THE HEARTBROKEN WOMAN DJ AM LEFT BEHIND

DJ AM’s drug related death at 36, is another Hollywood tragedy. While Adam Goldstein’s celebrity friends are calling attention to themselves by twittering about how upset they are about his abrupt departure, one person remains silent. That would be his MOTHER Andrea Gross. She was the first person Adam called from the ambulance after his near fatal plane crash. Adam’s heartbroken mother supported him all his life – through drug addiction and several visits to rehab. She took care of him after his gastric bypass and after his plane crash. When he was starting out as a DJ, she coaxed her friends into hiring him for bar mitzvahs and weddings. Andrea never gave up on her son, and it’s a real shame that he couldn’t control his addictions, and enjoy his abundant life.

TRAVIS BARKER HAS A LOT TO CELEBRATE

Travis Barker and friends went shopping at – of all places – Louis Vuitton today. The burns on his legs were very apparent – and painful looking. His hands are still wrapped up in flesh colored bandages. Travis and DJ AM are performing together on New Year’s Eve for the first time since their plane crash on September 19. The party will be at The Lot in West Hollywood- formerly Warner Hollywood Studios on Formosa.

TODAY'S THE FUNERAL AND DJ AM WON'T MISS IT

The funeral for Travis Barker’s assistant Chris Baker started today at 2 PM at Forest Lawn. 2000 people, including hopefully Travis himself, are expected. Everyone invited was asked to wear Chris’s favorite color green. A friend said “Chris dealt with all kinds of powerful people in the music business. Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, and others are expected to fly in from New York. It’s going to be a star studded event.”
Travis’s bodyguard Charles Still’s funeral was Saturday and DJ AM was a surprise but secretive guest. As we told you, he DOESN’T want to be seen in public until he’s had plastic surgery, So Adam sat in a truck with tinted windows. He invited his friends and Still’s family over to speak to him, but he never got out of the truck.
THIS JUST IN: Travis didn’t make it to the funeral but he had someone read a statement from him. DJ AM showed up looking better – he has patches of white on his face and a cast on his hand but he doesn’t look bad at all, said a witness. Game was in tears, as were many in the crowd.

DJ AM HAS TRAVIS BARKER TO THANK FOR HIS LIFE

Plane crash update: From what we’re hearing, Travis Barker is a hero. When the doomed plane started hurtling about, Travis and DJ AM were sitting in the front seats. They turned around and saw a ball of fire roaring in the back of the plane and watched in horror as it engulfed their friends seated in the back. Travis realized what was coming and he pushed the door open and grabbed DJ AM and pulled him out of the moving plane. They were both on fire and ran screaming as fast and as far from the fiery plane as they could. DJ AM can’t sleep and somehow is able to text friends in spite of his hand burns. He’s worried about his scalp being burned off. Travis is quiet – he’s on more painkillers.

DJ AM Plane Crash Travis Barker

TRAVIS BARKER AND DJ AM HAVE A TOUGH ROAD AHEAD

The South Carolina private plane crash Friday night is the talk of Hollywood. Everyone wants to know how DJ AM and Travis Barker are REALLY doing. There probably won’t be any updates on their conditions until tomorrow. When we heard that the two guys leaped out of the fiery plane while it was still rolling we figured they might have been luckily sitting by the exit. Their clothes were on fire and they pulled them off each other as they ran away from the plane. Their escape was even more incredible because the four other people on the plane perished. Both guys are in critical condition at a S.C. burn center – DJ AM who was scheduled to spin at an Emmy party Sunday, has a burned face and Travis has burned legs. We’re thinking they’ll be put into a medical “coma” because the pain from burns is so intense and long lasting. It might be awhile before we get their side of the story. Still, it’s a miracle they survived.

So what’s Mandy Moore doing having dinner at Mr Chow with her exboyfriend DJ AM? We suspect she was hoping to be photographed in order to get Matthew Perry’s attention. She’s been dating Perry but she’s not the only girl he sees- Matthew is also keeping company with Meg Ryan. They were caught at the Wiltern Theater together. Maybe Mandy saw the photos on this site and decided to get even or make him jealous.

DJ AM: BOO HOO

Nothing seems to be going right for DJ AM Adam Goldstein since he and Nicole Richie went their separate ways. First Adam complained that he misses getting all that publicity he enjoyed when he was with Nicole – not to mention all those high paying DJ jobs her notoriety helped him get. Now he’s complaining to friends that he’s gained twenty pounds and as a result he has to go back for more gastric bypass surgery to deal with the problem. Sometimes it pays to have a popular girlfriend who’s not interested in eating.

Nicole Richie’s ex DJ AM (Who we think is one of the best DJ’s EVER) saw 90’s rap group A Tribe Called Quest at The Wiltern and it’v obvious that he has moved ON when it comes to Nicole Richie. He was upfront by the stage with two girls – one obviously his girlfriend. According to another audience member “She was a tiny very slim (but not emaciated) younger blondish version of Nicole. During the show he patted her backside affectionately and they whispered and giggled together. They acted really comfortable – like they’ve been a couple for awhile. “
