DITA VON TEESE IN A TRAILER PARK? YOU BET!

Where does the elegant dancer/designer Dita Von Teese celebrate her birthday? Maxim’s in Paris? Nope. Dita spent her birthday weekend in an Airstream trailer courtesy of Kate Pierson of the B-52’s! Kate happens to have an Airstream trailer park in the high desert in Landers, California, and all the trailers are decorated with mid century modern themes like “Tiki” or “Planet Air.” Rates are $200 per night. Dita and her friends rented several trailers and camped out in the beautiful desert for the weekend. Dita was reportedly fully made up and appropriately vintage attired the entire time.

We were fans of Jennifer Tilly even BEFORE she filmed “Bound” and it’s nice to see that she’s doing great. For awhile it seemed like Jennifer gave up acting for poker – because she was really good at it and won lots of money. Her boyfriend of 9 years, Phil Laak, 42, is a poker pro and has a new series on the Discovery channel called “Underground Poker.” Phil once played poker for 115 hours straight. A match made in heaven, right? Jennifer has been appearing on Family Guy lately. She and Phil celebrated her birthday this week at Mr Chow.

Her 42nd birthday on July 10 could have been a little lonely for Sofia Vergara since she shed her longtime boyfriend/fiancée Nick Loeb in May. But she has bounced back from the split in a BIG way! She never realized that 6’5” True Blood star Joe Manganiello, 37, had been waiting in the wings for her to become available. Joe took her out for lunch in New Orleans where she was filming and apparently that was just the beginning. Sofia celebrated her birthday at Nobu in Malibu with friends and Joe – and they look VERY chummy. Maybe she posted this photo as a message to Nick….

Bruce Willis couldn’t care less whether or not he was named on Lindsay Lohan’s Hollywood Hook-up list because he was single at the time. Today is Bruce’s 59th birthday and he and his fertile wife Emma took a walk in Beverly Hills. Bruce already has four daughters (3 with Demi and one with Emma) so he’s probably hoping for a boy. We wonder what it’s like to be married to a man who almost always wears a baseball cap.

In case you haven’t heard, Howard Stern turns 60 this month and he’s having a huge birthday on the evening of January 31 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. It will be broadcast live on Sirius XM so only subscribers can listen. So far Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler, and other musicians are set to appear, as well as Louis CK, David Letterman, and Jimmy Kimmel is hosting. The venue only holds 1500 people and already fake tickets are being sold on Craigslist. Wonder if Howard’s Cabo vacation buddies Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux will be there too…

They created a limited edition collection of only 12 of the pricey bags and each is a bit different. Proceeds go to the charity UNICEF. Demi Moore is spending her 50th birthday in far-away places. Maybe she finally figured out there’s more to life than hanging out in Hollywood clubs with 20 year olds. She was one of the lucky celebrities invited to India for a lavish two day celebration thrown by Naomi Campbell for her billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin, who also turned 50. Pampered guests arrived in chartered planes and stayed at a luxurious $1000 a night hotel. All the women were given custom designed fashions to wear to the decadent parties. Maybe turning 50 isn’t so bad, after all.

Just because Tom Cruise was a guest at Cameron Diaz’s 40th birthday party in London does NOT mean they are dating! The pair became friendly while filming “Knight and Day” in 2010, but Cameron is hardly a likely prospect for Tom’s next conquest. Granted, she IS very single and she IS taller than Tom, which he seems to prefer. But Cameron is too old for Tom – he needs a very young girl who is either a Scientologist or too young to realize what Scientology really IS. Cameron doesn’t need help with her career and she has plenty of money of her own. Friendship is all she wants from Tom.
