The former One Direction singer is usually quite a snappy dresser. He’s pictured here smoking SOMETHING, looking rather pale and thin…and seedy. In fact, he resembles a good looking, but rather debauched drug addict. And those black socks in the sunshine don’t improve the look. Some people just don’t look like they belong in the sun…

NATALIE PORTMAN AS YOU’VE NEVER SEEN HER

We last saw dainty Natalie Portman as a soldier in Annihilation and THAT was unexpected, but she’s currently in New York filming Vox Lux in which she plays a pop star. It’s the story of a singer who becomes a superstar overnight after a national tragedy. (9/11?) It starts in 1999 and reflects cultural changes for the next fifteen years through the eyes of Natalie’s character Celeste. Sia is doing all the original music. Is that electrical tape around Natalie’s neck?

BARBRA STREISAND’S MORAL DILEMMA

Since Variety spilled the beans that Barbra Streisand had her beloved dog Samantha cloned, it’s been the talk of dog-lovers. You can’t blame Barbra for loving her Coton de Tulear so much that she had her cloned – twice. Every dog owner knows the agonizing heartbreak when the animal they’ve spent so many years living with, inevitably dies. Cloning seems like a good idea if you have an extra fifty to a hundred thousand dollars. But, as animal activists point out – the clone may LOOK the same, but the dogs are NOT likely to have the same personality. Even Barbra admits her dogs don’t behave like Samantha. So maybe it’s not really such a great idea…

DENIRO AND CANNAVALE ARE CORRUPT TEAMSTERS IN “THE IRISHMAN”

Robert DeNiro is playing Frank “The Irishman” Sheehan and Bobby Cannavale is playing Joe Gallo on location in Queens, New York filming “The Irishman” with Martin Scorsese. The two “union bosses” are watching other Teamsters unload a truck full of beef. Mobster and hit man Sheehan wrote his memoirs before he died and detailed all his crimes through the years. Sheehan was responsible for Jimmy Hoffa’s disappearance and Bobby’s character Gallo ends up another one of Sheehan’s victims. Nice to see men without facial hair…

HEATHER LOCKLEAR AND HER HISTORY OF VIOLENCE

The idea of petite and feminine Heather Locklear, 56, getting high and beating up her boyfriends is utterly fascinating and unexpected. Heather’s first two husbands were rock stars – Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora -so she was exposed to self indulgence and substance abuse early on. But Heather had a clean record until she hit her forties – that’s when her “history of violence” began. Sometimes she appeared bruised in public. DUI’s started piling up and Heather reportedly punched her fiancée Jack Wagner in 2011, and the relationship ended. Plastic surgeon Dr Marc Mani was her boyfriend for awhile – we wonder if she beat HIM up! The latest victim was her high school sweetheart, who didn’t find the success she did after graduation. Chris Heisser served two years in prison for theft and fraud, and he told police that Heather attacked him and tried to bite off his nose. She turned her attack on police when they arrived and assaulted several officers while cursing a blue streak. How embarrassing for anyone who happened to be in her house. (daughter Ava?) Heather is the new poster girl for Violence Against Men.

JAY LENO AND TIM ALLEN: MEN AND THEIR TOYS

There’s nothing Jay Leno and Tim Allen like better than examining magnificent cars. The two comics hosted and judged a car show in Boca Raton featuring 175 of the finest collector cars and motorcycles. Jay has hundreds of cars and motorcycles of his own and tries to drive them all. Tim Allen has a weakness for vintage American cars – especially the muscle cars. When asked how many vehicles he owns, Tim won’t get specific – he says “More than I need.”

Apparently Mariska Hargitay KNOWS how lucky she is to star on a successful one hour TV series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, for almost 20 years – but she didn’t let the long hours interfere with her happy private life. Mariska actually met her actor husband Peter Hermann when he guested on the show and they married in 2004. Mariska has been so affected by her role on the show that she started a charity to help “special victims” of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse. So far they’ve helped more than 5000 victims. Above, Mariska and Peter took their kids, Andrew, 7, August, 12, and Amaya, 7, to a NY Knicks game. Jayne Mansfield would have been proud of her daughter.

Sandra Bernhard performed her one-woman show at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club in London as part of her world tour. She has an amusing act – her observational comedy is smart and she doesn’t hesitate to make fun of everyone. You might remember her close friendship with Madonna a few years back. When Madonna for some reason quit being her friend, Sandra started telling some funny stories about their time together. (No, they never had a romance.) Now Sandra sings with her own band and puts on a very entertaining club act. Did you know she also has a 20 year old daughter Cicely?
