CELEBRATE THE SNITCH AT THE STANDARD HOTEL!

The ONLY downside to the fabulous Jay-Z VS Solange Knowles elevator brawl is the fact that the person who sold the tape to TMZ (for $250,000?) got CAUGHT! We feel awful for this entrepreneurial hotel employee who recognized solid gold when he or she saw it. Without people like this hotel employee, the world would be a much duller place. How much FUN has this tape provided for the general public? And certainly none of the participants suffered career damage or anything else. (Jay-Z remained a gentleman through it all) The tape made the whole Jay-Z Beyonce household a whole lot MORE interesting. We can understand why the Standard Hotel felt obliged to fire the employee, but we hope they will come to their senses and NOT file a lawsuit against the errant employee.

JAY-Z SAYS “NO THANKS” TO BEING KANYE WEST’S BEST MAN AT WEDDING

They’ve been buddies for years, but Jay-Z wants nothing to do with Kanye West’s over-the-top wedding to Kim Kardashian. Kanye asked Jay to be his best man, but his friend said he would only do it if he and Beyonce and their baby were NOT filmed. Since the E channel is paying for the wedding, they cannot make such a promise. Jay-Z and Beyonce have no desire to appear on the Kardashian reality show. Their OWN wedding was SO private that it was weeks before people even knew it happened! Kim will be disappointed if Beyonce doesn’t show up.

BEYONCE WASN’T SATISFIED WITH JAY-Z’S PERFORMANCE

Beyonce is still a PERFECTIONIST and sometimes a stern taskmaster. She and Jay-Z have the honor of opening the Grammy show tonight with their nominated song Part II (On the Run) and she wants it to be flawless. During the final dress rehearsal of their song, Beyonce thought Jay’s performance just wasn’t up to par. According to a witness, she pushed him to do it over and over until he got it RIGHT. And he did!

KIM KARDASHIAN ASPIRES TO BE MORE POPULAR THAN BEYONCE

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are quietly obsessed with knocking Jay-Z and Beyonce off their pedestal and usurping their title as #1 Power Couple in Show Business. Kanye convinced Kim to bleach her hair blonde because he felt it would increase her international appeal. Despite the fact that Kim gave birth to North with MUCH fanfare in 2013, Beyonce still topped her as Most Searched Celebrity in 2013. So Kim is scheming to do whatever is necessary to generate more buzz than Beyonce – even though she can’t sing. In fact, it’s rumored that Kim is constantly checking to see if Beyonce is getting more internet hits than she is!

PASS THE BROWN RICE – HERE COMES BEYONCE!

SOME people turn into monsters when they’re on a special diet, but not Beyonce. At least, so far. When her husband Jay-Z decided to eat vegan for 22 days starting December 4, she joined in. But it’s not easy. Beyonce has a passion for wings and ribs, and it’s quite a change eating broccoli and grains instead. To keep herself in check, Beyonce encouraged everyone around her to try the diet too, and if they didn’t, she asked them to please keep tempting foods out of her sight. (Above, she and Jay-Z were seen leaving Crossroads vegan restaurant in Los Angeles.)

BEYONCE IS GIVING HER HAIR A VACATION

Beyonce’s scalp must be extremely grateful. Her Mrs Carter tour ended a few days ago and her scalp gets a big workout when she’s on the road. Hot sweaty wigs and heavy extensions, not to mention bleaching and straightening, leaves her hair exhausted and damaged. How nice to see Beyonce free of weaves etc, and looking better than ever. (It’s time for a lot of celebrities to get rid of that ubiquitous long wavy fake hair) She was probably emboldened by Rihanna’s short cut – she lost none of her sex appeal. Beyonce posted photos of her new look on Instagram, hoping for a reaction and she got a good one.

Jay-Z’s album Magna Carta Holy Grail is headed to the top of the carts and has already gone platinum in spite of his own moderate reviews. To celebrate the fact that he’s still got “it,” Beyonce posted this graduation photo of Jay, now 43, back when he was Shawn Carter. It must be elementary school because Shawn dropped out of high school. But he still did rather well for himself.

It looks like there was never much doubt about Beyonce having star potential- the picture on the left shows the singer when she was just 13, in eighth grade at Welch Middle School. Already a knockout. And just a year later she straightened her hair for her freshman year at Houston School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Unfortunately, she dropped out of school soon after and never graduated because her career took off. (Unfortunately for her education, that is.)

BEYONCE AND HER BACKSTAGE IDIOSYNCRASIES

We didn’t realize that there WAS such a thing as red toilet paper until we read Beyonce’s list of backstage necessities while she’s on her Mrs Carter Tour. Besides the freshly painted dressing rooms and new toilet seats and healthy snacks and gourmet water, she wants all the backstage crew to wear only 100% cotton clothing because she has “allergies.” (?) If the red toilet paper aroused your curiosity – you can pick up some for yourself HERE for only $3 – $5 a roll and feel like Beyonce in the bathroom.
