The three top young models in the world of fashion happen to be the best of friends. Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Cara Delevingne washed off all that makeup they wear for work, pulled on some casual clothes and sensible shoes, and spent the afternoon doing what they do best – shopping in West Hollywood. The girls left their significant others behind, and grabbed a light lunch to fuel their energy. A triple threat for girl watchers.

The death of Michael Jackson’s dermatologist Dr Arnie Klein may open a HUGE can of worms and shed light on who Paris and Prince’s biological father was. It is believed that Dr Klein was the sperm donor for nurse Debbie Rowe, who gave birth to Michael’s two kids. Arnie was sworn to secrecy but even HE noted the resemblance between Prince and himself. And significantly, Prince is a straight A student like Dr Klein. FINALLY, Dr Klein’s will might reveal all! Will his biological children be mentioned? On a sadder note, despite Klein’s misadventures with Jackson, he WAS a kind and very entertaining and likeable doctor. (We frequented his office for gossip!) That’s what Sarah Silverman is telling us in this photo taken at the premier of her movie “I Smile Back.” We had hoped the pretty stand-up comic wore this absurdly revealing dress as a JOKE, but that isn’t the case. What possessed her? She plays a depressed and miserable housewife who cheers herself up with liquor and drugs in her first serious movie role. And we mean serious – this is a movie about psychological problems and she is said to be very credible. But this desperate-for-attention-of-the-wrong-kind dress makes us wonder about Sarah’s state of mind.

“Suffragette” should be required viewing for all young women. (Those of us who are not so young don’t need to be encouraged – we’ll be there.) Few movies have been made about the grim necessity of the women’s movement because MEN are in charge in Hollywood and they don’t like to be reminded of their despicable behavior. This movie was made BY women (another reason to see it) and it clearly illustrates the fact that until well into the 20th century, women were literally SLAVES with no rights at all, in what passes for CIVILIZED COUNTRIES! (They STILL have no rights in Saudi Arabia and other places -can’t even vote!) Remember what Gloria Steinem said: “Women have to choose – either she’s a feminist or a masochist!” (Above, Cary Mulligan’s character in the sweat shop)
When we think of Zooey Deschanel we always think of that pert brunette with the bangs and blue, blue eyes. She GREW UP overnight! Of course, she’s a wife now with a baby daughter (Elsie Otter) born in July. Gone are the bangs and babydoll dresses. Zooey is dressed up like a New York matron in a furry jacket, Chanel bag on her arm, and a sensible hairdo. Is this what becoming a mom does to you?

We love Katey Sagal, but she should know better than go to Beverly Hills looking like THIS! Her “Married…With Children” character Peg was usually flashily attired with too much makeup and hair. Katey could use a little of Peg’s oomph today. The “Sons of Anarchy” star is wearing some unfortunately flared jeans with orthopedic white sandals, no makeup, and plain Jane glasses. Frankly, we’re surprised the paparazzi recognized her. Katey is usually WAY cuter than she looks here. Everybody has an “off” day!

When the Beckhams are in LA, they like to do all the LA activities on the beach and in the gym. David is a regular at his SoulCycle class in Brentwood and frequently Victoria gets up early and joins him. David has his three sons involved in sports and gym workouts so the healthy California lifestyle is perfectly suited to the family. Unlike David, Victoria hates to be seen coming and going from the gym, so she keeps her head down.

Who better can represent the women of Hollywood than three generations of successful actresses in one family? It all started with Tippi Hedren, 85, who was discovered by Alfred Hitchcock in the early 60’s to star in “The Birds.” Her daughter Melanie Griffith, 58, grew up and starred in two of our favorite movies – “Something Wild” and “Working Girl” – among many others. Not long ago, Melanie’s daughter with Don Johnson, Dakota Johnson, 26, burst into stardom with “Fifty Shades of Grey.” The family turned up at the Elle Women of Hollywood Awards to watch Dakota receive the “emerging star” award. Above, right, Dakota’s little sister Stella Banderas, 19, looks like she might follow in their footsteps.

One would think that Lady Gaga would make an effort to look just a tiny bit pretty and natural when she goes out on a date with her hunky fiancée Taylor Kinney– but NO. She has extravagant platinum hair, heavy makeup and false eyelashes, and a far from flattering but colorful frock. Taylor never knows WHAT his girlfriend is going to look like when they go out! HE dresses in a classic manly way, yet he doesn’t seem to mind her flamboyance at all. He knows the REAL Stefani under all that foppery!
