MATTHEW PERRY NEEDS MORE THAN A MANICURE

Matthew Perry, 49, was walking around New York yesterday looking down on his luck. If we didn’t know how wealthy his is, we’d feel sorry for him. Actually, the Friends star has been having a rough time – last year he spent three months in a hospital recovering from a gastrointestinal perforation. He’s had drug and alcohol problems in the past, and Perry has made several hospital visits recently. He was reported to be in the company of a “sober coach.”

No WONDER Justin Bieber has been hiding under hoodies for the past few weeks. It’s almost refreshing to be reminded that celebrities get acne too. Ironically, nine years ago Justin, now 25, was a spokesperson for the acne medication Proactiv, but in those days the babyfaced singer didn’t seem to need it much. He’s been spending a lot of time in the gym lately – maybe that has something to do with the flare-up- or perhaps a medication. So maybe his life isn’t as perfect as you thought it was…

Granted, Elton John’s hair looks really good, but his taste in fashion is starting to rival our Worst Dressed Celebrity, Justin Bieber, who also favors lavender. Elton and his husband David Furnish (also questionably attired) hosted his AIDS Foundation Midsummer Party in France dressed like THIS. Bad Behavior Faye Dunaway

FAYE DUNAWAY ALMOST GOT AWAY WITH IT

One thing we never get tired of is Faye Dunaway stories. Faye was just fired from a Broadway-bound play, Tea at Five, in which she played a later in life version of Katharine Hepburn. Faye was frequently very late for rehearsals, couldn’t remember her lines, and she refused to allow anyone to LOOK at her while she rehearsed (including the director) or wear the color WHITE because it “distracted” her. She left angry, rambling voicemails for the creative team in the middle of the night and berated the hair and makeup people – often throwing objects like mirrors and combs at them. One of her last acts was to order staffers at the theater to get down on their hands and knees and scrub the floor of her dressing room! After that, Faye was relieved of her job and we wonder if the spirit of Joan Crawford has taken control of her…

Accident Fast & Furious 9 Stunt Double Stuntman Vin Diesel

HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE TO MAKE VIN DIESEL LOOK MACHO?

Vin Diesel’s stuntman Joe Watts (above) is fighting for his life after a safety cable broke when he leaped from a balcony on the UK set of Fast & Furious 9 and he plunged over thirty feet and landed on his head. He is now in an induced coma and the prognosis is not good. Back in 2002, another of Vin Diesel’s stunt doubles was KILLED in a paragliding accident on the set. What is WRONG with these filmmakers? Is thrilling those boneheaded teenage viewers and enhancing Diesel’s badass reputation REALLY more important than keeping people alive? If actors had to do their own stunts this insanity would not happen.

Above, David Spade is being ushered into Good Morning America where he talked about his new show on Comedy Central called Lights Out with David Spade. It starts at 11:30 – the same time that Jimmy Kimmel and everybody else airs. (Also the same time as David’s alma mater SNL) Spade and several other guest comics will analyze the pop cultural news of the day (not politics) along with an occasional skit. His buddies from SNL have promised to guest on the show and we will definitely tune in – absence of political commentary is very appealing, and we love Spade’s sarcasm…

DOES ANYBODY WANT TO LOOK LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER?

Justin Bieber is now officially the Worst Dressed Celebrity, and the fact that he has a clothing collection makes the title even more surprising. Take a look at this photo of Bieber in his ridiculous puffy pants and matching lavender tee shirt walking next to his friend (bodyguard?) dressed in jeans, and tell us – which guy you would rather date? Bieber’s “Drew” clothing line (his middle name) knocked off Kanye’s Yeezy fashions because they feature only one color. (Kanye knocked off designer Virgil Abloh) Fortunately, Justin’s beige corduroy hoodies etc, are unisex so his female fans will buy them – we seriously DOUBT that many guys will want to look like Bieber!

Okay, here’s a threesome walking on Hollywood Boulevard that makes heads turn – and for good reason. Rodrigo “Human Ken Doll” Alves in the center is familiar, but we’ve never seen the guy next to him before. Turns out he’s Luis “The Elf” Padron, and he spent $80,000 on plastic surgery to look like a fantasy elf. Note the ears – and he has very strange eyes.
