AMY SCHUMER IS THE NEW FRANK SINATRA

Say what you will about “Trainwreck” comic Amy Schumer, she is no cheapskate! Amy and a bunch of friends went to see “Hamilton” in Manhattan and it must have put her in a very good mood. She invited her pals for a drink after the show and their tab was $77. Amy left a $1000 tip! The waitstaff was so excited they posted a photo of the bill on Instagram. This isn’t the first time Amy has tipped big- she recently left another waiter $500 according to his post on Twitter. Frank Sinatra used to carry wads of hundred dollar bills to hand to everyone. In the old days, servers called the tabloids when they got huge tips – and the papers paid them again for the gossip. Now they just post it online.

No one is happier that Donald Trump is running for president that his ex-wife Marla Maples. Back in the 90’s while she was married to Donald, Marla, 52, a Miss Georgia runner-up, did some acting and she occasionally appears on reality shows like The Ex-Wives Club. For awhile she struggled to get work, but suddenly she has been rediscovered! Dancing with the Stars snapped her up and everybody wants to interview her. Marla says he life has become “crazy” but seems delighted. Donald can count on HER vote!

IS KIM FIELDS TURNING INTO NENE LEAKES?

There’s a lot of NeNe Leakes in this recent photo of Kim Fields – note the blonde hair, the huge toothy smile, even the hand gesture. The former Facts of Life star has not only followed NeNe on to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but now she’s appearing on Dancing with the Stars just like NeNe did. We think NeNe has taken note this phenomenon – she remarked that she didn’t think Kim was an “exciting” addition to the Housewives show, and NeNe admitted that Kim wouldn’t be HER choice if she were casting!

CASTING SHOCKER: LAVERNE COX AS DR FRANK-N-FURTER IN THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!

We just don’t know WHAT to think about the casting of Laverne Cox as Dr Frank-N-Furter in the Fox TV live remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Certainly she has the acting talent and probably the voice to match. But the original star Tim Curry has some big shoes to fill. He was brilliant and unforgettable as the cross-dressing mad scientist. Casting a transgender WOMAN in the role of a transvestite MAN is confusing, indeed. Wow. But that’s what might make it a must-see production.

Flea Market Lynn Yaeger Michael Musto

STREETS OF NEW YORK: MICHAEL MUSTO AND LYNN YAEGER

We LOVE Hollywood, but seeing this photo of two New York characters makes us very sentimental. The red haired woman with the cupids bow lips is a very famous and clever fashion writer, Lynn Yaeger. She wrote about fashion for The Village Voice for 30 years and now contributes to Vogue, the New York Times etc. Her companion with the bicycle is Michael Musto, who wrote about NY nightlife for the Village Voice for many years and appeared on The Gossip Show on the E! channel with us.(Not to mention tons of other talk shows) We all love flea markets and years ago Michael and I went to a New York flea market and I tried to talk him into buying matching outfits for the Gossip Show. He wasn’t thrilled with the sweaters I suggested.

If Diana Ross doesn’t want to be photographed, WHY does she wear a GIGANTIC wig to go shopping at the supermarket? Actually, it’s an upscale fancy market, Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills, but the other shoppers can’t help but stare. Diana is quite a beauty, but she doesn’t seem to care HOW she looks when she’s not onstage. Despite her baggy sweats, the paparazzi always notice that big hair. She doesn’t bring her own bags to the market, either.

If you’re a fan of those 1960’s romantic comedies, you must remember Elke Sommer, who was a major sex symbol in those days. As a matter of fact, the Berlin born Elke not only appeared in Playboy, but costarred with Rock Hudson, Paul Newman, Dean Martin, Peter Sellers etc. She also had some of the best blonde bouffant hairdos of the era. Yesterday Elke turned up at The Palm with her adorable pooch. Don’t know if she smuggled him in or what.

It was only a matter of time. Madonna’s “little girl” Lourdes Leon resisted getting involved in modeling until her mother’s friend Stella McCartney made her an offer she couldn’t refuse. Lola, 19, is still at the University of Michigan studying musical theater, but she took time off to participate in Stella’s Pop fragrance campaign aimed at aspiring about-to-be successful young women. Actually Soko, 30, (full name Stephanie Sokolinski) is a singer and actress and she’s also a vegetarian like Kristen. (Did you know Kristen refuses to eat meat or even imitation meat on camera?) One of Soko’s hit songs is “Who Wears the Pants?” The couple was seen holding hands while strolling in Paris.
