Whether you’ve ever seen the TLC reality show “Toddlers and Tiaras” doesn’t matter – this photo from the Anderson Cooper show is priceless. Anderson’s show staffers gave the four most famous stage mothers from the show “pageant“ makeovers in outfits just like their daughters favorite competition costumes. Cooper was trying to make the women think differently about the questionable way they dress up their little girls, but that didn’t happen. The little girls laughed at their moms and the mothers laughed at themselves, but there were no regrets.

Anderson Cooper Gerard Depardieu Laugh

ANDERSON COOPER’S LAUGHING FIT IS HILARIOUS – AND REFRESHING

What’s the big deal with Anderson Cooper’s laughing fit? We saw this video of him trying to deliver the story about Gerard Depardieu peeing on the floor of an airplane and his own copywriter’s puns completely cracked Anderson up on the air. We found his helpless giggling absolutely charming (UNLIKE Depardieu’s revolting behavior) and we just had to laugh along with him. Yet people are criticizing Anderson for being “unprofessional” or worse “giggling like a schoolgirl.” It reminds us that for years women have suffered in silence while men insult each other by comparing each other to a woman or calling each other feminine. As if a female comparison is the most horrible insult one can hurl. Gays have made it socially incorrect to use them as unfavorable comparisons – how about including the female sex in that? Anderson Cooper was not giggling like a girl – he was laughing like anyone else might under the circumstances.

ANDERSON COOPER WAS SHOCKED TO LEARN HIS MOTHER HAS A LIFE SIZE CARDBOARD CUTOUT OF HIM IN HER LIVING ROOM

Anderson Cooper got quite a jolt when he opened up New York magazine’s home design issue featuring his mother Gloria Vanderbilt’s apartment. There was a photo of her at home posing next to a life size cardboard cutout of her son! He later told Daily Intel, “I was unaware that she had a life size cutout of me! I’m not sure how she got it, I’m not entirely thrilled that she has it, but what are you going to do?” When your mother is Gloria Vanderbilt, it’s clear that she does whatever she wants.

Anderson Cooper looks a bit overwhelmed by Lady Gaga as they film an interview at London’s River Thames. Gaga trussed herself up in her fanciest waist cincher and steampunk glasses for the occasion. She gave Anderson a big hug and talked about her fans, her music, and what it’s like to be stared at all the time. Then she almost fell over in her shoes. A good time was had by all.

"Dilemma" Anderson Cooper Gay Trailer Vince Vaughn

SORRY ANDERSON, VINCE VAUGHN KNOWS WHAT HE’S TALKING ABOUT

We were NOT upset like Anderson Cooper was by the use of the word “gay” in the trailer for Vince Vaughn’s movie “Dilemma.” And frankly, we don’t think it has anything to do with bullying homosexuals. We’ve heard and seen way more outrageous gay oriented humor on Saturday Night Live and both gays and straights found it funny.
Let’s get specific: The opening scene of the trailer in question is set in a board room where Vaughn is delivering a presentation about electric cars and says, “Electric cars are gay. I mean, not homosexual gay, but my-parents-are-chaperoning the dance gay.”
Is there a gay person out there offended by this? Is the word “gay” destined to be forbidden? It was censored right out of the trailer!
Vince Vaughn obviously agrees with us – he released this statement today:
“Let me add my voice of support to the people outraged by the bullying and persecution of people for their differences, whatever those differences may be. Comedy and joking about our differences breaks tension and brings us together. Drawing dividing lines over what we can and cannot joke about does exactly that; it divides us. Most importantly, where does it STOP.”

Assuming that the wealthy newsman doesn’t NEED the money, the company suggests he donate it to a charity. That leaves a door wide open…

Anderson Cooper Anne Archer Scientology Tommy Davis

ANDERSON COOPER IS INVESTIGATING SCIENTOLOGY AND TOMMY DAVIS DOESN’T LIKE IT

If you’ve been watching Anderson Cooper’s Scientology investigation on CNN, you might be wondering who this Tommy Davis person is who has assumed the role of spokesperson for Scientology. (Scientology leader David Miscavige has repeatedly refused to appear in person to defend the church – some say he is avoiding being served with a warrant.) Tommy happens to be the son of actress Anne Archer, a Scientologist for over thirty years. He was Scientology educated (which is very limited) and his family became so wealthy in real estate that he once said “I never have to work a day in my life.” Since the church is so heavily invested in real estate (with no property taxes!) we figure there’s a connection there. Anyway, Tommy’s former friends who left the church, actor Jason Beghe and director Paul Haggis, both called him a “liar” when David denied the existence of “disconnection” – the splitting up of families to shun critics of the church. In fact, it looks like he’s not telling the truth about a lot of things. Watch the final segment tonight or catch up on the CNN website.

Anderson Cooper Scientology

ANDERSON COOPER IS DISHING THE DIRT ON SCIENTOLOGY

Ten or fifteen years ago, Anderson Cooper probably wouldn’t have had the nerve to “investigate” the church of Scientology on his CNN show. If HE didn’t chicken out under pressure, chances are the fearful network would have silenced him. Those were the glory days of Scientology when they successfully threatened and pressured journalists who dared to write about them. Any writer who succeeded in getting their investigative piece written, lived to regret it, due to lawsuits and job loss. The church is not as powerful or threatening as it used to be. We LOVE CNN for doing this and hope it stirs up problems that lead to the “church” paying taxes like any other profitable organization. The amount of real estate they own in Los Angeles is criminal – since it is all untaxed. And of course we, the taxpayers, have to make up the difference. Anderson Cooper’s report is in five parts, airing every night this week.

She and her chosen soul-mate Ed Swiderski were taken aback when curious Anderson asked “How many guys (on the show) did you sleep with?” After considerable squirming, Jillian evaded the issue by admitting “I kissed 10 guys,” but WE know the truth. Guys DO gossip, you know! According to our inside source, Jillian slept with at least THREE of the finalists! They couldn’t resist bragging.
