunity?
When Star magazine announced that John Travolta’s 47 year old wife Kelly Preston is expecting TWINS, the first thing we thought of was: two more Scientologists to add to the cult! As recruiting becomes more and more difficult due to negative publicity and loss of esteem, we figure that church leaders must be encouraging faithful members to multiply and have more children. Since the young are brainwashed from a very early age, it’s easy to keep them in the fold. We’re happy for John and Kelly, but sorry that the children are likely to be slaves to Scientology.

Now that she’s pregnant, MAYBE Amy Adams will find time to marry her boyfriend of seven years, actor/artist Darren Le Gallo. They’ve been engaged for over a year and planned to marry in 2009, but Amy’s been so busy working on movies that she kept postponing the big event. Actually, Darren is the one who’s been pushing to tie the knot sooner rather than later. We’re guessing that “Julie & Julia” star Amy, 35, will prioritize the wedding now that she’s expecting.
We’re not sure why those rumors that Liv Tyler is pregnant are still circulating because she looks trim to us. Liv, a spokesperson for Givenchy, admits that if she’s put any weight on, it’s because she quit smoking a few months ago. She’s NOT pregnant. Liv was photographed arriving at a party in the Hollywood Hills without the “mystery man” she’s been dating of late. She and the new guy took her four year old son Milo trick or treating on Halloween.
Mark Wahlberg always has that scowl on his face, but he’s GOT to be more fun than he looks. He’s filming in NYC and speaking freely about the 4th baby that his new wife Rhea Durham is expecting. They’re having another girl so the family is balanced with two girls and two boys. And despite multiple births, Rhea still looks like a supermodel. Although Mark came from a family of 9, he says 4 are enough, because he wants each of his kids to have plenty of attention.

Halle Berry is a big tease. Rumors that she’s pregnant with her second baby have flooded the gossip market for MONTHS, but still she refuses to admit a thing. Presumably she must be well over the three month safety mark. Instead of accepting congratulations, Halle delights in sliding into a baggy dress and deliberately carries huge shopping bags awkwardly in front of her as she’s leaving Fred Segal. We were RIGHT when we assumed “Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl might be expecting because of 3 observations in a recent photo. She was sucking on a lollipop instead of smoking, she wore a loose dress, and she and her husband Josh Kelley were in a baby store purchasing a stroller. The twist is that she’s adopting! Katherine and Josh are expecting a little girl from Korea this week whom they’ve already named Leigh. Katherine has always liked kids better than she liked the idea of being pregnant. Hopefully she’s stocked up on lollipops to avoid second hand smoke.
