Jonah Hill has been going up and down at least a hundred pounds since the first time we saw him on film. It’s astonishing – but he plays it down by explaining that he just “watches what he eats.” Oh and, he stops drinking beer. But we think cigarettes have a lot to do with it. He’s chainsmoking on the set of his new Netflix series with Emma Stone called Maniac. It takes place in the 80’s – which explains the mullet and tube socks.

Richard Simmons is going to waste a whole lot of money on legal fees if he continues to pursue his lawsuit against The National Enquirer. A judge has already declared he doesn’t have a case because claiming he was transitioning into a woman is not career or character damaging. The magazine has an abundance of photos of Richard dressed up in drag from head to toe. (It’s rumored that a former assistant provided some of them) Keep in mind, The National Enquirer has excellent lawyers who fanatically examine every story before it’s published, so they seldom lose a lawsuit. Our advice to Richard: Save your money!

Adam Sandler and Chris Rock are playing dads in The Week Of, filming in New York, and they certainly LOOK the part. The Netflix movie is a wedding comedy, all about what happens the week before Chris’s son and Sandler’s daughter get married. One good thing- Sandler won’t be able to use his baby voice, we hope. We don’t have much hope for the Adam Sandler script, but you can bet that he and Chris are being overpaid.

Why isn’t Nicole Scherzinger, 39, a big star? Not only is Nicole drop dead beautiful, but she can sing AND dance better than almost anybody else. Back when she was a Pussycat Doll, Nicole had a #1 hit “Don’t Cha” that put the girl group on the map. After the Dolls broke up, she was expected to become a Beyonce-like star on her own. But it didn’t happen. She easily won on the tenth season of Dancing With The Stars, but ended up moving to the UK because her music had more success there. Why she’s not appearing in a big Broadway musical or movie is a mystery to us. We DO wish she would ignore the dreadful “Kardashian Influence” and stop wearing SO much makeup – she’s a natural beauty.

Jermaine Jackson, 62, is still going strong with his 23 year old girlfriend after a year. Maday Velazquez is an aspiring model/actress from Cuba. They started quietly dating BEFORE his divorce from his wife of 12 years, Halima Rashid, was final. (SHE was arrested for domestic violence.) Jermaine went public with Maday at the Cannes Film Festival in May. The pair are pictured in London where Jermaine is currently performing with his brothers.

Katy Perry gave us a lot to look at while hosting the VMA Awards – a total of TEN different outfits – all of them okay, but not drop dead brilliant. What was REALLY awkward was Katy’s monologue and commentary between award introductions. She tried to toss off some jokes, but the audience just FROZE and squirmed and didn’t laugh at all. In fact they looked bored while she was speaking. Audience close-ups revealed nothing but YAWNS! It was repeatedly embarrassing but Katy carried on. It makes one wonder – did writers DESERT her? When a stand-up comic hosts, we can depend on a lot of timely laughs because they have great writers. What happened to Katy? She TRIED, but she flopped big time as a spontaneous host. Looks aren’t EVERYTHING.

NOBODY is enjoying their weight loss more than EJ Johnson. He had gastric sleeve surgery and lost over a hundred pounds, and he’s been shopping and dressing up nonstop. Wherever he goes, the 6’2’” EJ is usually wearing the most interesting outfit and a full face of make-up. But he’s perfectly happy the way he is, and has no desire to transition. EJ’s reality show EJNYC is not coming back and we wonder if he will go into the fashion business…

Lindsay Lohan seems to be on a permanent vacation. For months, (years?) we’ve seen photos of her on yachts in different countries. Since she split with her Russian boyfriend, she hasn’t been THERE, but she’s been yachting in just about every other country. How does she afford this lifestyle? Since she moved to the UK, Lindsay, 31, DOES seem to have calmed down, and she recently filmed 8 episodes of a sitcom called Sick Note in England. She wasn’t a leading character – she played Don Johnson’s wife. Lohan says she doesn’t expect any offers from Hollywood and plans to stay in the UK because the paparazzi don’t follow her there. Or maybe she just loves the yachting life…

Kesha’s dress is what comes up when you Google “Quinceanera.” Too many ruffles – and what do you call that color? Is it greyish-pink or pinkish beige? Either way – far too drab, and all that fabric is not flattering. A BALL GOWN- as wrong as you can get for MTV!

Remember back in 2010 when everyone gasped because teenager Taylor Momsen quit her hit series Gossip Girl to become a rock star? Observers predicted she would live to regret her decision – but in fact, she hasn’t! Singer/songwriter Taylor is STILL performing with her band The Pretty Reckless, that she put together in 2009. Taylor, now 24, says she doesn’t miss acting at all, and the band has released 3 albums with enough success to keep them touring almost nonstop. Taylor’s band is particularly popular in Europe and made enough money to invest in a fancy new tour bus.
